I love the new drafts! They look amazing! cx

I'm very much so in favor of this, but can this one question be answered for me?; will the horses/ponies/donkeys/unicorns in our groups currently actually be changed from our current pets into these new ones? XD That's the only thing I don't like, but the only thing this project basically is. XD So I'm kind of at a conundrum. It's creepy that our pets will be equimagine one day and Yulynh the next! Dx But I still think it will be nice.

I just think is it wrong to change it. I mean there are so many people who have worked really hard just to even get one of them and now its just gonna go down the drain do to the fact that is its just gonna look the same as all the others. And i also think that it is wrong to just slap on someone else name on the art that someone else drew. Equine worked really hard to make those horses and ponies and now they are going to disappear just because you want to make them more traceable and make more items fit them. It doesnt matter if items fit them or not, work with what you have.

Ahh, I just realized part of the reason why I'm still on the fence about this:
I love equi's simple designs D: it's true that the conversions (the ones shown in the first post so far) look more detailed, but equi's designs were simple and... "cleaner", I guess? (for lack of a better word; for example, take that first horse conversion, the brown/white one. the conversion's design looks a bit scruffier; I like it, but I liked equi's non-scruffy version so much D: )

Also, I feel like some people aren't reading the entire post... it says that malk drafts and tess horses will not be changed. I'm honestly confused why people are asking if the tess horses will be changed when their answer is right there on the first page and has always been there ever since I first saw this thread when it only had 3 pages o.O

Actually, I believe the new designs are so much more cleaner. Being around horses almost every day, taking care of them, the new colors are so much more brighter and cleaner, and most definitely more realistic.

This will not be done if it is that close to a vote. It is only if the majority of the community wishes it be done.

More like a two thirds majority kind of thing right?

I'm not sure how much of a majority, but I imagine more than what we have now. ^^ There's no reason to get worried yet since it's already so very close.

You know, I liked equi's art in her time, but I honestly think this project would be a great step in the right direction for CS. People can use the "deleting part of history" argument all they want, I'll even agree. But it's a part of history I think CS should be happy to leave behind, as several have mentioned but I won't go into detail about. ^^ Progress and change aren't always a bad thing, guys.

Their rarity and date wouldn't be changing, just the quality of the color and design and the new lineart is much nicer. Besides, if we all of the horses on the new lines, everything would be much easier on the staff for pet purposes and it wouldd be very organized.

I say no, leave them the way they are. They are part of the history of how CS has changed over the years.

They're not trying to make them more traceable, they're trying to make them more uniform.
