If that makes any sense? If not I can see if I can explain a bit clearer.
I understand what you're trying to say. I think the idea of having the ability to switch between the two linearts would be better though, but I'm not sure if that could be coded.
Yes, I just wasn't sure if it was possible to be able to switch, or if it would just be too much work, so I thought that this would be the same amount of work as changing the actual pets, but it might not be. I don't know, because I'm not an Artist for CS or anything.

I support the upgrading of the lines simply because they will look better- honestly, it's not like the designs themselves are being deleted or changed dramatically. They're just being put on new linearts, that in my opinion, look much better than the old ones.

Will there be replacements for the Shima lines, too?
I believe it's only for the stated species on the front :)
Otherwise I'm sure it would be included.
oh, thank you

We are not planning on having the "Tess horses" and "Malk Drafts" updated, since those lines were always considered separate from the standard monthly "horse and pony" releases and are intentionally unique.

It's their personal opinion :) Not everyone is going to like everything, then there would be no variety in the world.
I personally really like the new drafts due to the faces <3
No, I'm sorry. I should have said it better.
I don't care much for the new Draft lines. It looks a bit "pudgy" to me.

No idea about the shima lines.
The drafts are kinda supposed to be pudgy. My draft horse has a nice round barrel like that. xD It's just their conformation.
Keep in mind guys to look at this as a WHOLE not just "oh one pet will be changed" as Tess mentioned on the front page. ^^

What I loved most about CS when I joined is that it isn't uniform, that you can have so many different linearts, you can see how much time each artist put into creating something for others to enjoy. I'm sorry, but in my opinion it's just wrong to take Equi's hard work and just get rid of it.
Tess/Malk horses won't be changed.

the tess horses are special linearts, like the tess dragons and malk drafts, and therefore are immune to this.
this only deals with the monthly horse linearts, which the tess horses were monthly horses for about two months back in 08.

Ahh, I just realized part of the reason why I'm still on the fence about this:
I love equi's simple designs D: it's true that the conversions (the ones shown in the first post so far) look more detailed, but equi's designs were simple and... "cleaner", I guess? (for lack of a better word; for example, take that first horse conversion, the brown/white one. the conversion's design looks a bit scruffier; I like it, but I liked equi's non-scruffy version so much D: )
Also, I feel like some people aren't reading the entire post... it says that malk drafts and tess horses will not be changed. I'm honestly confused why people are asking if the tess horses will be changed when their answer is right there on the first page and has always been there ever since I first saw this thread when it only had 3 pages o.O
Was your pet adopted December 18, any year, or December 24, 2011? It is most likely an older pet! CLICK ME to identify your pet!

Context, consistency, and clear antecedents are golden.
