How many days a week do you usually visit CS? If I'm not on vacations I visit CS every day.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? To be honest, I don't know. After I come home for school I turn my computer on and than stay online till I go to bed. So at least two or three hours, the most I was ever online were 17 hours in my vacations. But even on a school day I'm online as long as I can.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? My native language is German, so I speak it very well. I'm learning English since 9 years now, until 2009 I took French lessons, all in all for five years. I'm not good at it and I'm not used to it anymore, but I can read the basics. English chatspeak is also no problem. I don't use it myself, but I'm able to understand it.
I first forgot to add it in - I'm a Mod in the German xat, that one that's linked in the first post of the German Topic here. I've also been a Mod on another adoptable site, as well as on a German RPG site, but that went offline long time ago.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I like to help new players and I know how hard it can be if no one explains the basics to you. As I came to CS I was to afraid to come to the forums, so I left and came back three months later, but only due to a friend who was more active here. I try to answer wherever I stumble upon questions to help newer players - or old ones who took a long break and want to come back. Now it is really random that someone asks me something, but I wouldn't mind a lot of players asking me and I really enjoy helping others, just to see them making their way.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I speak English and Spanish, and I help people as much as I can already. I consider myself to be experienced with CS.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? Just to help people. I like to help people on CS and in real life.

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: I come on everyday.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: I have not been on Chicken Smoothie lately, but on a normal day I would usually spend at least 3 hours or more online.
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I have a taken a mediation elective in school this year. I have been learning some Spanish and although I am not fluent in the language, I could help a Spanish member more easily. I consider myself to have a good temper and don't mind working with newbies. I have been here from the beginning and know everything there is to know about Chicken Smoothie, and I feel that my knowledge and experience would be a good addition to the General Helpers' team. I have answered many questions in the Support forums, I know a small amount of coding, and consider myself to be an all-around CS expert.
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?: As cheesy as it sounds, I love helping people. I feel rewarded when I answer others' questions and can assist them with whatever problem they may have. I have a lot of experience working with many people and can adapt to helping anybody. I have a lot of free time that I would enjoy devoting to Chicken Smoothie.

Also, I have been very inactive lately, but if I were to get this position, my activity would rise. Since I only collect my favourite pets now, I don't have much to do, but being a General Helper would obviously change that.

Sep 25, 2008, but I haven't played consistently until May 22, 2010.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
As of now, including this post, 2,679 posts.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:
I visit CS everyday, but I am more active on Mon-Fri because Saturday
I have meetings with my Venturing Group and Sunday is church day.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
Mon-Fri (Summer): About 10 Hours (breaks inbetween.. depends when I wake up)
Saturday (Summer): About 4 Hours or more (depends what activities at Venturing Group)
Sunday: About 2~3 Hours (Family Day)
School times (Sept-May) vary on homework load, but I do check on the
forums inbetween homework. May be busy during mid-terms/finals.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):
I do float around the Art Shops and sometimes let people know if they need to cite back to CS if
they're using the pets as avatars. I am very open to talking to people and I have my own thread
which I monitor and talk to people with. I like typing out complete words and sentences, but sometimes
my grammar may be a little off because.. I think it's because my 2nd Language translates opposite
of English. I can type/read/speak Vietnamese. I'm friendly and I am a softie, I don't like yelling
at people unless I really need to. I am very sensitive to profanity, when I see it on my threads
I would PM the user and ask them to edit their message since this site is a family site. I am not
a very good person to ask for trade-values, I would direct the user to the "Is this Fair" thread.
I'm very patient and am willing to keep explaining to the confused user until they understand.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I want to be a General Helper because I like talking, meeting, and helping others when I can.
I know what it feels like to be the new guy (or gal) on a site and I want to welcome them and
let them know that we're happy to see a new face! Plus sometimes even I feel reluctant to ask
questions but I want to try to change that for shyer users and tell them that they can ask me
anything. I answer things to people politely, not stating things in a harsh or mean way. Though
I try to avoid that even if I am in a bad mood or such, I try not to be! I like being happy~ It
always makes me feel good if I helped someone out, it's the best feeling to know that you
are helpful and might be the first person that user will go for for another question.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I would like to be a General Helper mainly for the reason that I love helping. Also, I would encourage members to come to me with questions as I have a vast knowledge of solutions to technical, HTML and personal problems. Although young, I woould enjoy the opportunity to guide others through their problems with a friendly manner and bubbly personality.

I've taken 4 years of French and can understand and communicate with most. I am the owner of a very large fanclub on ChickenSmoothie in which I have defused various fights between members who are currently good friends now. I have served as "peer-mediator" between real-life friends also so I am adapted to arguments and how to solve them without causing more conflict. I have also checked around the Suggestions board and helped out a few newer members with how the site works and how to change up profiles.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I've always enjoyed helping people, and I've liked seeing people get the hang of things just by a little help from a General Helper.
I like seeing everyone have a good time on CS because everyone gets the hang of everything and has little problems. I've also been trying to find a suitable CS job for me to do and I think this on is it. :3

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7 a week. Maybe less when school returns. So then, about 5 a week.
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 5 or 6 hours. It's always up in a tab. Whenever I'm on the computer, Chicken Smoothie is ALWAYS up.

Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?): I have taken 4 years of consistant French and can communicate well with other players. I have roamed around CS, helping newer players, dissolving fights on forums and helping people properly set up their profiles. During scavenger hunts (such as the Faire) I have helped people find the banner easily and trade in items to get other items. I have also helped players get the pets and items that each station gives out. I am a owner of a fanclub and several successful RP's, of which some arguements break out and are quickly resolved with the help of my reasonings.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I would like to be General Helper because I like to see newer players very active on here because they know how to navigate around Chicken Smoothie. I like to see people posting on forums and getting proper help or advice without conflict. I even like to help older players around if they get confused.
