I understand what you're trying to say. I think the idea of having the ability to switch between the two linearts would be better though, but I'm not sure if that could be coded.

Thorissa: I believe by "vote", they meant to poll on this thread, in which "yes" is winning by a respectable amount. I could be wrong, though.

The bad thing about that though is the demand ones will get even more demand because people will then want them so they can have something from the original lineart. Which will then make them virtually impossible to obtain.

Agree.

Whether CS converts the equines or not, I'd be a little miffed if the decision did not apply one-hundred percent. The reason they want to update the lines is for uniformity, and changing some but keeping others would make the problem worse, rendering the whole project pointless.

If you want to consider how the high-demand Equimagines will be affected, you must also consider how the low-demand ones will be affected. The ones in high demand are in extremely high demand, and the ones that aren't are pretty much worthless. The high-value ones may lose some demand, but we will also see an increase in demand for the ones that aren't already. I'd rather see the majority of the horses increase in demand at the expense of a select few losing some demand.

Only problem is that the majority of equi's horses (as in the non-rares-list ones) will still not have much demand just because they aren't rare enough. And the ones up on the rares list (zebras, rainbow mane, roadkill, buckskin pps, etc) have a lot of demand compared to the regular monthly equimagine equines.

which means that CS's economy will go crazy if the rares list's equimagines switch linearts because their value is high enough to have a considerable impact, and I personally don't want CS's economy to get any crazier than it already is xD

That is quite disrespectful to Yulynh :/

It's their personal opinion :) Not everyone is going to like everything, then there would be no variety in the world.

I personally really like the new drafts due to the faces <3

No, I'm sorry. I should have said it better.
I don't care much for the new Draft lines. It looks a bit "pudgy" to me.

Will there be replacements for the Shima lines, too?

@snowy, that defeats the purpose of the equine project, I think. It's mostly getting the old horses onto the new lines, but that would be cool to switch between them. Only Nick would have a jolly ol' good time trying to code that.

Exactly. The whole point of this is to have one lineart for the ponies and horses, but if you're still keeping some pets in the old lineart you still have more than one lineart. :3

So, if you want to actually apply this idea correctly, you can go ahead and make lots of list pets look bad in the newer lineart, or not do it at all.

If Equi's lines are being changed, what about the Tess horses? Would those be changed too? They're much smaller than the other horses and are hard to dress up as well.
.......

What I loved most about CS when I joined is that it isn't uniform, that you can have so many different linearts, you can see how much time each artist put into creating something for others to enjoy. I'm sorry, but in my opinion it's just wrong to take Equi's hard work and just get rid of it.
