Unfortunately, the rules have been set. There's no way getting around them for this competition, but don't worry! Several normally open throughout the year, so as soon as you hit the 6-month requirement, you can apply for another position. The thinking is that more experienced candidates will apply, though I know how hard it is to be patient and wait to hit that mark! : -)

Sorry if I'm not up to the time limit, I wasn't entirely sure. :3

What date did you register as a CS member?: Feb 27, 2011
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 6111
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I usually visit CS seven days a week, at least I try to.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I usually spend six, give or take a few, hours. Depending on what's been going on, and if it's the weekend or not.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them I have, but nothing like this. There are really too many to link to, but I've been an admin and a mod on several different wetpaint sites, as well as formmotion sites. Most of them being just simple wolf packs though.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? I have, several times actually. It's the place I prefer to draw actually.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? I do. I enjoy looking at what the artists have drawn. :3
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I want to make sure that people obey the rules. I'm very open-minded and optimistic, and so I know how some people may feel when a user to rude to them in some sense, and would like to make sure that doesn't happen often.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: Nothing really of any value of pointing out. Fairness would be the biggest one, I suppose.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Sun Jul 11, 2010 4:05 pm (but I have spent a large amount of time on CS since then)
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 3173 (I believe an appropriate amount of posts for the time that ive been on cs ;))
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? On average I will visit everyday of the week. Unless I have something that needs to be done or a trip is planned even then I try to get on all the time.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Between 2-5 hours a day. Sometimes more sometimes less, this depends on the time of day that I can be on, and if I plan to spend a nice day relaxing here on cs.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
No I have not (please read other experiences ;)
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes I have, my Brother Dusto_28 also used it all the time, and I loved to watch. I think that I am getting better haha. You dont have to be great to love it though.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
All the time. I love seeing who is just starting out in the beginners , or who has posted in the intermediate. There are some very talented artists here.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I would love to be an oekaki Moderator because I believe that the art on cs is the bond for all of us here. Its something that I think we all (old and new) appreciate. And when someone loves something, they dont want to see it tarnished, and the want to keep it in order. Cs is a second home to me, there are great people here. I would love to beable to help anyway possible. To help in the Oekaki would just be the "bees knees" as the put it.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I believe that I am a resposible trust-able person for this job. I have a voulenteer job at a childrens program here where I live I spend alot of time with children. I know not to be biased, how to keep cool in tuff situations, and I also have learned that not every child will like you. This aplys very well to the job here. Not to mention I love cs, and would love to help anyway possible.

*EDIT
I was on in the last few days, and somehow, I dont know how, I managed to miss this post entirely, so excuse me for posting so late

^^ If you don't want Tess to count your form, the best thing to do would be to go back and edit it out, as she might not see this post.

Greetings. Toad's the name, and sarcasm is my game. (You may call me Toad.) I am a fan of knitting and most (if not all) varieties of pie. I like pretending I'm cooler than I actually am and acting like a fool. I am the most serious person you will ever meet.

Seriously.

I have to agree with Toadstool on this one. Going back and editing your post to something like 'Good luck' instead of a form may prevent you from accidentally becoming a moderator. If you've lost your post, just try to remember when you posted, and it should help you track down the page number and whatnot.
