ChickenPaint 2 now supports smartphones

If anyone is using an old iOS software, and it’s buggy, I’d recommend updating to at least the current iOS 14 (14.6 or 14.7, I’m not sure which is most recent). Apple just recently stopped all support for 14.5 and lower

Hi! I draw on an apple ipad and I frequently have the issue where the drop downs and misc bar will stop working, if i forget to save ill loose all my progress, since one of the latest updates ill be trying to do something and get zoomed into the site having to reload and again loosing my progress. I was drawing today and suddenly anytime i tried to use the misc bar or dropdowns it would work, I left the site for a few mins before reopening to find out I could barely go a few seconds without the program freezing up, I just wanna finish my drawing :,(

I use an ipad to do most of my drawing and I still encounter the same issues I had before the update. Currently I have to use an external tablet with my laptop to keep oekaki working. On ios (chrome) it will suddenly stop responding to clicking anywhere and its impossible to save meaning all my progress just dissapears.
When I attempted to use safari I was stuck with this:

Pretty sure you need Java for Chickenpaint…or is that for Chibipaint? I always mix them up, but apparently apple doesn’t allow Java

it really still doesnt work well for me on android. im also not a fan of the new UI on PC :/ idk why it would be changed so we cant just X out of the windows we dont want. i never use the textures or stroke windows and now i cant just x out of them to remove them

The new UI shouldn't appear on PC unless your window is super tiny.

I've now updated ChickenPaint 2 to fix a bunch of iOS specific bugs, it should work better on iPads and iPhones now.

Oh my goodness. chicken paint is now working beautifully on my iPad…. Not a single annoying issue to negotiate. Thank you so much for fixing ios specific bugs
