i dont think the horses should be changed. yul's (so sorry i dont know how to spell the whole username)linearts are just so " serious" (no offense i still love them) while equimagines arent as realistic but i like that about them. and i think it would be easier for all of the artists if the horses just stayed the way they were.

I voted yes, but now I'm confused. I read the post and it sounded like they were simply updating the originals into current lines... but reading a few replies, it sounds like they're updating to current lines and deleting the originals.

Will the unicorns all have the same lineart if they are changed? I like the fact that the current ones have several different poses, and think it would be a shame if they were all converted to the same lineart.

i wanna point out that CS continues to grow every day, and the sort of.. history with equimagine's lines isn't the best to help reputation. i don't know about the rest of you, but i'd prefer all the designs to be on yulynh's lines to get rid of the "controversy" that's come with the old lines.

not to mention that the horses just don't look uniform, and it's difficult to dress them up when not all the items fit every one of the lines.

You can still save them to your computer, we can keep an archive of them, etc. c: I don't think they're going to be wiped off the face of the planet, but the hope is to replace them with the current lineart, but the same design on the lineart.

The Unicorns will get new lineart not sure about different poses.

Why? Because of simple reasons.
I have overheard what many people are saying on this thread. "Deleting CS history" makes good sense, along with all of the reasons not to, but I'm pretty sure that Tess and Nick will find a way so we can view the old linearts, so what's the big deal?
If it was done, I'm suggesting a button that allows us to switch different linearts, and/or putting old linearts in a special place in the archives.
If this is done, then I see nothing wrong with changing the linearts.

So you'd rather we get rid of Equi's lines all together? There's no "controversy", it's not some huge thing that will make people hate CS. And as Tyr said, it's easier to make the items fit the linearts than to change all the old horses and ponies into the new lineart.

The different shapes is what makes the old horses/pony's special. We should not throw that away over items.

The proposed lineart change is primarily for uniformity of the site. Items, potential tracing, etc., are all side reasons.

No, I don't think so at all... I love all of those old line-arts (espetially the drafts and I really don't like the new drafts!) and I think the old designs look a little odd on the newer line-arts.

(and I don't really care that the newer items won't fit on the older horses and vise versa)
