Big Rarity Update - read for details!

im not going to rant about the update but really fast because like the minority of people on here, i dont like the update...

-I had a toooon of uncomons that are now v common
- a bunch of my rares areuncommon
- only 2 of my uncommons changes to rares
- trading up for rares is going to be so hard now
- my goal is to get an OMGSR which is going to be impossible now because all i have to offer are v commons
- recent trades for rares are super unfair now because i spend C$ on uncommons
- new players are going to have a handful of v commons that no one wants

its pretty sucky for me is all but im glad other people are getting good outcomes

on the bright side i organize by species not rarity so i dont have to reorganize

I'm kind of sad because of this because most of my pets are vc or omgsc now, and some of my rares are uc.

same it makes me sad thinking about how much harder it will be to trade for rares now that all of my pets are very common.

im really hoping people will start to appreciate and respect commons and below now that theyre everywhere

im sorry but to be honest i really don't like this update. first off i had alot of uncommons and now almost all of them turned into commons and very commons. second, alot of people (including myself) organize their pets based on rarity and will have to go through and resort all of their groups. finally, i believe it makes trades alot harder to do.

Yeah. I also had some really good rares that changed into uncommons. My friend says it's because they're from Halloween but if that's true then why not make the "uglier" Halloween rares into uncommons?

This is helpful, but...
I noticed that absolutely all of my precious rares (that I'd traded a whole lot for too) are now uncommon..
I checked every single group and the only pet I own that went up in rarity was this one

The new rarities of some of my younger pets make so much more sense than the old ones! Very Common might really mean Very Common now

One downside from my end: all the missing outcomes from a couple of years ago on my wishlist are now rarer Oh well, so it goes *bustles off to play musical chairs with trade group pets*

I'm so happy about this, my 2011 collection from when I first started I knew was now rarer than just common, now I suddenly have a pile of rares and I'm so happy. It's been frustrating for years how the rarities really didn't quite match and I'm so glad this change was implemented

Because the "uglier" ones are less liked then the cool looking ones, so less people get that one which in the end makes it more rare then the ones most people got.
I dont think you should rant as venting isnt allowed on CS (I think) but like i said, some pets turned common and very common cause more people have that pet, if less people have it, its more rare, the change was because most people have quit CS and new players joined CS which makes the rarities change. So the changes depend on how many ACTIVE players have certain pets

I find it fine as far as updates go. Back in 2012 they did a whole revamp like this I completely forgot about it, but I found it word how the system was I mean you use to not really see uncommons in a litter that's why they were uncommon and rares well only a few people had them and everyone searched for them. This system just puts value back where it should and though it stinks now you can build trust me on that one

I'm sad that a lot of my older pets were traded for what ended up to be mainly commons, vc,and OMG commons, but you know win some and lose some.

On the positive side my older dogs turned rare T.T couldn't be more proud I have held on to those dogs for years. Sad to see my black tri aussie didn't go up,but at the same time just provides opportunity to get more ^^
All in all there were wins and losses thank you team for the hard work you put in to do this is a huge update
