CS's history is tainted. This change would be for the greater good. No skeletons left in the closet, so to speak. It would rid CS of this embarrassment and could possibly save the site.
look the pic were not copy righted they can not do any thing to chicken smoothie and yes as you say their would be "skeletons left in the closet"
They certainly can punish CS for tracing their pictures. It's their intellectual property and it's protected under law. Not to mention CS rules also prohibit tracing. So it would be both bad for the site and a little hypocritical to just let them stay and continuing infringing on the rules.

Don't mean to be rude.
That's what drafts look like. Equi didn't do as well a job at showing a true draft.
Draft horses are thick all over, their head, their neck, their legs, everything. For many, the body does look shorter, because they aren't as graceful or light as, say an Arabian or Saddlebred horse. They have big, bulging muscles for the most part, because remember, they're usually bred to work!
Here's one example of a real draft.

I know, I've seen a real draft horse before.
But it still seems off to me.

Draft horses are one of my top 2 favorite breeds of horses, I have seen a lot of them in person and NONE of them look quite as extreme as the picture you posted. They were all more slender than that, I think the picture you found was just the most stocky one you could find...

I love the old horse lines to pieces and I spent so much trouble trading for the Buckskin PPS just because I loved the lineart. Transfering them over would just be upsetting for me. Please don't do this...
please
It's been stated a few times that even if the descision is made to change the lines, it's likely that separate polls will be set up to decide the fate of "special" pets like the buckskin PPS. There's a chance that even if the normal lines are changed over, your PPS could be safe... or even get an cuter, unique lineart! (you never know)
I'm sorry that you find it upsetting, but keep in mind that there's a lot of other factors to be considered.
this kind of post from staff makes me think the decision was made before this poll so don't get it... but whatever will be will be.. I just viewed the old Malk lines that were before my time and actually really, really liked the heads on her old draft versions..no matter what still will play and collect my pets as usual
hang in there Star Burst I get it!

They are not rare because of the lines or designs, they are rare because of demand and how many are in circulation throughout cs
Slightly late, but demand doesn't affect rarity. Equinagine's horses mostly have pretty low demand ans there are plenty of rare ones, as a relevant example.
i tolaly agre i mean not many people hoard or even try to get them any more

Actually I literally looked up draft horses and picked something from the first row.
And if you'd like, I can give you many more examples of thick drafts. There are some that aren't as stocky, but many are. Just give me the word and I'll provide examples.

I agree with this Transformation Project. I always have a hard time trying to fit items on certain horses and they never work out. I love the draft lines and I wonder how you are going to make the PPS lines look. Will Equine horses that people own disappear? As in they no longer own them or will they just change their look? Just curious.
