I think it's a great idea! Mostly because the items would fit all horses and that mess would get cleaned up finally And I personally like the new lines much much more than the old ones. I see a lot of people saying no because of the rainbow mane horse- probably because it's one of the more valuable horses there is. I think that saying "no" to this brilliant idea just because of the one horse is...well, not very objective. Actually, I think making an exaple rainbow main would help with this, since some people "can't imagine" how the new one will look like

Personally, I prefer the old lines. Sure, the new ones are more realistic, but they are so... Good, I feel like they clash with the cartoony style of CS.

I really like the old linearts (more than the current ones).
I simply think it's something special for users who have the old lineart. They simply wont be aviable again and so they have a quite rarity.
I'd personally not be interested in the old horses anymore if they will be changed to the new lineart.
I guess that would also happen to other users.

That being said, it could be flipped the other way. More people may be collecting horses if the project goes through since a lot of people don't value Equimagine horses as much as other pets.
Personally, if the change happens, there are tons of horses that I'm going to be trading for.

I've voted a huge "Yes!" to the proposed lines change.

Not many horses can rock a bald patch in its mane & ears in the middle of its skull, and this one is no exception. Never liked these lines and will be very glad to see them gone.

Looking forward to seeing my RBM in Yul's gorgeous lines to see it in all its intended fabulousness!

Yes, exactly. From what I see the old horses are in much lower demand than the new ones. I have dozens in my trades and most people just don't want them. So I still agree that this idea is great

I absolutely love the old lines and I really think it would be a shame to get rid of them if I'm honest. I much prefer the old lines to the new ones and I know many other users would be sad too.

I'm voting no on the change for one simple reason... Uniqueness. Even though rarities won't/shouldn't be affected it's the simple fact that if you were here from the early days you've watched the site grow and become something so much bigger and better than a lot of us imagined. To have a funky Nick horse is something to brag about! Look how the designs have changed over the years! Wow! I personally adore the fact that I can see the progression of artwork over time. I LOVE the old drafts over the new ones and the foals from the early days are so flippin' cute!!! The ones kicking and bucking, the sleepers, the panda drafts!... aaaawwwwdorable! I honestly wish some of the old line art would be brought back to change up the monotony of shape and style.

I can see that a lot of CS users don't mind either way but I would much rather have an eclectic collection of horses and ponies in various stances and styles than have 500 of the same thing in different colors. I gladly forfeit the ability to "fit" an item if it means losing my variety of line art, and besides it just means I'll have to be more clever with item placement.

...not to be rude, but why are you talking about the site in 'the early days' if you joined in 2012?

I know this wasn't protruded at me, so I'm sorry for intruding. But hey, I joined like three days ago, and I was able to catch on pretty fast from other areas around the form that this isn't how the community is supposed to be, or usually is.
Just, I mean no offense at all to either of you. I'm just not a fan of the "your accounts pretty young" debacle.
It's not that hard to find that the community is pretty angry about the change, and I'm not trying to speak for you Goddess, but perhaps when you first joined the waters were a lot calmer?
