Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start. So many good memories it's almost impossible to keep track of them all. xD Unfortunately, there are some bad, too, but that's honestly bound to happen anywhere you go, so I don't stress over it. :3
I guess I will start off by saying that I joined way back on November 28th of 2010 as ElijahWilkes. I was actually introduced to the site by some ex-friends of mine and I'm now really the only one who has stuck around. xD I still to this day feel very fortunate about my timing with joining and how I did things right away. Back then, people were already in the Holiday spirit and giving away all sorts of crazy pets and it was super beneficial to be a "newbie" at that time. My dream pet was originally the Holly Fox Dog and I got that so fast, within my first week, from an amazing user who no longer plays anymore. I ended up having to come up with a new goal because I no longer had to try for my dream pet. lol
Aside from dream pets, my first real goal on the site was to get a complete PPS collection. I met so many awesome, kind, and generous people that I managed to complete that goal in less than 3 months of me joining the site! It's because of that amazing achievement that I decided to hoard all PPS pets and still do to this day. I'm not really as high on that hoard as I'd like to be (a little over 8k now), but I still love it with everything I've got. <3
As I mentioned before, I've managed to meet a load of awesome people thanks to CS. But the one I'm most thankful for is Cellar. She has helped me out so much and is such a major friend in my life now that I have no idea what I'd do without her. I seriously can't imagine not having her around. If I had to pick one thing about CS that was my favorite thing in these past 7 years, it would be meeting her, getting to know her, and managing to merge accounts with her before you guys stopped allowing that. I don't think she understands how much she means to me as a friend and I'm not really sure I do, either. If anyone is curious, this is her account where she was originally ~CellarDoor~, which is why the join date is in March of 2010. We became friends so fast and got a long so well that we decided to merge actually around this time in 2011. There were some people who questioned our motives and thought we were doing it to be a part of the "in crowd" since it was popular to do at the time. A lot of users would merge, get into a fight later on, and break apart. But here we are, 4 years later and still merged, with not a single regret for either of us about merging. It was literally probably the best choice either of us made on here, although I can't speak for her on that.
Anyway, once Cellar and I merged accounts, (which I'm not sure if Tess and friends remember all of that merging mess back then, let alone specifically us xD) we made it our huge CS dream to get a complete collection. We've been through so many stressful trades, successful trades, and astonishing gifts throughout our years to help us reach that goal but we finally managed to complete that goal back on August 21st, 2013. That was all thanks to one extremely unprecedented and unexpected
gift by the extremely generous
Solfeggio. While we had everything else in our collection at the time and that was the last pet we needed, both Cellar and I will never forget that trade and I know I can speak for Cellar on that one. It's kind of sad to go to their profile now and see that they've been inactive for nearing a year and a half but that happens. If I had to choose one thing I regret, it's seeing some of the good people we've met go and/or never come back. :c
Another amazing memory is when CS first had the stickers available in the store. We were honestly considering both buying some when we got a PM from Nick letting us know that we were one of the top contributors on the site and were therefore going to get a complete set of stickers for
free! Not only was it amazing to us that we got recognized by the admins for such a thing, we let them know that there were two people on this account and they actually sent a complete set of stickers to both of us!! This is definitely a moment we will never forget, as well. It would've been super hard to try and figure out how to split up the stickers and who to send them to first, etc. xD Thank you so much for accommodating us on that and for even giving us recognition for how much we've contributed, Tess and Nick! You have no idea how much that meant to us! I'd actually be curious to know if we were still a top contributor at this time. LOL
Anyway, I think I've gone on long enough, this post is going to be super long. As a summary, the best moments for me on this site are definitely meeting, getting to know, and merging with Cellar, finally completing our whole CS pet collection (only 20 some items left to have a complete item collection, too), and the free stickers we got for being a top contributor. :3 My biggest regret would have to be witnessing so many amazing people have to leave the site or just never hearing from them again.
Happy Birthday Chickensmoothie (I know this is a bit late, sorry about that xD)!! And thank you for the amazing almost 5 years and all the years that are to come! :3
