A bunch of the less rare rares also shifted down to extremely uncommon, so in that sense it benefitted from 2 new rarities. I think 4 rare categories and one borderline rare is plenty imo.

Loving all of these! Its going to make pet values so much more easier to figure out and trading rare+ pets not as loose or dependant on legacy methods! My biggest issue when trading for Ex-lists was that there was a LOT riding on old status quo (for lack of a better term) and massive gaps between pet worths when there shouldn't have been any.

As far as I can see only a handful of rares went down, and a lot of uncommons went up! EU and R are now my two biggest categories. I think before I had only 50 VR pets and ~400 R and now we're at almost 400 VR and 1000 R , so it definitely makes it a little harder to understand the actual number change in that area (I assume old VR is more like the new ER ? )

It's kinda strange to change prices for most of the pets in my shop and sort them out again but I kinda like the change in lower rarities, making certain pets more valuable. What I don't like that much is the amount of OMGSR pets we have now since pets that were always OMGSR seem to have lost in value by quite a bit but we will see. Maybe Skelebun might finally be more affordable if according to the new update we have around same amount of skelebuns as PPS rose pups xD I just wonder if the rarity is calculated by active users or just numbers in general, including pound pets and inactive accounts. It also feels like the OMGSR pets factor is highly influenced by hoarders, which certainly feels like it when it comes to store pet rarities.
Then again, if the rarities for pets we got now are determined by certain number of owners, I do hope it wouldn't be such a big deal to give us item rarities same as the new pet ones...

just my two cents, but maaaaaybe down the line. I think that there's still going to be a pretty large discrepency when it comes to actual rarity vs. demand on some of the more popular pets like the raven dog, pps dragon cat, etc. I feel that users will be less likely to overpay for pets that are high in demand, but not actually all that rare in comparison.
