I don't understand why all these people are supposedly contacting the photographers and thinking they're helping by doing so. Yes, the person has a right to know their art was stolen. They also have a right to hear about it from someone who has all of the information, not some random person on the site. For all anyone here knows, Tess has already spoken with these people and worked things out, and all you're doing is aggravating them. Honestly if I got a message from a site owner about how their kids site was using tracings of my pictures two-three years ago but had stopped once they found out they were traced, I wouldn't be upset. If I got a bunch of spammy messages from kids with likely false information meant to raise drama and get the site they supposedly like shut down, I would sue just to shut their annoying fingers up. :3

And about the equimagine being forgotten thing, she would likely still be listed as the artist in the archive. Are you saying that all of our artists will be forgotten just because their name doesn't appear on the line-art? That doesn't feel very nice...

If someone colors in Tess' dogs, their name doesnt show up either.
If someone colors in Yulynh's lines, their name doesnt show up.
Etc
Only the name of the creator of the lines is usually on there ^^

Because a lot of people are upset and worried that equimagine will be forgotten about and so they don't want the change from what I have read. This would be a very simple way to satisfy them at least in part but still get rid of any issues with the lines. :/

She'll still be in the retired staff section, she'll still be in the archive.. She doesn't need her name on lines to be remembered. :)

There's no way she could be forgotten since we will make sure she will be credited for all her wonderful designs. :)

No no I know that she won't be forgotten. But I have seen a lot of users commenting that they are concerned about this. I was just trying to find a way for us to compromise, constructive, rather than always fighting since that doesn't help Tess at all with he decision. It was just an idea lol throwing it out there for Tess and others to contemplate, not like I am going to force anyone to use it

Still like the archive idea though, maybe that would be possible, ah well, whatever happens happens. Can't wait to see this thing locked and a decision made about this.

Somehow I think the lines will change... Though I reckon it's mostly due to the new draft.

Definitely not. I infinitely prefer almost all the old horse lines vs. the new ones. A big NO from me.

Still, I personally think that Equimagine`s lines are kinda... a part of CS`s history, if you get what I mean. Although all the stuff that happened, I understand Equimagine and it`s not like she purposely did that.

I think it would be the best if Tess or Nick contacted the owners of the pictures because the only thing that can happen is more drama. Tumblr and the internet is already full of comparing the linearts with the original pictures, rude comments and stuff like that.

I just hope any legal things about that won`t happen. Dx The last thing we need is legal problems.

I really like equimagine's line-art though, so I had to vote no. I think it's the best horse line-art we have had, and I would love to have that one back instead of getting it rid totally. It's a cool idea, but I beg you to please not change it. The horses represent a different part and history of CS, and getting rid of them would be, to me, horrible. Thanks for reading.

Funny how pretty much no one had a pet of hers or had one in the siggy and are now talking about how much they LOVE the lineart. Sorry but I would prefer new lineart like the draft horse is getting not switched to the pony type..

This saddens me. :c I've always preferred the old lineart. Rainbow manes & those old adorable PPS ponies just won't seem the same.

Agreed. Maybe it isn't just the new users, though. I tried collecting all the ponies with the forelock over their eye, and my first ever dreamie was the Roadkill PPS. None of them will ever be the same.
