Hello! My name is Chii-sai and here's a bit more about me~

What date did you register as a CS member?:
I joined August 15th, 2008, so that will be four years in just a couple of days! ^-^
I had adopted off-account pets before then to put in my signature on other websites.
Unfortunately, I had forgotten about Chickensmoothie until early 2010 and was inactive for about two years.

How many posts have you made in the forum:
As of now, 2099~ Since I roleplay on other sites and not here, my post count isn't too high.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:
Seven out of seven days usually~ this changes with vacations, holidays, etc.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Since I do a lot of Oekaki art, I'm on at least three hours a day and at most four to five.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
Well, let's see... I can speak Spanish which might help a bit in some places. I've been a mod on other sites, sites that have long since shut down, so I've had a bit of practice with such things. I also get a lot of newer people commenting on my art, and it's very fun helping them around when they have questions!

I don't usually do a lot of question answering~ I would like to though. I feel this job might give me some more initiative to talk more. As for guiding around the site, tools on the Oekaki, trade settings and the like, I have a decent grasp on all and now where to look for guides on rarity, official names, trading, etc.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
As mentioned above, I do enjoy helping other around the site, and I have a feeling getting this job will get more a bit more well known around the CS, and thus gain more friends and experiences. Since I do lurk in the corners of the Oekaki most days, I'm hoping to brave my way out on to the rest of the site and do my best to help others~

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 18,271.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7 days a week.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? It depends. On weekdays, I'll spend about 5 - 6 hours scattered throughout the day, whereas on a weekend I might spend the entire day (with the exception of Saturday morning) on Chickensmoothie.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) I am a well-known member for knowing her rarities - I have contributed to the user-made "Rares List", and I have been a longstanding member who has been helping people with rarities or trades since early 2011. I am listed as a Helper on the second post, so I already deal with people asking me for help regularly, and I am fully willing and able to help them. I have also been here since 2008, and have witnessed events, and more importantly, I know the ropes and what makes people tick. I know how trading works, how to edit profiles, trading threads, and limited Oekaki use, etc. If I don't know the answer, I have several users on Skype that I can contact efficiently, and if I can't reach them, I know where on the forums to search and which members to PM.

I love to PM and chat, so I always keep my inbox clean and organized, and I will often reply within a couple of hours if not mere minutes, so my replies are pretty quick.

I attend a riding school, so I do have to deal with helping little kids or beginners tack up - and hence I know how to repeat stuff over and over, and I have additional activities which have helped me hone the ability to repeat things. ^^;

I am also an "Adopter" for the "Adopt A Newbie" organization, and am currently working with a newbie now - I find it pretty rewarding. I also frequent reading/helping out whenever in the Problems & Suggestions forums, and I greet new people in the Introductions forum here & there.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? Well, I've always wanted to be one.
I've been friends with a couple of the General Helpers over the years, and I have to admit, I like what they do, (how they do it - I mean, all that patience) and I want to the do the same. It's always been in my nature to try and help people, it gives me a warm feeling - even if it puts me at a disadvantage at times. I decided I wanted to be a General Helper sometime after I saw the applications end back in August 2011.

I love to help out and share my knowledge, and I would love to take that to the next level. It'd be nice to join the ranks and also to start giving back to the CS community after taking for so long.

How many posts have you made in the forum?
I've made 1617, soon to be 1618, once this is posted.
The reason that its rather low for my date is that I used to be so shy on this site e.e but I've mostly broken past that barrier now. Just gotta decide which area of the boards I like best now, I guess.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I'm on every day that I have internet access. Which is pretty much every single day that I'm not on holiday.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I'd say about 6-10 each day.
Yes, I do jump online at school. Its a bad habit D| I'd still have around six hours online if I wasn't online at school though, so theres not really much to worry about when it comes to me being online xD

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I've helped out a couple of newbs before, taught them how the game works, taught them to trade the best I knew, just generally tried helping them out the best I knew. I've currently got three newbs I help out, except I generally help two of them out through skype (long story, but I'll just say I knew them before they got in to cs) and the other is generally helped through messages.
I do more or less know trade values and such. I can paperclip up to the advent list in two days, if that counts for anything.
Unfortunately, oekaki kills my laptop with lag, so I don't use it often. But if I was asked about it, I could probably answer, yeah.
I've been involved in a bit of secret mod business on another site, too (note that I'm not a mod there), and tend to help the mods there when I can (one of which is active here). I know another of the mods from that site in real life, too. So I'm not totally clueless at knowing how site staff is, and can recognize when I'm totally out of my depth with helping out.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Okay, I'll be serious now. Sorry about that.
Over the years on cs, I've gained so many pets. Rares, very rares, advents, a september and a rares list. But most of them were gifted to me.
How does that have anything to do with being a general helper? Well, I've felt like I owe all of cs for all I've been given on here, whether it be pets, friends or the years of enjoyment.
And I'd like to do something for cs, to say thank you. I'd love to help out. But its actually a lot harder to do that than I thought. I've been paperclipping in the hope of getting September lists to gift away. And I still don't feel that thats enough, I'd like to do more.
Being a general helper is the perfect opportunity to get back at the cs community for all they've done. It would be an honour to help out here.

Also, I'd like to point out that I'm incredibly grateful to the general helpers for the "General Helper's Adoption Alliance". Thats how I got my first ever dremies, and one of my first rares. I really admire the general helpers x3

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Daily, unless under unusual conditions.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Approximately 2-3 hours, usually 5:00 - 7:00+ - GMT + 12:00

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I am bilingual, I can speak Croatian as well as English, and I have had a few experiences in peer mediation. I do know my rarities in trading and I am very familiar with using Oekaki. I do answer as many questions as I possibly can on the forums, and I get pretty psyched every time I get a new message xD

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I really want to be of as much help as any moderator to all the newbies and unfamiliars, and I really love the pleasurable feeling I get every time I help someone. I hate to see people struggle only to have their cries for help be drowned out by the floods of other users. I'd love to gain more experience in helping users, and I would be really be willing to give it my all! I am quite a friendly person, and I am very flexible when it comes to reasoning with me. I'm quite serious, but not in any way aggressive or stubborn. I'd be honoured to work for the CS community, especially since they are the very users who helped me improve in my anatomy and art skills!

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
   I usually visit everyday, but there might be a few days here and there that I might miss, since I might become busy.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
   On weekends and holidays, I usually spend half the day and usually more. On weekdays, it would have to be between 2 - 5 hours.
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
   I fluently speak english, and I also speak little German and Japanese, but I am not fluent in them. I know how trading works and I am knowledgable of the rare, september and advent list, and I am quite good at working out if trades are fair. I occasionally visit the CS suggestions and problems forum to help and answer questions. Usually when other questions are posted about, as in oekaki boards and general discussion, I answer them. If someone pms me a question, which I am happy to answer to, I answer them to my full understanding of it. I've used the oekaki quite a lot, so I know how most of it works, and if I don't I usually work it out quickly. I know how to make oekaki smaller, bigger and transparent with the URL.
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?
   I would love to become a general helper since I love helping out. Also I've been wanting to help out on a site for awhile now, since it looks like a lot of work, managing questions user have. I've been hired on a few other sites as a moderator and admin assistant, being able to help out, but sadly those sites either shut down or noone visits. I'd love to be able to answer any questions and welcome users to the site.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I do know when there is a fair trade fairly well.I know enough Greek to have a decent conversation with someone and I know basic German and Portuguese.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? CS has given me a lot.When I first joined I thought it was nothing more than a silly website.That was before I found out how addicting it was.It was exciting at December 18th and I got a few rares list pets at around January.This year I sarted to make a couple of friends around CS and I got a penpal.When I have a awful day at school I come online and cheer up to see a gift waiting or a friendly PM from someone.During the beginning of last month and this month I had an eye out for rules breakers and reported quite a few of them.I can't believe some of the tricks cheaters tried to play.I do admit I've always wanted to be a general helper.I just want to give something back.

Because I spend a ton of time online, I might as well be doing something to help someone.

... I spend pretty much all weekend on here....but on average.... maybe 5 hours on a good day... 2-3 on a busy day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

I'm good at using Oekaki *But hold your horses, Does not mean I'm good at drawing* I do speak Japanese.... Why that would be helpful beats me.... I speak some German...
And I spend A LOT of time at the fair trade Xat chat made by Hekomi.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:

I have loads of spare time online, and I would really love to be able to pull me weight.
I think I visit pretty much every day.... And as a thanks I would love to be able to help out.
I am someone who listens to rules, so I always report rule breakers *I mainly stalk around in the Oekaki boards*
I am fussy with a keen eye, so if I see something out of place... I'm on it c:
I love to make people happy, I really really do, and I would love to be able to make everyone happier.

Everyday.

It really depends on what day it is, as on week-ends I spend about the whole day on CS, and on Week-days (Because of school) I only spend about 2-3 hours..

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):
I (am) and can speak Lithuanian, and at school we're doing French..
Also I know all Oekaki tools and the use of them. I'm also friendly and stay calm even if someone is being rude and annoying.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I know what it's like to be confused over something,and so I want to help others out.
I know the site rules pretty well, so I could answer things regarding the rules with no difficulty. I check the Help and Support forum often, for anything that I can answer right. And even though this isn't like a high position as staff, I still find it highly important, and would gladly take part and be of this position ^^.
