So what you're telling me is this proposed change IS in fact increasing Equimagine horses' popularity?
I've seen it myself as well. Gotten more trades for her various linearts over the past two days than ever before.
It's like people who've known of the tracing issues for years and shunned her linearts because of it are now happily trading for those same horses at the prospect of watching them miraculously change to a valid uncontended lineart with fresh new paint jobs.

I have recently noticed that I am severely lacking in the Unicorn section of my own trade groups and have made it a mission to gather some for future fodder as I'm sure the new lineart, while the old was strained and unnatural looking, will be phenomenal. Just with seeing what Yulynh has given us so far I have high hopes for these new pets.

I'm certainly clinging to mine until they get changed. i expect phenomenal results based on what we've seen so far.

I will have to trade for them again if the new lines update comes in. I didn't like the look of the old lines, so traded them all away. Even the drafts. Now they are looking super yummy, I'll have to go about re-collecting!

Haha same. The only thing that even remotely worries me is the crazy amounts of trading I'm going to have to do. I've been using my equi horses as trade fodder ever since they came out because I wasn't a fan of the lines. Now that they're so cute ill have no choice but to track them all down.

"we have all traced" well uhm i used to trace things like dvd covers just for fun when i was like six ?? i didn't distribute thousands of copies of them and say they were my own work.

the rules of this site are very strictly against things like this so i dont even see why we need to discuss whether the lines should be changed ???

Same here on the trades - I've had more good trades for equimagine horses in the past two days than I have in two years. ^^ I'm kind of clinging to my trade stock now though, in case I end up liking the new ones so much that I don't want to trade them away!

Might anyone support the image changing to your own will idea? It should be easier on the staff to just put up an optional link on your pets info where you can change your pets image from equimagine to the new lines(vice versa) whenever you wish...? Those whom dislike equimagine can change out the lines and be happy with what the have instead of completely erasing the lines existance...

I would support that. I'm not sure if it would be the most convienient for the staff to do, but I like that idea a lot. On one hand, I love the oldest lineart the best, but on the other hand I'm very curious about what the new versions would look like.

But how does trading work? It could confuse people into thinking ones rarer than the other or something. Or which would be default? And they're still plaigarised. People really need to stop brushing that off like it's no big deal. I don't think people realize a crimes a crime, no matter the magnitude.
