I didn't know art theft had taken place with her horses. I loved the designs and still do. I don't want Cs to get in trouble, but 2 years since it happened is a long time. If it was a problem then they would have fixed it. Or possibly we can come up with a compromise?

That's a terrible idea. We would still be utilizing stolen work and I for one would not sit down and shut up. That's not okay.

First off, thank you for the opinion; even if you were rather rude and honestly acting like a jerk when you expressed it.
Second, you wouldn't have to utilizie 'stolen work' as you put it. We can all get what we want this way if people get over the similarities between said lines and the picture our artist supossedly traced.
Third, as I said before, there was no confirmed art theft that ahppened. We should all trust Equine's testimonies that the picture was not stolen and thatit is simply a mistaken idenitiy... its like accusing someone of stealing your Fursona design because they have similar markings on them or of stealing your story because the plots have certain points in common.
Lastly, next time you feel the urge to express your opinon do not use the first word that comes to mind. Think about the users feelings before you speak; if you don't have anything nice to type, do not type at all.

Equimagine herself admitted there was art theft, simply that it wasn't intentional.

I'm afraid there are still issues. I'll sling this up here again to hopefully make things crystal clear.

Why should I trust her when she lied about it? You can look at the images and see their traced. I trust my own eyes more than the second hand testimony of someone I never met.
Also I am thinking about other's feelings. Namely, the victims of this crime, the photographer's who's work was stolen.

Okay so I have a few reasons for voting yes to the change.
One that has been stated more than enough, they are all traced and or heavily referenced.
Going along with that, they aren't well done. Ever have one of those tracing books as a kid, the end result looks awkward and not nicely done. Yeah, that's how the lines look.
Tbh I'm not a fan of yulynh ponies, only because of the hair for some reason, but if you're like me i'm sure you can easily over look that. I mean, just because you like the old lines doesn't mean it's bad to do the change. Imo we are lucky to even get the choice unlike other sites.
Honestly, if the yes vote doesn't win, I hope they change it anyway.

Was just messing around in my extra Equines and decided to do some comparisons. They're currently in my signature.

I know everyone has their own opinions about things but just look at those lines, colorations, etc.
I would soooooo love to see Equimagine's original line art on a variation of Yulynh's Arabians from the store. And I really do feel her later stock horses would be just fine on our stock horse lines that are in use every month. ^_^
