Bit of a random question, but when you read these applications through, do you bother looking at user's current PMs?

How can I trust my fractious heart

I don't think there are any exceptions to being below six months, but if I am wrong, sorry mods.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
Feb 02, 2009

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
338, but if I receive this responsibility I will surely be doubling that number in no time.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
1-2 hours on weekdays, and 4-6 hours on weekends, sometimes more. My school/work schedules have changed recently, so weekdays I can be on for up to 4 hours. Weekends I may be on up to 5-7 hours (typically I multitask during those spans with other sites I am working on though, so they are not solid hours).

Have you moderated on any other forums before?
I have moderated on two tutoring websites for my high school but cannot link to them because they are taken down each year. I currently am going to be a moderator for ParrotStix once it is open to the public. I manage my dad's business website. I am the creator, administrator, and a moderator of a growing site for my youth group.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, I enjoy the program and am knowledgeable enough to offer tips/advice about it.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
This is the first thing I do when visiting CS. I love admiring the range of talents this site has displayed.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I am a natural leader and love responsibility. I set high goals for myself and work my hardest to achieve them, especially if they affect others or the world around me. I can fully commit and accomplish any task I set my mind to. I dedicate myself to making sure people are working well together and are pleased with how things are being done that affect them. I try my hardest to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported. I enjoy building others up and quietly and quickly try to resolve conflicts. I understand that other have different view and opinions and respect them all. I try to give everyone a chance to explain their actions or a second chance, unless the act was so immense that they leave me with little choice but to refer them to a higher authority. I have little tolerance for bullies, cheaters, thieves, and liars. I can handle immaturity and can diffuse touchy situations well. I can maturely accept consequences of any degree but do not expect everyone else to be the same. I cannot be insulted easily and even then approach the situation carefully. I make sure I am confident, patient, understanding, and calm before I react to anything. I evaluate everything I do (and type) to make sure I am being clear, unbiased, and fair as much as I can. I offer advice often and welcome criticism; I am slow to anger and to judge. I rarely hold a grudge. I aim to give no person a reason to distrust me. I never neglect my values and strive for peace. I value friendship, loyalty, honesty, and patience. I appreciate all talents, styles, and opinions. I am extremely organized and work to achieve order. I do not mind doing hard work on small tasks. I am focused but not narrow-minded or excessively stubborn. I am open to suggestions, welcome advice from others, and seek approval from those in charge before doing anything I am unsure of if it may go against the set rules, conditions, etc. If confronted with anything I am unsure of how to handle, I will research the situation, look into all sides of the story, and ask a respectable person whom I trust for their advice. If I believe that, for some reason, I cannot remain impartial in something, I will willingly let another moderator handle it. I can recognize most art theft and will continue to keep an eye on possible repeat-offenders. I want to keep the boards clean and safe for all ages. My top priorities as an oekaki moderator would be to preserve peace, maintain order, keep an open mind, help others as much as I can, and to treat every member fairly and with respect.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
-I have worked with children (both instructing and watching over) for the past 5 years every Sunday.
-I am in 4 groups at school that work to build other up, promote safety awareness, help others, aid disabled (mentally and physically) persons, and to be an upstanding citizen.
-I am a leader/manager for 2 out-of-school groups.
-I will voluntarily give up my time, no matter how busy I am, to help someone cope with a situation or just be their friend.
-I am in gifted programs, leadership programs, and have had experience and training on handling difficult situations.
-On CS, I have reported several pieces of art theft. I always ask a mod before doing something that I am not sure completely follows the rules. I also am working on setting up a new guide on PPS to help players.
-I spend most of my time on the oekaki boards. If anythings needs done on there, I would surely be willing to do it immediately.
-I am very knowledgeable with the Oekaki and can help anyone with almost any question. If I do not know the answer, I will do as much as I can to find out as quickly as possible and learn something for myself too!

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
November 12, 2009. At 4:44
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
I've made 14506 (1160 of which were Oekaki Drawings.)
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I'm one CS, at least once everyday. Sometimes for a day or two, of nonstop...
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Now that school has started, I'll be averaging 4 to 5 hours. As homework will be getting a bit..much right now.
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Sadly, no. I have been a 'mini mod' though, as looked over forums for friends, at their asking.
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, all the time, It's how I spend that extra hour of nothing to do.
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Indeed I do, and I try and help others to improve their artworks, and normally peek about if people are getting a bit.. grouchy.
8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I want to be an oekaki Moderator for CS, because I believe it's a great position to hold. Being able to keep the Oekaki boards nice and spam free, as well as keeping fights from happening, or helping to stop them, when they do occur. As well as teh fact, I'm not easily insulted in the least, due to a..past of some slight issues with peers, though aside from home life, I'm a fairly good leader, and preasonable at sorting out any disutes that might arise. And..Well, I relaly just lvoe to hlep sort out problems, from life issues, to the art theft, to simply explaining a little something to someone to help them along.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I shall say, after reading the post, I saw that it seems apparent, you will make enemies, and must react calmly, no matter how people act towards you. I can say with a promise sealed with loyalty, I would never 'yell' at anyone, persay or get snappy, no matter how the other person was acting. I'm also fairly good at spotting a true 'art theif'..

I shall say this, I'mm sorry, for the fact I also applied to be a general helper, but I really do want to help out on Chicken Smoothie, somehow.. it's a little "CS dream."

...Is it okay if I perhaps edit this?

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)

November 3rd, 2010.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)

545 posts. Mainly, because I wasn't here for a few weeks because of a death in my family. I've made a lot more posts since.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

I come on everyday, and if I can't I usually try to come on. If I am on a vacation, I normally let everyone know that I am on vacation in my signature.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

I'm usually on 2-3 hours a day, if not, I do try to stay on for at least 30 minutes. I enjoy drawing in the oekaki board, so you may occasionally see my drawings there. ^^

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

Yes, I am currently a moderator for an upcoming site, called Kawaii Kiki. I'm also a co-admin/moderator for Zumbies.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

Yes, I draw there probably 2 or three times a week. I stink at art, but I am great with designing, so I don't usually draw there. But I do draw some of my great art there. I'm not a talented artist, but I draw occasionally pretty good.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?

Yes, I adore giving great criticism and complimenting the art pieces. I like roaming the intermediate board, to see the realistic drawings. I usually cannot believe some of the drawings in there. It boggles my mind.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

Well, I mainly enjoy being near the oekaki board. I'm always there looking at art work. You'll usually find me giving useful criticism, or complimenting drawings. I usually encourage drawings that aren't "exceeding" to give them confidence to keep working at their art talents. I'm a helpful person, and I enjoy helping. I'm caring and I'm very sensitive. I won't lie, but I do forget often about things. I don't get mad easily, so if something goes wrong in warning someone, I'll handle it calmly and maturely. I'd also love to work for CS, because it's such a popular and fun site to be on. I'm usually don't trade, because I'm attached to my pets, so I'm never really in the trading forums. Oh, and not to forget, like I said, I'm a great designer so I decorate my rares/very rares and my first ever CS pet, Rosie. But that's really it, even if my name isn't colored I still like redirecting people to the correct forum, and giving nice criticism and compliments to people. :)

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)

I can speak three different languages, such as Spanish, German, and French. Which I think it'd be pretty useful if a foreign player joins who's confused about the oekaki board.

APPLICATON
What date did you register as a CS member?: Sun Jan 03, 2010
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2734
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? All 7 of them ^^
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? around 3-4. I'm a bit of an addict
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: I co run a free confidential advice website with my friend in real life : http://adviceunload.webs.com/
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Yep many times! I'm quite experienced with the tools and which drawings I can post in intermediate.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: Yep. I love looking through all the intermediate pictures and giving advice on the Beginner forums. I always want advice on my drawings so I like to give it to others ^^
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I love to help out on the site and I feel if I'm a moderator, people will be more willing to ask me for help. I've recieved so much help over the time I've been here and contact with artist and moderators through my drawings helped me develop my art. If I can help someone achieve the level of art they want to achieve, It would be amazing for me! I love helping people which is why I initially set up the help website with my friend. Plus my favourite part of the CS forum is the Oekaki boards so I feel if I have a moderator job on any website, this is the moderator job I want!
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) As previously mentioned, I co-run a free advice website. I also spent two weeks working within a local school so I'm used to settling disputes. I also frequently view Oekaki boards, I feel I am experienced with evaluating pieces which are in the wrong boards (e.g. beginners piece in Intermediate) Oh and I'm okay with making accidental enemies. I'm not out to make sure everyones my friend. I understand if by doing my job, I'll get on the wrong side of people.

Thankyou for this opportunity! Good luck to everyone who applied! <3

(And I apologize for any typos. I had to type this in 5 mins and there was a lot to say!)
