As a user of 2009 I think this is a good change and I am excited to see the old equamagine horses I have change.
Particulrly I am super excited for my drafts and unicorns. And these:

Err, I only heard about the one stage (2nd, I believe) of the foxes being "traced".. but yet the adult lines are the ones being changed..? I don't understand the point of that ._. Just change the stage that has the traced lineart, not the adult.

I think the only stage that's going to be effected would be the ones that were traced. So I think the adult lines are actually staying the same.

I am so angry and unhappy that the changes are going ahead this sucks! I loved and will always love the equimagine line's even if she photoshoped them I dont care we are earasing an important change on cs and splitting the CS community up and i think the demand will drop...

I always found the equi horses a little bit too unrealistic for my taste

I agree with your statement about the Dafts. ^-^ They really are stunning and will be a wonderful addition to CS. Although, i personally love the old lineart. The thiness of it was my main reason for admiring it, however, I'm completely fine with this change. I'm very pleased to see it is going through as CS must mantain a great reputation while supporting the respect of photgraphers/artists, which they do amazingly. c:

would be the first one I hoard because of the lineart ^^

I counted through and there are only 26 drafts.. would be a lot of work for not releasing more of them? I mean.. making new lines and everyhing... just for 26 pets? they could have used the horse lineart
argh.. I just hope we really get some more >.< wishful thinking?

It was one of the first equi litters I remember liking when I adopted but then didn't like as much as the original claims of art theif came up.

ALSO looking forward to the billiard litter ;A; I want them all if they turn out good D;

There is a major legal issue with tracing pictures without referencing. If you read the last couple pages it talks about what could happen and cause a massive change. If someone was to make a legal claim CS would have 24 hours to get the offending matierial off which would be a complete deletion of all the equimagine pets. Try to think about waking up to that then a slow change and still seeing the designs around.

The staff is also creating new line arts to recolor some of the designs in. This is a big project. Try to be happy or at least open minded about it.
Demand also will not change and will probably go up based on the typical demand of Equi versus Yulyhn. I'm always on the trade forums and this is really what goes on c:

It would look a little weird if there was just one stage done by someone else, just sticking out in the middle of the sequence. It would probably confuse a lot of people.

Besides, you might want to read some of the earlier pages. Tess said that we may be able to adopt new fennec foxes on holidays and special occasions if the lines were all to be changed, since they would be brand new lines. Who WOULDN'T be excited for that? c:
