When you to edit your avatar it's right there. Or click the link Tess provided in the first post.

How to change your avatar with the new gallery:-
Click each step for an image example.

Step 1: Click on My Account > Click on Profile > Click on Edit Avatar
Step 2: Click on 'Pick from our avatar gallery'
Step 3: Select a catagory > Press go > Select your avatar by pressing the circle below it > Press Submit

This is now in the first post, each step has an image you can look at, now nobody should have any problem using the gallery.

I came online to come find these after I talked to my friend today. ^^ She said they were awesome, so I thought I'd take a look <3 Wow... I can't even pick which one to use first! I'll be sure to have a new avatar every day! XD Thank you-they're wonderful <33

Wow! I honestly don't know what to say! You have all put so much work into this! I have seen people changing their avatars from other websites to these!
