Yes exactly! Thank you, I'm so bad at wording.
Is that so? hm.
Any word from god on how the neutral votes are being counted? I can only assume counted towards yes?

And what makes you think it should be counted as yes? They should add the two, divide it in half, and add the number to both sides, so it's fair.

Ex: 12 Maybes, 30 Unsures = 12 + 30 = 42/2 = 21 added to each side.

I'm sorry for posting again, but I was thinking about it, and people need to consider that it shouldn't really matter how much they like the old lines. Actually, I like them, though I'm a bigger fan of Yulynh's, and I still support the change. Art theft is a much bigger deal than whether the new or old lines are prettier. Even if you still consider the old lines more beautiful and realistic, even if you like the variety, even if it was a mistake on Equimagine's part, even if they are CS history, that does not mean that they are not art theft. We need to support the rules of CS and make the change.

(I think these were one of my favorite pony batches actually. ^^)

I'm especially looking forward to this guy. >:D

I think these ones (and the rest of their 'litters') will look really cute though:

I'm assuming neutral votes are counted as mild 'Yes' votes, since the vote is mostly to see how many don't mind the change - if someone doesn't care either way (which is the 'Maybe' option), it wouldn't upset them to have the change go ahead as planned.

Like I said, it's what we do with our mistakes that truly defines us.

The ETP is a chance to truly rectify that mistake once and for all, which I think is great. c:

But then they also wouldn't mind if everything stayed the same.

Admitting to something doesn't make it right, you must correct yourself with change to truly move on.

My point is that she admitted to her mistake and she payed for it by leaving CS, so what is the point of bringing it back up? To shame her further? I just think it annoying that people are so quick so judge her and talk about her like she is a horrid person. I actually saw a CS staff member say earlier that her feelings don't matter anymore! How would that make you feel if you were the one being talked about? Yes, she made a mistake and a large one but why can we not just let it go? This is what drives me INSANE about people on CS, they will say anything! Please at least TRY to put yourself in their shoes before saying anything bad about her or her art I don't care what you saw today on this thread but I have seen people bash her and her art for what she did and people have even gone as far as to call her a disgrace, something which hurts me deeply and I did not even know her. I cannot even begin to imagine what she would be feeling if she saw even a fraction of the things that were posted about her today by simply rude and cruel people. Have you all NEVER heard of the phrase forgive and forget? I know she did something wrong but she still deserves to be forgiven. So can we possibly stop saying time and time again what a horrid person she is and how she was so stupid for copying the photos? (YES! I have heard people say things like that today!)

I'll end my rant now.

If I goofed on that level - speaking as an artist - I'd expect this kind of reception. c':

Like I said, I'm not out to attack equimagine personally. I don't bring this up to shame her, or to make her feel bad, even if she doesn't even come on CS anymore.

I'm bringing it up because it's still a problem. There's still lineart of dubious nature in use. Everyone agrees that it's not quite kosher, and yet it's still in use. It's a mistake.

With this switch, we get a chance to fix that mistake.

Not to shame equimagine, not to ruin people's CS experiences, not to bash on the old lineart. To fix a mistake. c:

We don't hate Equimagine.
We'll let it go as soon as it stops affecting us- as soon as the art gets removed.

Were I in her shoes I would demand my stolen work be removed and apologize to the people my action had negatively impacted immediately.
They/Them pronouns only.

Just because she admitted to it doesn't mean we should keep her plaigarised lines. And she chose to leave CS, she didn't "pay" by leaving CS, though correct me if I'm wrong. And we aren't judging her - we aren't bashing or hating on her, but we do want her lines removed because she traced them. Is it wrong of her to do that? Yes. But was it a mistake? Sure. But just because she admitted to it and just because she didn't do it maliciously doesn't give a reason to keep the old lines. So far the only logical reason for keeping them is for nostalgia or because they're "prettier".

And forgive and forget doesn't apply to crimes. Besides, the only way to forget is to move on from these lines, or in other words, remove them.
