i would just like to say i would be perfectly happy with the swap if the designs stayed exactly the same, maybe make new lines, not copied, that have longer manes than the current and have a similar tail type, then somehow select the coloring and copy and paste it onto the new one, might need to do some rezising but who said that this idea might be easy, ofcourse some of the desin would have corners choped off and some bits erased in order to fit the custom lines, that way the designs would be the same, the lines would be 'special' and hoard would still be worth because the lines are still 'special' and different. however many might not support this idea, im willing to adapt to an agreement some are not and i respect that but if anyone has an idea please post it, the two sides might be able to make a half way agreement ^^

I would be very warmed t the idea if yulghn would do a "special line" with horses different from her usual, to do the equimagine designs. im not saying she should draw equimagines again, but seeing as she is drawing new draft horses. if she could do a "special edition" with the equimagine designs on, then I wouldn't mind the change.

I would actually quite like that. I just wouldn't like the design from slender equimagines to go onto chunky yulghns. but the arabs offer a go between, with that I would b happy

You could probably screenshot all of the horses, use a google extension(I think I've seen one like that?), and then take some time to replace the ETP Yulynh lines with your screenshots of the old Equimagine horses.

I think using the Arabian lines is n excellent idea, and would make me happy with the change

If the lines weren't originally traced, then maybe more users would be unhappy with the change. I just don't see how a site that is SO clear with rules-

Copying/Tracing/Modifying/Claiming ownership of other peoples art/lineart:

If you copy, trace, or edit someone else's art (without their permission) this is considered a form of art theft.
Don't pretend to have made art which was actually made by another artist.
Don't trace or freehand copy another person's art, unless you have their permission.
Don't modify or edit another person's art unless you have their permission.

And also promote this topic, bring the equi lineart to a vote. I don't see how there isn't a clear and obvious decision.

No matter how much anyone prefers the old lineart, it was theft! Even if she accidentally used sketches that she traced, just because it was an accident, doesn't mean there is no copyright issue. If you accidentally hit someone else's car while driving, doesn't mean it's not your fault.

I know everyone's sick and tired of hearing this same post over and over, but it needs to be said. This is the sort of thing users may change their vote over, which is the whole idea of a debate.

They're referring to these lines. They were sold in the C$ store last year, and more closely resemble the old Equi lines. (arabians are a breed of horse, in case that was also unclear)

I agree, the arabian lines would be a happy medium between the two. Maybe having something to set the equi designs apart would help to please those who are upset about the change. ^^

tess hasn't stated this compleatly i dont think but it sounds definate they are changing the lines

One report and a lot of scoffing later, I read up to this page. I think the Arabian lines are a perfect in-between fix. Maybe it can't happen as they're store pets, but it'd be great if they moved some to that.
Also, is anyone saving the images? I'd like to help too, so PM me with your list of done ones. I'd be happy to help.
