if you don't meet the minimum criteria then you won't have a chance competing against all the other valid applicants. Do not apply unless you meet the criteria.

no it is not required, but I'm sure we'll give preference to people who've shown some interest in using or commenting in the oekaki boards in the past as those users will clearly be more suited to the position

I mean real moderating, mini-modding on a thread here does not count as moderating, that is just telling people what to do. Moderating involves actually editing posts, deleting posts/topics, delivering actual board warnings, etc.

no sorry, COPPA users wouldn't be able to apply unless they send in a signed parents permission slip allowing us to remove the COPPA protection

I would guess not, though it would probably be helpful to know your way around it.

approx 1 - 2 weeks depending on how many tests/homework assignments I have

it would help your application if you've shown you have some knowledge of how the oekaki program works (if you know how to use different tools, colour in linearts etc) but we don't care how good your actual drawing abilities are. It's not an art contest and the oekaki mods are not expected to submit art as part of their job
