I wonder if this will affect the rares list? I have a September list rat that turned into a OMGSR, yet he's still below a lot of VR dogs. Does the list ranking overrule rarities?

Oh it has, big time. XD The whole list is undergoing a revamp, so I'd keep hold of your OMGSR and wait for the list to be updated before trading it. We didn't realise how rare some of these pets were until now, so there's a few mistakes that will soon be fixed.

Through the years i have been on ChickenSmoothie i have seen so many updates that made the site even more great than it already was,i experienced the loss of 3 people in my life,yet CS always stayed.Through the good times and the really bad.And now i continue to see even more great updates and things happening.

The Rare's List is not official and will never be official. OMGSR pets are the most rare pets on site - irregardless as to what the List says.

I'm quite interested in seeing the finished revamp, myself. To see whether there will be more or less work for me in the long run as far as getting those dreamies! xD Im also curious to see if it will balance out some of those pets way down on the sept / advent lists that have been going for nons and such.

Darn, one of the trades I did yesterday where i traded one of my rares and a ton of uncommons for one rare just changed so that i traded 2 rares and a ton of commons for a rare. ugh. But one of my uncommon horses turned rare though so that's a plus!!

I'm on the fence about whether I like this or not.
On the one hand, I was pretty lucky and just collected almost all uncommon and under pets, and a lot of the last ones I collected were older uncommon. I think most of them turned rare as I moved like 250 dogs from my uncommon and under folder to my rare+ folder

On the other hand... Lots of monthlies are now almost worthless. And I feel bad for new players.

Guess we have to start respecting very commons and OMG so commons more now, huh :'D (I'm sure many of us used to think of them as nearly worthless trade-wise, but now so many pets are labelled as such we can't keep thinking of them this way, that would be silly)
After sorting my trade groups I really see the improvement, the rarity labels reflect the rarities I'd myself label them as basing on how often I see them
Also nickjr beat me to point out how the April rarity dogs changed rarities and the VC + OMGsc match up now instead, haha
