Things do change. Effort-wise, all of the pets will still be there with the same designs and whatnot. If it's an issue, you can hoard "Equimagine Designs" as Hekomi stated.

Sorry, just saying what I think. It is my personal opinion that the buckskin PPS lineart is really cute and I want it to stay that way, I'm not trying to say that Yulynhs lines are ugly, but just think about it. If they make it to where one of the most awsome looking pets suddenly looks like all of the others, it will seriously drop in value.

I don't see any possible way that making something special into something common and normal will bring UP the value. I have also never had the slightest bit of trouble trading off the original horse and pony lines^^

It is your opinion that equimagine's linearts look nicer than Yulynh's, so the argument of her line-arts being some of the best on the site is invalid. Not everyone agrees with you, so you have to consider that what you think may not be how everyone else feels.
It's not an opinion, however, it is a fact that equimagine's equines do not have very high demand. Why do you think that transforming her designs onto the more recent line-arts won't bring up the value of them? As the poll results stand now, over 50% of voters are for the change, so if the staff was to go through with this project, the value of the horses would increase as more members support the change than are against it.

I know what you mean, I'm in L O V E with the old line arts, there just perfect. Even though the new versions are like exactly the same the old ones have more hardcore to them cause of the shape

please, you have got to keep in mind most of these horads are formed because of the lines, change them and the point of the horad will be lost, these people may have traded rares for uncommons and so on in other words overpaid for pets simply because of their lines, its very inconsiderate just to get rid of them. i know like some have said that people should have pets for their designs but everyone had their own likes and dislikes,

also, on the subject of photos are art, im not as offended as it would be if they had copied off drawn art, thats what im trying to imply. i dont agree that its right, im just not as offended as some

The designs aren't different, they're the same. Some have been made a bit clearer to maintain the quality and consistency of CS pets. If people had a hoard in the old lines, they can still keep it, or trade it away. I love designs for their designs, not the lineart they're on.

That is what I meant by different, if CS is going to change the lines at LEAST keep the design looking like it did on the original horse or pony. And yes some people may hoard pets for their design but there are those that hoard for the lineart, like me. I hoard rats because it is a rat linear if they changed the rat lineart I would be furious and would quit hoarding rats. So you could at least try to think of those who do hoard them for the lines (;

noooooooooooooooooo!!! I prefer the equimagine to the newer horses to be honest. I think equimagine's look alot more alive and energised whereas yul....(can't spell it sorry) look more bored and rooted. the only thing I think look's better are the draft horses, I wouldn't mind if they changed. but in my opinion equmagines ponies and horses are still the best! draft horses im not bothered about.

I'm really beginning to worry about the changes, if tgey go ahead with it we will lose pets like the buckskin PPS...that is currently one of my dreamies but if it gets changed then it will no longer be cute or have any special meaning whatsoever. And if you think about it, don't you kind of enjoy the specialness of the equimagine horses and ponies? If they change it would totally ruin that...don't destroy their value.

On the same note, if they stay the same, demand for them may skyrocket because they will suddenly be different from everything else.

However, I think Tess said they may leave pets like the Buckskin PPS and the Rainbowmane alone.

I agree with this<3 the drafts have never gotten much love but the other lines are great!

Personally I think the redesign looks awesome since you can see the detail and it doesn't look smudged. While some people may hoard for the lines, it would be an unfortunate change for them, but overall I think it's still CS' best way to move forward. We leave behind a dodgy past while still keeping the old horses we love. Plus the horses will all be able to be dressed up and used to their full extent.
And please, there's no need to be snarky, your last sentence is rather abrupt.

its not the same is it? its like saying i hoard guineapigs then you put the design of a guineapig onto an owl and say here you will obviously love this just as much as the guineapigs you hoard ... it's the same! well no it's not, i know they will still be horses but they have changed i collected them because i loved the lines ...hoard ruined, not the same and with people thinking the same i cant just trade it all away. i have a few people offering pets on star (below) saying they loved the lines, i will not still have those offers anymore. im not saying i hate yulnhs lineart but i prefer the old one and i traded many pets frormy horses this is not the same ...

That's kind of a ridiculous analogy, since we'd never replace guinea pig lines with owls.

Also if the change were to go through Star's saddle could actually sit on her, instead of looking like it's hanging on her side.
