9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I was a class helper in one of my classes, and with two older brothers, my patienced has grown quite a lot thanks to them.
Looking for all 2010 staff litter dogs. Will possibly overpay.

APPLICATON

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) I have been a member of Chicken Smoothie since Jan 30, 2010.

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) I have 721 posts.

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I do not think there is a day that goes by with out me logging on at least once. So I would say about 7 days a week. Lots of things happen every day on Chicken Smoothie and I do not want to miss any.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I would say around two or more hours. Two at the very least. I usually log on a couple times a day and spend a lot of time each login. Chicken Smoothie is just so addicting and I never want to log off. :D

5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them No I have never been a moderater on any Chicken Smoothie forums but I have help answer questions for people,If that helps any, here are the links to some. x x I have also helped in the Chicken Smoothie Suggestions and Problems thread a couple times and membes have messaged me before and I have tried to help them as much as I could. I also used to be a moderater for one of my friends site, the site was a foopets fan club site. I would link you to it but we deleted it since foo went through a lot of changes and most of its members had to leave. But the site did have quite a few membes and there was forums and games and we both held a lot of compitions where we gave foopet prizes and so on. The site was very fun and I was a moderater for almost a year.

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes I have but only a few times, I have even made a mermaid editable with a lot of different layers like different tails, tops, hair, ect. I am not a good drawer but I do like to make things when I can and when it does not come out totally bad.

7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes I do. I love looking at other members art all the time. Everyone comes up with such different and interesting things I spend a lot of time there just browsing and likeing the art. I would say I spend a lot of my Chicken Smoothie time in the oekaki threads. I can not draw at all but I always have been fascinated with what others could come up with.

8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I would like to be a moderator for the oekaki forums because I like to help people who need the help. I spend a lot of my chicken smoothie time there anyways and I figure I can now use my time to help members. I am good at solving problems and very good at keeping my cool. I like to feel helpful and useful so if there is anything I can do to help others I usually try to help with the best of my abilities. When I first was a member of Chicken Smoothie things were a little confusing but I have always loved looking at all the art, I have always been very interested in the forum and I would just love to be a even bigger part in that thread since my drawing is not good at all. Being part of the art thread would make me feel part of the art without actually having to summit my art all to much. Chicken Smoothie is one of my favorite sites and it would just be amazing to be part of the staff that helps make Chicken Smoothie run the way it should.

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I am good at problem solving and when I was in high school so about two years ago I took peer consulting where I got to help my peers with their problems. It was a very fun experience and I got to learn all about helping people and not being bias one way or the other even if I knew some of the people I had to help. I think I would be very good helping people and giving them the help they are looking for. Also another good skill I have is not to rush in to things and take hard action right away. I always make sure I hear both sides of the story and find out all I can. Oh and the other thing I can being to the position is experence because as I said before I was a moderater with my foopet site. I am sorry I can not link you to it but I would say being a moderater there helped me a lot and it was really fun I would just love to be part of something like that again. Expecally with one of my favorite sites.

Just a small note I though you should knowI also would like to point out is my posts. Yes I do have over 700 but about half of those are bumps, I just would like to say if you picked me for this position I would of course post a lot more and let others get to know me and get to know my fellow Chicken Smoothie membes a lot more then I have in the past. If you look at my messages I do like to talk a lot so posting more should not be a problem for me at all. Also when I do post on others post I do tend to write a lot. I am very friendly and love talking to people. Thank you for reading my application I know you all have a lot to go through and I appreacate all your time.

Application

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: Late December, 2009
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 5,438 posts (Not including this post X3)
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Well, almost everyday. I love cs, and want to spend time on it. When school starts, i may not be on as much, but still should find the time to snatch a few hours to spend on cs.
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? About two hours on weekdays when school starts. On weekends, ill be able to spend at least 2 hours and a half.
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. I am moderating an adoption center, and i am starting my own. I made a website with a friend a long time ago, but it died a half-year later after i made it. Sometimes i go around cs and break out arguments, but not often since thats the mods job ^^
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, i love to draw. I may not be the best, but its something i love to do even if i have to admit im not good at it. I have made over thirty drawings, and will definitely make more.
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Almost every time im on cs, i browse through the drawings. Its interesting to see what people draw. I comment/like on a lot of drawings, even if they arent the best.
8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I love to help in every way. I know when i first joined cs, i wasnt very skillfull on thinking before i post. But i have calmed down and always spend at least five minutes proof-reading my posts to make sure their mature and not childish. I am greatful that Leurai is now an artist, and i still hope s/he can make more amazing art on the oekaki boards for us. But now that she is spending more time on cs for the pets, that means that someone needs to fill in her old possition. Thats what caught my attention; theres nopething better than making cs a better place. Even if i dont get this position, I will be happy for anyone who takes this position, and will always treat them like the other staff.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position. Well, im good at solving arguments and looking into what the both sides are doing wrong. I am calm, and mature, and can solve problems easily. I may not be good at drawing, but i know good art when i see it. Im not childidh, and dont use text talk.

Edit; Finished with the links

What date did you register as a CS member?:
September 26th, 2010
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
7513
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every day :3
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
At least two hours throughout the whole day.
Have you moderated on any other forums before?
Yes, a while ago I moderated a warrior cat forum. I wish I could find the link, but it eventually just died out. :c
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Ever since I've joined. :3
I occasionally will draw something. I love coloring linearts!

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
I usually at least spend a couple minutes brownsing at all the different categories. Even if I don't comment, I always read stories and like drawings and doodles. My favorite oekaki-ist is Apache~
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I love to help and reinforce rules! I am fun, but strict and I enjoy the oekaki very much :3 When I just joined, I did something I really shouldn't of done that gave me a warning. After that warning, I became wary and now I always love reading every rule. I am calm in situations, even if I stress a bit: I never show it. I also have a positive outlook to life. Although I am strict, I don't try to be torturable, while still being able to make a point.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I am an official peer mediator at my school and help younger kids out during my lunchtime instead of eating with my friends. I have all the training and steps to most scenarios and am comfortable in different situations I am put in. My aunt is a therapist and has also taught me different therapy tequniques etc. I can also speak and understand French, just in case and know a bit of Dutch :3

Thanks for considering me for this position! Best of luck to everyone who tried for this opening!

Application

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: Wed. October 14, 2009
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2392
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? All the days. I practically live here and rarely ever go a day without checking updates at least once.
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Honestly, it varies but I try to spend as much time on here as I can, ranging anywhere between three to eight or more hours. Most of the time I prowl around the forums and read the comments x3 I almost always have a tab open to CS so that I can flip back and forth from here to anywhere else.
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. Alas, no. I'm always depressed whenever I join a different forum because it isn't quite the same as CS and doesn't hooked me in quite like it has.
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Heck yeah xD I've done more digital drawings here than any other place that I can/could. I enjoy drawing on it more than Photoshop or sketchers and often turn to it first to get a drawing in.
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Oh yeah. I love seeing all the art that everyone else has done, the variety of styles between artists, different perspectives that are taken, the whole shabang. It's so interesting for me as an artist to literally see into one's soul through their art.
8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? Because I love CS and art, and I desperately want to help protect and enforce. I want offer my assistance to the CS body as a whole- to be able to assist new oekakiers, to keep the oekaki boards clean and organized, protect the younger COPPA'd users from inaproppiate pieces of art, to bring peace within arguments, to stop any and all kinds of art theft, to be an example to users, and assist in anyway possible. I'd like to stand by Fiery Gatoh and monitor the boards to bring peace, justice, and kindness to CS. Why do I want to be an oekaki moderator? Because I dearly love CS and I love art, never do I see myself growing tired of either. I would absolutely love to be blessed with the position of oekaki moderator. To be an oekaki moderator would be an indescribable honor, to anyone who is chosen.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I do not believe that I have discovered my "life-changing-peoples-skill"; however, I will professionally approach any difficulty that stand in the way of moderating. I can react cooly and calmly to rage, handle pressure well, and mend fractures within discussions.

Thank you, Tess, so much for offering such a position ^^ You have no idea how much it means to me.

APPLICATON
What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
I happily registered as a Chickensmoothie member on Thursday December 30th, 2010 at 3:25pm Eastern time, and I'm glad I joined!
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
As of this moment, I have made 3,411 forum posts, and counting. ;)
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I am on Chickensmoothie every day, which makes 7 days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I am usually on Chickensmoothie between 2-7 hours a day, depending on what my day's schedule is, sometimes more.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
No unfortunately I haven't, even though I have always wanted to.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, and I love it! It is so much easier than photoshop. I may not be good at digital art yet, but I just got my tablet, so I am learning. :)
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, all the time! I love seeing the different styles presented by many artists, and I like watching users I recognize become better and better with each drawing they make. I also love seeing the many drawings that are based on CS pets, and how amazingly others interpret them in their own ways.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
To be a member of the Chickensmoothie community has already made me feel complete, everything from the amazing users, to the kind and helpful staff! I want to give back to the Chickensmoothie members, to help them and help Chickesmoothie run smoother for everyone, and to stop art theft. That is a major reason. I have seen great artists be copied, on many websites, and I can only try and imagine how it must feel, spending so much time on a piece you've become so proud of, to only have someone else take the credit for it. I think that art theft needs to be prevented as much as possible, and I would like to help.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
A few years ago, my school system just introduced peer mediation, and I was volunteered by others well after the program started, because they believe I could make a difference. I didn't believe them until I accepted, and actually had the ability to help. I saw my friends, not-so-much friends, and my fellow classmates, and they were not happy with the situations they were in. I grew to respect the program, and would often meet with my fellow mediators to discuss ways to handle different possible situations in which I would need to act. We put together a slide show for future mediators, in hopes that they can help their classmates as well, just like we did. I added an extra part to the slide show, about dealing with aggressive anger towards the mediator. There were many times I was yelled at, screamed at, and sworn at, but I had no urge to yell back. I instructed the future mediators to wait until the person has finished, and then calmly resume the session.
I am also currently a member of the Rachel's Challenge Club in my school, which is all about helping others, and putting an end to bullying. We also do many fundraising activities, and show younger grades how bullying really affects others. In addition, I am a National Honors Society member. The National Honors Society is an exclusive group of students from different schools who show academic excellence, citizenship, leadership, determination, and a strong desire to help others. I had to work hard to be in the NHS, and put in a great amount of time to achieve it. Being a part of NHS is serving your community, and the communities of others, and I believe Chickensmoothie applies as well. :)
(Not sure how much it helps, but I can speak Spanish.)

I understand I have typed up a lot here, and I apologize profusely for the abundance of words, but I feel I have a lot I can contribute to Chickensmoothie, if I get the chance. I would also like to take this oppurtunity to congratulate Leurai to becoming an Official Artist :) You deserve it! I would also like to wish the best of luck to all entering, and to the staff for judging. I know you will make a great decision, and I can't wait to see who is chosen. :) Best of luck to all!

1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
September 4th, 2009.

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
3483 posts.

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Seven days a week generally, unless I'm on holiday or very ill of course.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
At least three hours generally, sometimes more. I tend to spend certain 'chunks' of time on CS, instead of just the whole few hours at one time (if that makes sense!)

5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
I owned 'H10.2', a horse sim game origanaly designed by horsy1050. link
I've also just been accepted as a moderator on a DA equine group: Artists of Equus

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, many times. It's how I origanly got into digital art. I know my way around chibi-paint pretty well by now.

7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes, most days I have a browse through the oekaki boards, commenting and criting works. I spend quite a bit of time there, looking at other's art work.

8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Digital art is something I enjoy greatly, but I'd never really done any of it before I found CS (and thus, the oekaki). I sure many people have experiencd this, but of course, when you start, things aren't always as easy as they sound and look. I want to help those people, like people helped me when I first came. Being who I am, seeing art theft, rude comments or even art on the wrong board makes me want to get involved and clear the problem. So, as I have spare time on my hands, I might as well do something productive with it, so being an oekaki moderator would really satisfy me.

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
• I can speak basic french, and I'm currently getting to know variouse other languages.
• I usually stay calm in arguments and and look for both sides of it.
• If people get angry with me, and start sending rude messages, I usually delete them and forget about it, or send a curt and calm reply back.
• I try to be fair when commenting on art too: I give art I personally like a nice comment, but if I can see a peice that could be improved, or the artist wants crit, I'll give the person some tips.
• I use other art prgrams too, so I can sometimes help people if they're stuck with another art pogram or need some advice.
• I'm always trying to be positive, helpful, calm and maybe hopelessly-humorous! I really hope this shows through, and should I get this job, I hope I can put it to even better use.

Thanks for this opportunity.

if you don't meet the minimum criteria then you won't have a chance competing against all the other valid applicants. Do not apply unless you meet the criteria.
