What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
November 6, 2010.
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
4095.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Normally 5-7 (5-6 on a busy week; 7 normally.)
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
It really depends on the day or if I'm drawing or just checking my pets; I can't really give a concrete answer on that. xD But I would say anywhere from two to four hours.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them.
I've moderated a few threads on CS before:
Morphers, Foximps, Chinchillas
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, I have; I've only posted a few pieces to the public but I practice with the program quite a bit.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes! I love browsing the Beginner and Intermediate boards and looking at the talent there. Sometimes I post on threads I like, but for the most part it's just looking and admiring.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I would like to be an oekaki moderator for CS because I love drawing on the oekaki, I love spending time on those boards, I love viewing other people's work, and I love helping other users. One of my favorite aspects of CS is the Oekaki, and a good portion of my time on CS is spent browsing or drawing there. It would be great to be able to help that part of CS. I've thoroughly read the requirements for the job and the rest of the topic, and I understand what the position entails and I think I could handle those obligations.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)
I have a lot of experience with children and keeping them in line. I understand the importance of always handling things in a polite, unbiased manner, and in regards to the internet, I know when to back away and count to 10 before posting a reply. xD I understand the rules of the oekaki and have read them often enough to be very familiar with them. I am comfortable with the oekaki program, and I am confident that I could help others with problems they might have in that area.
Thanks for reading ^^
