What date did you register as a CS member?:
September-23-2010. I used to share a account with my friend before this, but then got so into I had to make my own. To keep it fair she changed her password, and now we both have accounts but I have been on longer then when I made my own (this) account.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
21,556 I am sure it will go up a lot more after this, but this it what it is for now. I do a lot of role playing with so great friends and many other things.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:
I am normally on everyday. The only time I am not on is when I am out of town or for some reason do not have Internet. Because of the way my school work, we get laptops to use during class so I can get on and help at anytime.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
Let's see I don't really ever get off of it, I may sit is down for a bit and then get back on. I would have to say I would be on at the least 2-10 hours a day. I get really bored and this is a fun place to spend time, like today because of the rain where I live.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
Let's see I am on a lot so that will make it fast for me to answer others when they need help. I also know a lot about the forms and what you can do with them, and know how to use things that will help with other languages and any other thing needed. After trading for a long time I would say I am good at it, but when trading it really if the other person thinks its fair so you just have to work with them. I know the rules and what is fair on the dot, but like I said there are a lot of things in trading and they are always changing so you have to keep up.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I love to help other people and do it in my everyday life with voluntary work. That is one of the only reason also I am not on here is because sometimes I work at a horse therapy farm. I love helping others and wished there was someone to help me when I first joined, it took me forever to learn how to do things. I also think that helped me because then I learned other things on the way, sometimes the best way to learn is by trying, trying, and trying again and again.

All 7 days, even if I'm ill.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
At home, generally, I am on CS about 8 hours per day. Currently, I am visiting my hospitalized grandmother, but since the staff will need a few weeks to pick out the General Helpers, I'm 98% sure that I'll return home by then in two and two-thirds weeks, on the 30th of August, I believe.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
Although I'm not really active on the oekaki as much as before, I know how to do lock-alpha, the layers, and most other things related to it. I can teach others if they have any difficulties with ChibiPaint. I know how to resize the oekaki piece, make it transparent, and I am familiar with all the tools and options in the program.

I also speak quite a few languages, such as Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and Korean, but my mother tongue is English. I'm good with pet worth in C$, and I'm quite familiar with the Rares List Guide. I also am a part of noleah's "Adopt a Newbie", and my assigned user and I have become buddies. I usually help her with trades and pet rarities.

I own three dogs, and I used to own two parakeets, and I train them; I have a very even temper and I am patient. I do have to train one of my dogs, a beagle, over and over again, because his breed is classified to be, quite frankly, very stubborn.

On a level of 1-10 in BBCode, (1 being knowing the least amount of information, and 10 the opposite of 1) I'd say I'm around an 8. I know how to add images, resize them (with another program, then add them into the forum post), and I am also very familiar with all the tools in the full editor in the forum post. (ie; bold, italic, underline, quotes, codes, listing, images, linking a url to a piece of text, font size, color, alignment, etc.)


Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I enjoy helping others. It actually pleases me to help people, and it makes me feel good to know that I've made a difference in the community and I've changed someone's knowledge about the site. Whenever I receive a message from someone I don't know, or even someone I'm familiar with on CS, I feel pleased because that person has asked me to help them out with something. I try to answer them with all the knowledge I know about the topic. I'd love to give back to many kind users that have helped me to get where I am now, and I'd loved to be remembered as one someday, too. (:

I am quite a friendly person and have already been PMed for help before. I also have much experience with the site an have always dreamed of becoming a helper, staff or not. I am quite a funny person and get along with most people I meet, while I am also smart. I am quite a talkative person and find it easy to describe things, which makes it easier for people to understand what I'm saying. I understand the oekaki completely, even though I don't draw there anymore (I use gimp, which is quite like it) and I'm not short tempered. I am very patient and friendly. I spend most of my time on the computer on this site, if not, all my time on the computer.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Since I joined, I've wanted to be part of the site that I love. In fact, lately I've been checking the forum for job applications. I have referred over 10 friends to the site.

I'm on 7 days a week unless I have something to do either homework or i'm on holiday. Normally I will try to be on 7 days a week. I also will donate some of my time to help out even if it means staying up a bit later.

It depends, weekdays I'll now be on about 2-4 hours now that school has started again and on weekends maybe at the least 5-7 hours at the most.

I can speak a little bit of French and alot of English. I'm quite good in trades and know if it's fair or not. I answer ALOT of questions from my friends like with oekaki not to long ago I helped a friend with the layers, lock alpha , and shading details. I know now after all the time playing here on CS how to work many things incoulding the trading system , and the oekaki + Many more things!
I also love to help out and I've changed a whole lot now that I'm older. I have more patience and I will wait for person to get the idea of what to do even if it means repeating it again , and again and again.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I want to be a General Helper because I love to help people learn new things there not to good at knowing how to do , like I did not to long ago , now I know so much I want to help out others with questions and try my best to help others. I know many things and don't mind reapeting things over and over and over again because it's helping out other users that don't get what others or saying or myself. At school my teacher always put me as helper in math if people were sick that day I would help them catch up on the work they missed out on and reapeted many thing to them over and over again so they would get it. Also I'm a very friendly person and have always wanted to help out with others. A few times here people have asked form y help and I always seem to anser then correctly because theyh seem to get it. I have helped many people with there lives here on CS and they seem to apprecate it even one member said "Thank you for your help!". So this is why I would love to become a member of the team and help others out through the toughness of learning about trading , oekaki and plenty more. I'll also donate alot of my time helping out others because , well I guess I'm a really helpful person. I'm easygoing and I don't mind reapeating things over , and oevr and over again , I'll just wait for the person or persons to get the idea of what I'm trying to help them with and then carry on with what I was doing before. I might not be on as much next month , for school is starting again and I iwll be having to do homework , I will be on for my regular hours wich all depends on how much homeowrk I get. If I don't get any I will be on CS in a heartbeat helping out the people who need help. I would really like to become a General Helper because it would be a honer to get this mark in the team helping out all the people here on the site that need it.

I visit CS everyday to check the threads I'm active on, my PMs and my trades.

On weekdays, I'm on 3-7 hours whereas on weekends I'm able to be on CS 10-15 hours if not more if i stay up.

I am able to speak Chinese and English fluently as well as speaking French quite well. I'm studying German at school at the moment too but I also enjoy learning new languages that current and new CS members can bring to the community. 
Although I haven't had any training in the field of peer mediation I have skills that mirrors those needed in peer mediation, I can listen carefully to people and be able to draw an unbiased judgement. I also have a very comical side to myself which means I can approach tasks with an optimistic view. I don't consider myself a trade-expert necessarily I can trade quite well and fairly and understand he basics of trading and rarities. I have a good knowledge of computers ad how oekaki works as well as most other art drawing program's such as SAI, Photoshop, GIMP and Sumo Paint as well as how to work tablets which could help new artists and build the CS art community. I also have a lot of interests and have been through a lot of different emotions for my age and I can empathise lots of different people of try ask me for help. I also like the the GMT timezone which means I can be online when some of the EST helpers are offline and therefore can answer questions quickly and efficiently.
  
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
My main reason for signing up is to prove that the younger generation on CS can be mature and can help other people. Another reason that is also high up in my list is that I want to show and help other people around this wonderful site. I also want a chance to see what new types of people sign up and show them around. I also really enjoy helping people and helping them to make the most of the site. I feel like this job is also a grey opportunity to gain some more people skills and skills that can help me when I am older and I can say that I had already developed these skills when I was young because, the more information you take in as you're young the more useful it'll be to you as an adult.

I can speak some French. I was a peer mediator in school and I have been a volunteer at my local YMCA for 7 years with their after school program. I am used to working out problems and helping people with any questions they have. I usually venture to the "CS problems and suggestions" board, but I never really post because the questions are usually answered. I would say I am very good with trading and trade values because I have been here for a while and I know my way around the forum. The only thing I am not familiar with is the Oekaki board. I have seen current general helpers help out and I can use the search function to find the answers to common questions.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
In real life, I am a good helper. I have helped out at school and at work volunteering at the Y for seven years. I have always wanted to help with whatever problems seem to come my way. I am going to college for Early childhood education and I am always wanting to give back to the community I am a part of, whether it is in real life or over the internet. A community is a community no matter how small. I like helping newer members and older members who just have a question. I have had people PM me before asking questions and I do my very best to help them, whether giving them a straight answer or pointing them towards someone who does have the answer. I am friendly to everyone and I have never had a problem with another member. Thank you for this opportunity.

Not to sound obsessed with this site but I'm on pretty much on 24/7. Since all of my summer sports are done and I have no homework. But when school starts again I'll still be but not til around 3:00-3:30.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:

I speak Spanish, but I might use Google translate for other languages. I can also give advise about trades involving the rare's list pets. When it comes to forum, trade and personal message questions I'm very helpful. But I'm not very good when it comes to oekaki.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:

Because I love helping. Plus it seems like I'd get more chances to help people more often. I'd also to be a general helper because I can meet new people and make new friends.

I spend approximately 6-8 hours on CS daily.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

Respect and courtesy. I have experienced things in the past that have improved my attitude greatly, of which to the point where I am very bright and respectful. I have a sharp wit and laugh easily; which is considered one of my best features.
I use to work with Special Ed children, daycare and elementary schools, so I cooperate well with others. Everyone has a dark side though - few times can I be strict and straightforward, but I promise to be calm, patient, and courteous at all times, as long as I am not pressured to the point where it is out of my comfort zone and too much to handle.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Not only is filling an empty General Helper position an excellent accomplishment, but a sense of proud and completion. Although past incidents and events have occurred in the past, I have moved on to a healthier and proficient side. I joined three years ago, meaning I wasn't as mature because of younger age and lack in knowledge. However, I have grown to realize the importance in building a beautiful and educated community filled with users of all ages. Because of that, I have learned to respect everyone I come across to, regardless of age or attitude. Before many things interrupted my ability to surf the internet, I frequently greeted new players to the forum and asked questions on a daily basis, whether it be asked from PM or the Help & Suggestions board. I enjoy helping everyone, especially guiding new users around CS. I love the feeling afterwards - it lets me know that I have successfully helped improve young knowledge in the community - not to mention completing the desired tasks given, whatever they may be.
Now that I am able to start venturing through CS again, I will continue to set out on my duties, which is helping players all around. I guarantee to remain honest, kind, and bright throughout my entire time on CS. I promise to be respectful and patient in all situations. I will uphold this position with pride and gratitude - and most importantly, do my job to the best of my ability.
