What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)I registered for Chicken Smoothie on Sunday October 10, 2010 at 4:08 PM. although i had many pets without an account, before i thought it was unbearable to not have a real account. :)
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 825, at the moment!
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? usually every day, unless i have no internet or Wi-Fi access.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? hmm... mabey 12 hours? xD lol i am on CS a lot! sometimes i am on my phone, checking trades. PMs, and browsing forums, and sometimes on a real computer, making Oekakis and other things.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. nope, but i think it would be a very fun job! :)
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? oh yes! many times before, and many times to come!
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? yeah, when i have no topics to reply to or anything, i usually post there on how amazing peoples artwork is! :o
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? well, i know what it is like to be COPPA'D! i was always annoyed on how long it took for my posts to actually be posted. when i became a non-coppa'd, i was like, "oh, hey!" when i realized how fast it was. :) anyways, it would be a very fun job. i have seen conflicts between members, and sometimes, (only sometimes) i try to stop them from fighting, but then i say to myself, "don't be a mini-mod! they wont listen to you, your just a regular user!" so i don't.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) well, i can handle things well. my little brother gets pretty angry sometimes, and hits people (me too) but i tell him to quiet down and to stop. i do get a little angry sometimes, to be honest, but i try my hardest to stay calm. that is my brother, though :) i babysit sometimes, and i always watch over the neighborhood kids. i live in a cul-de-sac with a whole bunch of kids! me and my friends watch over them outside.
i can no longer be active on CS :c
all of my characters have gone to a friend. (squiddking on most sites)
thank you CS for a good long run, i will never forget you <3

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply): October 17th, 2009
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply): 709 posts.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Every day of every week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS on a day that you do visit?: Usually a range of 4-6 hours per day.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: I have never wanted to on any sites other than CS.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Twice... both attempts were unsuccessful. Digital art is not for me.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: Absolutely; I enjoy admiring the work of others and I try to learn from their style and technique. I offer advice whenever I can (though my advice in terms of digital artwork is limited...).
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?: I would be able to do something useful with my hours of CS time and I would help to decrease the burden of work upon the moderators. It would also just be very fun to browse through the artwork!
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?): I do not enjoy any rudeness or harsh language and I try to avoid it whenever I speak online or off; as a result of my spurning of obnoxious language, I have a large reserve of patience as well as an even temperament. I can be equally firm, but I do not shout or impose my opinion upon others. I do not, however, have any experience in mediating as a position or job.

I keep six honest serving-men
(They taught me all I knew);
Their names are What and Were and When
And How and Why and Who.
I send them over land and sea,
I send them east and west;
And after they have worked for me,
I give them all a rest.

I let them rest from nine till five,
For I am busy then,
As well as breakfast, lunch, and tea,
For they are hungry men.

But different folk have different views;
I know a person small~
She keeps ten million serving-men,
Who get no rest at all!
She sends 'em abroad on her own affairs,
From the second she opens her eyes
One million Hows, two million Wheres,
And seven million Whys!

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) Sun Feb 21, 2010 2:34
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)3917
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Around 6-7 days a week, it depends if my computer is taken away, but it rarely happens.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? When there's school, around 3-5 hrs. Summer is about 8 hrs.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Nope haven't, I have just mini mod some links, but I'm sure that doesn't count (if it does then I'll post them.)
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Of course, I love drawing on the computer, even if I am horrible at it.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes, I enjoy commenting on pictures, and just looking around at some art people have created
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? It has been a dream to be a member of the team. I wanted to go for the General Helper, but I didn't have the time to post on it. So this looked like a great opportunity, to take a try at a Oekaki Moderator. I have seen color in's that have broken the rules, and tell the person the rule(s) they have broken, to help them not get the topic locked.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)I know some-what of Korean, Spanish, and German. But I'm not the best at all the languages, but like I said I know some-what of all three languages. I don't take sides in a arguments, but I will figure out the problem and the solution, or I'll try my best at it ^^

                            I said, people

We're all looking for love tonight

But sometimes we can't see it

                            We're blinded by light

And we all get low, all get low

Searching for that piece of mind

                            Just when I've given up

                            Looking for some kind inside

{{. I love me some barrel racing.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
June 17th, 2010

How many posts have you made in the forum:
2865

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
seven :3

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
4 hours Mon.-Thurs., 5 hours Friday- until volleyball ends, 12 hours on the weekend day that I don't work, and 8 hours on the day that I do (these alternate from Sat. to Sun. nearly every weekend)

Have you moderated on any other forums before?
nah

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

very much XD

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
yup. Very often.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

- Primarily- I love art and everything about it.
- I would really enjoy to add my bit, no matter how small it is, to helping CS. I could finally have an excuse to sit on my laptop all day on CS other than the fact that it's fun :P
- I think it would be awesome to preview the posts of new members, also...and sometimes maybe send them a welcoming PM :3
-I have also been in pretty heated fights (on other sites - I've been involved in a few arguments here, but nothing serious) and I know that it never ends well. I think that it would bring a feeling of self-achievement for myself if I was able to keep someone warning free.
- I would very much like to make the forum spam-free and help guide topics to their correct places.
- I know my way pretty well around the Oekaki boards, and I think that I could really help with moving something to the correct place and giving them some constructive criticism that would help them in the future for when they want to try more advanced stuff.
- I have had plenty of problems with my computer responding to Oekaki stuff, or with layers, or tools not working the way that I think they should and I am confident that I can solve almost any problem that may reveal itself among that. I know that this last one...or maybe the last couple comments sound a bit like I am saying 'I can do this well - so pick me,' but I don't really know how to word them to make them sound otherwise...because I mean that I would love to help people with those things...not that you should pick me because of this. I think I just repeated myself a bit XD

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
- I consider myself an artist. Not a very good one, but I think that that would help, at least a little :3
- I have the capability of remaining calm and kind throughout a conversation, if it is making me frustrated or not
- I don't like to take sides.
- I consider myself an all-around friendly person. I don't know if this really helps, but I jut thought I'd add it :P
- If it is something important, I will usually read over and possibly re-read over something that I am saying to make sure that it looks right.
- I'm learning very rudimentary levels of Spanish this year in school, if that helps anything XD

What date did you register as a CS member?: July 29th, 2009

How many posts have you made in the forum: 4825

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Seven, the only time I'm not able to be on seven days a week is when I'm vacation, or I'm incredibly busy with school/family/friends. [Which is very, very rarely]

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: About two-three during the week, and sometimes more than that on the weekends. It depends on how much schoolwork I have.

Have you moderated on any other forums before?: No, I seldom go on other forums.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Yes, I have total of 322 pictures in my gallery. I've entered contests, colored editable oekakis in, and drawn my own artwork using the oekaki program.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: Yes, I love spening a while looking through all the oekaki so I can see what the people of CS draw. It's fun to see all the creativity people bring to this site.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?:
I want to be an oekaki moderator for CS because I want to help the CS community run smoothly. Ever since I joined this site, I've wanted to offer any kind of help I can. I'm a [somewhat] old member of Chickensmoothie, and I've seen the things that can go on. Helping Tess, Nick, the moderators, and everyone in general would be awesome, and being an oekaki moderator would be a wonderfl opportunity. I would feel like I'm doing something important with my life, having a responsibility like moderating CS.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I have a nearly nonexistant temper, so I would be able to handle explosive rage/flaming/quarrels/etc. without becoming irritated or being bias. My teachers also compliment me on being an efficient and satisfactory worker. When it comes to fighting among my friends, I'm generally the peace-maker, and I think I would be able to settle arguments between people in mature ways.
I also consider myself one of the younger members of CS, so I would be able to handle immaturity well since I was once immature and head-strong.
-
Thank you for considering me, and thank you for this wonderful opportunity. Good luck to everyone applying!

What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) Thursday, January 6th, 2011
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 2107
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 6 (I only go on Sunday Nights)
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? At least 3
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them I have owned a website: http://girlssafeplace.webs.com/
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, I have a very cartoonish style.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes, me and my little sister do all the time
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I want to be an oekaki member for CS because , honestly, I love CS! I think it would be such a great opportunity to help out with it!!! It will also give me more time to admire the drawings of all the wonderful artists of CS.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I look at the boards just to admire the art, I am often known as the peace-maker, and I have my own laptop so I can get on a lot.

Other important things about me that may be Positive or negative:
I have had an art-theft warning but I sent an email to Tess trying to clear it up, and I know the rules said unless you've cleared it up with a mod.
I get guilt very easily, this won't stop me from doing the job right but I may feel guilty afterwards (Don't worry I get over it quickly!)
Thank you!

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
    Sun Aug 29, 2010

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
    8526

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I visit every day, unless I have a Cross Country meet or some school related activity. Even so, I have access to my phone and the like and am able to be on moblie, as well.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
It's not as much as I'd like it to be. Typically, about three. Weekends a considerable amount more.

5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
    Oh goodness..well, I have in the past. They were little proboards roleplay sites. But that was quite a few years ago, and I'm afraid I can't provide links because I seriously don't remember..^^;

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, I have! I enjoy the simplicity of it, but I've never considered myself truly good at it..I've been trying more recently, but what with school and such, I haven't had the time to sit down and get serious about an oekaki.

7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Of course! That's one of my favourite things to do on CS. The art on this site is what brought me to it in the first place. It's amazing to see just how much effort people can put into a beautiful piece using the oekaki.

8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I've been drawing for so many years now. About four, and it started with just little Warrior Cat doodles here and there. Now I've actually sold some pieces for my schools sales, and have entered my digital work in GIMP in my State Fair - winning second place.
I love art and everything about it. I'm involved in the graphics design class at my High School, and am a member of the Art Club. Basically, drawing and being creative is a very big part in my life. I can hardly go a day without doing something, be that even just the smallest doodle on my notes.
Moderating would be something I do consider myself capable of. I am level headed and know how to deal with an arguement calmly without getting worked up. This is merely the internet, and I'm much better dealing with others on here than I am in real life.
Being a staff member of CS is always something I have wanted to do. Ever since I joined about a year ago, I've been nosing throughout those boards and admiring the work. Being able to contribute and help any member with some sort of technical problem would be great for me.
I know the rules of the website, and if something violates it I'd realize that from the get-go. Art Theft is something I've had happened to me - not on this site, though. I understand how every artist would feel having their work copied, reproduced in a way they didn't intend, ect. It's not a fun thing to deal with.
Overall I think it'd be a productive and rewarding role on Chicken Smoothie, which every staff member has a part in.

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I've recently had club sign up, and one of the first stands I went to was the Key Club. This is a group that helps the slower students of my school with different projects, art included. I know it can be frustrating to deal with some people, and I'm always considerate in that sort of department.
I do classify myself as an artist. I'm more traditional-scan it-GIMP it, than going freelance in oekaki, but art is art, yes?
I tend to explain things rather well - I'll screenshot things, and do my research on issues involving different problems with whatever it is the situation calls for.

Thank you for another wonderful opportunity! Good luck to everyone! ^^
