How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1974
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Unless there is tons of stuff to do, normally 7/7 days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 6-7 hours, I normally have nothing else to do.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them I was a moderator of the now-inactive site, http://robodragonworkshop.myadopts.com and an owner of the also-inactive site http://aquarinus.myadopts.com ,which is inactive due to the fact that nobody was interested.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, I have a page or two of terrible art which I try to improve a lot.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? I do that all the time, and notice that the best artworks are often ignored.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I would like to be an oekaki moderator to keep the oekaki clean of inappropriate content and to be sure the rules are in place. This is a children's website, and if one wanders on to the oekaki and sees something they shouldn't that'd be bad. Shock trolls do happen, unfortunately, and need to be removed immediately. I have experienced a shock troll, as have a few others, on a certain thread, and I want to prevent that from happening, or bring it down to a minimum. Although I wouldn't be able to fix everything, I would try my best to. I would also try to help newer users who ask for it on the oekaki, or just in general.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) My peers always come to me to help fix their arguments and problems, and I usually do, if that counts.
hi I'm gay and do art, message me if ur interested in examples or commissions

Yeah, it is my main drawing source, I have a lot I haven't submitted, but I love it, a lot :3
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I would like to be a Mod because in general, I love to help, critisize (if wanted), collab, enjoy, or just make art. If anyone needs help, I try to help if I see it, this would also help point out I'm here to help anyone in need. I help people remember the rules, but I try not to be hardship, but not sound too soft, if that makes sense. If you picked me, it would be a great honour and people would know I'm here to help
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
Well I like help solve problems, even arguments of stolen species / buildings (minecraft) I think I could be of help to anyone who needs it

How many posts have you made in the forum: 3347
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: 5-6 / 7; i am typically busy at least one day out of the week
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? i am likely to spend several hours on chickensmoothie; approximately 3 or 4 on weekdays, and 5 to 6+ on weekends.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them N/A
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? yes, multiple times, as you can see in my gallery. it used to be the art program i used solely for art before i began using photoshop cs5.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? i actually do, seeing as i do not use oekaki much anymore to draw, i like to see what kind of art can be made with the program.
Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? art really fascinates me, and i know many users on chickensmoothie use the oekaki program to draw all of their digital artwork. i would very much like to become a moderator because i would enjoy helping anybody trying to learn to use the program, or even advance their artistic abilities. also, i like that the chickensmoothie community is for all ages, and i would like to keep it that way, in the event of any inappropriate art or posts being posted on the oekaki boards. if there comes a need for my services as a moderator, calm action would be taken to sort out the issue proposed and to remove the content.
since i browse the oekaki boards on a daily basis, it has come to my attention that many users will post, most often, in the wrong section of the forum. as a moderator, i would help in fixing this problem, as well as covering all other facets of moderator duties.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: i have had basic experience using the oekaki program, but i work extremely well with others and have had a few courses on art, as well as managing my own art shops on the forum.

thank you for the opportunity !

    1. What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
Sunday, March 13, 2011, 10:27 PM. I had actually joined in 2009, when my friend let me have her account since she was getting too busy for CS, and 2009 was the year when I started learning more about CS's rules, guides, and fair trades, before she took her account back in 2011 March 12th, and I made a new account for myself the next day c:

    2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
2449, although that will probably change since I roleplay alot and help out wherever I can.

    3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every day! Every spare minute I get I get on to see who has responded to my posts in some of my roleplays, and just to check on what's new!

    4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I have school, and I get home at 3:25, so pretty much from 4:00 to 8:00 or 4:00 to 9:00, and sometimes an hour or two in the mornings, so the maximum hours in a day that I could possibly have would be 7 hours, and the minimum time would be 4 hours, but my average is around 6-7.

    5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them.
Yes I have! http://chibifurs.com/Forum/Upload/index.php is my major one that I am honored to be a Moderator on. Moderators on this site are experience and efficient, kind and caring, and are like the Global Moderators on CS, they moderate everything in general. c:

    6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, but I'll have to admit I'm not good at it and would rather not draw, I'd rather encourage other drawers and smile at their wonderful work rather than my work that looks like scribbles xD

    7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Oh yes of course! On the front page, I always look at the featured art, look at it, think about it, and comment on it! I love to see what wonderful artists have accomplished!

    8. Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I could go on and on about this, but I'm going to get to the punch line. I love art. Art is my favorite class, I take extra classes of it, I just love art. I love writing stories about art, I love reflecting on art, and I love drawing in real life. Art is a way for me to express myself. I can barely explain what something looks like because it will be in my head, and I can see it, so I'll have to draw it instead of explain it. Art it just..wonderful. It expresses alot, and I can see that it does. I want to help CS out, and make sure that the art is inspiring and clean for the younger users, and I feel mature enough to be able to handle that. I'm very VERY organized, even my close friends will joke around because I fuss over the details and they will tease me and call me Organization Gal, and hey, they're my friends, who would know me better? Haha, but still, I pride myself for being organized and efficient, because I'll always get the job done. I'm a goal-driven person, always working for experience and dedication and not so much the reward. I believe I'll fit this position almost perfectly, and that I can help CS out in any way possible if you ask me to!

    9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)
I'm a problem solver, and I don't like fights, which makes me want to end them quickly and in the best way possible, so nobody's relationships gets hurt. I have a bit of knowledge of peer mediation, like the time when my two friends were getting into a dispute about something and I had them over to my house and we hung out and had some fun, and then we sat down and talked about difficulties in our lives and how we felt about each other, and we expressed our feelings to each other about how we do things to each other that we don't really like, and after that our bond got unbreakably stronger. So yes, I have some experience with peer mediation.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Normally six days a week but mostly everyday.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Around four to five hours.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them?
Not really but i would love to.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
I draw regularly and am quite experienced with most of the tools.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Usually i have a look thought for inspiration or styles i could try out, so yes.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I enjoy drawing and art overall as well as lots of time on my hands witch i could spend to help others and to move art into the correct categorizes and basically offer advice about chibipaint to new players, i might not be the best artist or not a expert at the program but i do know quite a few techniques.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)
I don't have many skills i could bring in but i have been using chibipaint for three years and know quite a bit about the tools and nice techniques to use.

please note while it says open to all ages i am only a teen but perfectly capable.

1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
(if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply) Tue Jun 05, 2012 6:01 pm, i know its only 9 months but i have been active since then and it is over the required 6 months. Though it is not long i have spent more hours on here than people who joined years ago. a lot of this has been helping with oekaki, browsing oekaki forums and doing my own oekaki, which i love doing art! i am a very active member and am online constantly, and know pretty much everything thee is to know about cs

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
(if it's less than 300, do not apply)1136 (most of these has been on oekaki) i am very active for my time on here and well over the required 300 posts. it might not be as many as other entrents but they mainly are on oekaki and are qite a lot considering i have not been on as long as players from 08/09 e.t.c. i also plan to make many mor, helping players, posting oekaki and browsing forums.

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? everyday usually, i love cs and enjoy using the oekaki especaily since i now have my new tablet. i make my own oekakis and enjoy helping other artists and browsing forums i love the site and have a lot of spare time and can put all my effort into being a moderator, i also have used both versions of chibi - paint (1.8 and 2.0) so i can advise players on using both easily with good accurate advise. i barely ever go away on holiday or take breaks from cs, i have even tried to get friends involved with the site so i can talk to them as i spend all my time on here and never answer their messages, as unless it's on here i tend not to notice

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
2 - 3 - 4 - 5 hours, usually doing new pieces of art, helping other people looking for comments or crits also i spent a lot of time browsing the forums especially the oakaki. on weekends i can be a lot more! as school does have a habbit of getting in the way for six hours during weekdays but i get on the second i get home till i go to bed, i have all that time to put into moderating and would enjoy doing it and giving something back to cs after all the hours i have spent here and the great memories i have made. i would love to be a mod and have all the time to put into and i do get schhol holidays in which days i can be on as much to twelve hours a day, if i am needed here. i am on as much as possible and will always give everything to the role if i was lucky enough to be a mod, plenty of time to answer player questons, move artwork, solve arguements over art theft e.t.c.

5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
i have never been an official moderator, but i have done mini moding before on adoptable topics. (no links because it was a long time ago and the topic has since closed, also it was not official, just the owner of the topic needed 'player mods' to mini mod the topic, helping keep down spam, answering questions, e.t.c.) i have been with them to the end and put all effort into the topics, i had enough time to do everything needed and stayed about the topics helping confused players and solving problems, i liked moderating the topics and wish i could have this as an official cs staff position of all oekaki! i have seen other moderation application offers like the role play one and thought about applying, but i thought that all my real passion lay in art and figured i would wait just incase an oekaki moderator posistion came available, and i was thanking my lucky stars when this came up, i was glad i had waited and i know i can put everything in to this.

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? i have used it many times and infact made my own avatar ( My Gallery ) and have had some on the cs facebook page as a cover photo (of one of the staff pets by vampiric) cover photo made by me i can easily help people with questions on using oekaki tools and am very familiar with them and have spent a good many hours drawing there myself, i love trying new things there and experiments and have bored my friends witless showing the countless drawings i have done. i have made avatars/ customs/ commissions for people, and had good comments back, i am familliar with the tools and many techniques i adore art and have spent so many hours on oekaki you wouldn't believe it. i bought a tablet specailly to use for this site as it was the first site that felt right, and i found the tools easy to grasp and the users freindly and supportive of my earlier works while i was getting started and some really good comments on the later stuff.

7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? yes! everyday i look over the new drawings and comment if the artsist is asking for any, i love looking at the drawings and have made many friends there, i look forward to visiting those forums and have again spent countless hours there going through pages and pages of them. i have always enjoyed looking in the beginners oekaki at the users saying they wanted their work movng to intermediate if it was good enough, on some amazing peices of art and then seeing how happy they are when they log and find it has been moved up, i have always wanted to be able to do that, to move artwork up when the users dont quite beleive in it enough to post it there themselves but are delighted when another person thinks it's good enough. i think it is important for the oekaki moderators to love just looking and admiring other peoples' art, instead of just creating their own and i love looking at what other people have produced and being awe - struck by some of the realistic, photo like, images. i do love looking at the intermefdiate especailly some of the pictures there amaze me, but i find the beginners great too, seeing what people start out with and then how they progress when you see their user name again like a month later and realize - woah i saw their first drawing a month ago and know look at what they are making! it's amazing and makes me so happy o see al their progress, as happy as it makes me seeing my own, as i am constantly improving my own art.i try and give detailed answers to any questions there as i know that when you get confused you get really confused and sometimes when you know the answer you over look the really basic that you just assume everyone knows, but you've got to start somewhere and thats how some people can get confused with oekaki when an answer they recieve just really does not explain quite everything and skips out some crucial parts, the user can think it's just them and give up, so good advice is really important, i understand this as it has happened to a friend of mine and i had to tell her everything from the basics again to find out the problem now she can produce some really stunning pieces of art on here and has a real talent at drawing, but she might never have found out she had a talent in digital art if she had given up at the first hurdle.

8.Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? (warning long paragraph, sorry i couldn't cut it down and say all i wanted to) i love helping people, and spend time going through players who are asking for help and helping as best as i can, as i have spent so many hours on oekaki i love passing on my knowledge on the tools and helping people progress with their art, i would love to be a mod and help approve COPPA drawings as i know waiting for approval can be a pain (when you are new waiting for your post to be approved seems endless, i would love to help reduce the wait for the COPPA) and i would love to help them get it done faster. i would also enjoy helping move art from the wrong topic ( i myself have posted things in the wrong topic by accident, as i started on one thing and then it turn into something else like an editable, i looked everyday to check if it had moved yet until it was and i know how it feels waiting for something you want.) as to the poster every minute feels like an hour when you are waiting and i would try and get all this done quickly, i have always wanted to be a moderator for oekaki since i joined as i adore art or all kinds and love encouraging people. i have also been to told i was a good leader and can sort things out quickly and also impossible to offend so if a user gets mad, i can sort it out easily and help calm them down without taking offence and doing things badly and rashly (you can ask my friends for back-up on that), i dont mind removing images that are not suitable and would like to get them off as soon as possible to prevent people viewing them accidentally, i think it is important to get this place safe for the younger players and others who just dont want to see these things. i think it is important a mod actually wants to do these tasks instead of just applying so their username changes colour and people notice them. i would enjoy helping people and love veiwing the art others make as well as creating my own. i do not get irritated by users when they are not particularly pleased that we have noticed their art theft, or are being awkward. i would love users messaging me with questions and have time to go through each one and answer thoroughly, i am easy to talk to and am a very calm person which i think is helpful to an oekaki moderator. i want to be there for other players and if i was an official moderator i can help players more as currently i can only questions posted on topics (its still helpful, but if got this position i could do so much more to help and i feel it would help the future artists of cs, just to know someone is there to help when things go wrong, it can be crucial, and if no one is there to help, inspire and just to be that one comment on the piece they spent hours on, artists can just give up forever.) i would ENJOY being an oekaki mod and hey if you dont like the position why enter? i am passionate about art and want to help others. it would be a dream come true if i got this chance and would be eternally grateful.

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?) i am calm and can easily deal with fights (believe me its a useful skill and one i have needed in life and am rather good at, if i do say so my self ( which i do :O ) i love answering questions and have plenty of time and patience for the users of cs, i am supportive of new members and have a good knowledge of the oekaki tools and general art techniques (after 290 drawings on just cs alone, i think you learn a thing or two). i live and breathe art and would be ecstatic to fill the position. i have so much time to put into this and i feel i could fill the position very well. i aslo know how to code the images and can help with this and give tutorials. this is a small paragraph, not because i have no good qualities as a moderator just bcause i have mentioned many in above paragraphs, but i think it is important you believe in yourself so that you can help others. i also have a lot of good ideas to offer.

p.s. i do feel so very sorry for the one judging this, the amount of reading you will have had to do in this form alone ... ( i promise i didn't mean to write so much i just really want to be an oekaki mod and feel i can help cs by doing so >.< ) it took me so long to write this that i was automatically logged out of cs and had to log back in again to post it ... anyway good luck with the judging and i hope i am chosen for the position though i wish everyone else the very best of luck.

* What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)

February 21st, 2010

* How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):

11,660

* How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

I'm online multiple times every day of the week.

* How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

On weekdays I'm online for roughly two to three hours and on weekends I'm online for about four to five hours.

* Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

No, I have not moderated any official forums, however I have mini-modded for adoptable species and the like and I have a good understanding of it. =)

* Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

Yes, all the time! As of now I have 609 Oekaki drawings, three of which were featured in 2012. I really love using the Oekaki. I know how all the tools work as well as some good drawing techniques.

* Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?

Yes, I do. A lot of times I'll just scroll down the boards on my iPod to look at the art, and the Oekaki is definitely my most visited forum.

* Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

Art is my passion, so of course I would love to help out with Chicken Smoothie's drawing boards. I have been active on CS for three years now and I would really like to help out more and become better known on the website. Moderating is something that interests me as well, so I would definitely enjoy this position.

* Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation? Have you had a ton of experience using the oekaki program?)

I am very friendly and good at solving arguments. I am interested in moderating and I have a good understanding of CS's guidelines and have not broken a site rule. I am comfortable on the Oekaki, frequently use it, and I would like to help others who don't have a great understanding of it yet so in the future I can see their awesome art! I would be a good addition to the Oekaki moderators because I have a love for art, am friendly to others, and have a solid knowledge of CS's rules.

Thank you for your time, and I hope that you will take me into consideration! <3

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: Thu Jun 14, 2012 9:32 am
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 5,254
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I try to get on atleast once everyday, even on Sundays. Occasionally I will miss a day, although this is usually due to family issues. ^^
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Oh man......I'd say 3-4 hours a day, if you count all the little breaks inbetween school subjects, but I'm usually on after schooll for about three or four hours. :)
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: Depends on if you mean an adoptable species on the Oekaki, or another site. i have modded a few species here:
Sky Wyrms,Shionnix,Mystic dream Guardians,And Jelly Cats.
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, all the time!
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes, mostly indermediate and sketches and experiments. when I'm bored, or staying up all night on the computer, I'll put on some music and just look through art to get inspiration for books and stuff(this doesn't mean I steal their ideas, though, I mostly look at nature scenes, as those tend to calm me, and make me feel at peace.). I'll also do it just to do it, and compliment art when I see a piece I really like!
8.Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?:
Well, ever sinced I joined this site, I have wanted to be part of the CS staff. I have also always had a passion for art, and have been drawing ever since I can remember. My great-aunt says art runs through our veins, and I believe her. My parents have made sure I have learned what's appropriate and what isn't, and I hope to help others learn this too. I have a six year old sister, so I know what it's like having younger people around stuff that is meant for older people. Having a home with such an age difference between us, and a site with all ages of people, I honestly believe I could help keep the oekakis clean and child-friendly. There are also adult viewers who don't want to see this stuff, and i respect that. I would enjoy having responsability. My parents say that i need to be more responsible, and i understand that.
Having this position would not only make me happy, and feel special, but it would make me understand responsability more than having three pets would. I would be helping people, and when i help people, it makes me feel like the happiest person on earth. it's become a hobby to help people.
I don't want this job for name-color change, i don't want it to be reconized, to be popular. i want it because i enjoy helping people. i love life, and what it has to offer. I love modding, keeping threads clean. This job may not help me make the world a better place, but........In my mind, it's a start.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position; glad you asked! ^^ I am not easily irritted, which is a skill i find useful. i am calm, and if someone is feling down, or maybe scared becasuse they got in trouble, I seem to know what to say to encourage them it will be alright. I think this would be useful if, for example, i did get this position and I saw someone who posted a drawing that wasn't appropriate. i woud just explain to them, calmly, and in a nice tone, what they did and that it probably shouldn't happen again. :3
