How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I visit CS multiple times every day. I have an iPhone which allows me to check online when I am away from a computer, so times where I cannot log on will be very rare.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I usually spend about 7-9+ hours online everyday, much more on the weekends though. I wake up fairly early and I have my phone and computer with me most of the time from Monday to Friday, and I am a night owl so I spend a bit more time awake than the average person where I live.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I am generally a calm person and, even though I can be a bit energetic myself, I am good at soothing others in times of anxiety or stress. I know how to handle many problems and I always try to speak in a soothing and friendly manor.
I am not an expert with trade values, but I have gotten much better at understanding rarities compared to dates since I joined. I used to get help from other users with trades, but now I handle them on my own. I will not accept something if it is unfair to myself or the other user, unless that is their intention, and I have helped multiple friends with deciding the fairness of a trade.
I can speak decent Spanish, though I am still learning. I know minimal Greek, Latin, French, German, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese. I am fluent in English and I am very picky with my grammar and spelling.
Though I do not answer questions directly on public threads, I am always open for questions regarding Oekaki and I know many rules of the site after being on it for three and a half years.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I have been a member on CS for a while, so I've gotten quite used to having it be a part of my daily life. I've always been the kind of person who finds joy in helping others, which is why I try to do my best with moderating threads for species I work for here on CS. I do not tend to hold grudges against people unless they have done something rude to me directly and intentionally. I want to be able to help members of all ages learn how to use parts of this site and enjoy it. I do not want to be a General Helper because it gives me a colored name, but because I will have the ability to help others when they need it so they can enjoy CS like I have since I first joined.

I Spend usually about eight-nine hours daily on chicken smoothie sometimes more on weekends.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?)

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: I visit the site once everyday. I will not lie, I did take a break for a a while due to personal reasons, but now I'm back and I'm not planning to go anywhere for a very long time.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: two to four on a weekday and four to seven on a weekend.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I do in fact speak a bit of French and English, and I speak English fluently. Over the summer, I volunteered with kids with disabilities, so I know a bit about that. Trading on this site is my area of expertise, though. If you have any trading questions about rarity, or what to offer for a certain pet you want, I'm your girl! Lastly, I try my hardest to go onto the 'Introductions' forum and greet new users as often as possible.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I remember being a new user to this site right around this time three years ago. I wasn't really sure what I was doing and I got tricked out of a lot of pets; I also didn't learn to format or code anything for a long time. The reason that I want to be a general helper is because I empathize with the new (and even the older) users who are confused with something and aren't sure what to do. Just that feeling of not being able to figure something out can be extremely frustrating. I want to be someone that all users know they can come to no matter if they need help with a pet's rarity, figuring out the forums, or maybe they just need a friend, someone to talk to. All in all, I believe that becoming a general helper would be an incredible opportunity for me. c:

I have made 26383 posts, and have an average of 34.35 posts per day

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?::
I visit Chickensmoothie daily, I wouldnt miss it for a heartbeat.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?::
I would say i spend about five hours on CS every day, depending on the day it is. On weekends i typically spend a complete day here on CS.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

Attitude Toward others
I generally find myself to be a calm and peaceful person, I often stress myself to get work done while in the meantime I also do what I can to keep calm and cool when in a stressful or complicated situation. I can handle cruel words and hate from other people and do not have a problem with having to keep a positive outlook over the members of Chickensmoothie. I have my own experience working with others that have an attitude or try to make me go off, and have never snapped on anyone before that I can remember. I know better than to do so and tell myself in the end it is never worth it.

Languages?
At the moment I am only truly fluent in one language, that being English. I know some minor Spanish and I am on my second year of HS Spanish, after taking a year in eight grade also.

When people ask you questions on CS
I have often been asked for help on CS when a friend of mine, or sometimes on occasion a random stranger, wants a quick answer to a problem they are having or are experiencing. I do my best to answer the questions for them the best i can, as i always try to help people out with reliable information. If i find myself confronted with a question that i can not answer right away I first look into the problem and see if i can solve it on my own, but if i find no available solution i direct the person to someone that i believe can help them with their issue.

Trading and Profile Editing on CS
My first year on Chickensmoothie I was very big into trading and fairness of trading. I understand that over the years trading has become much more extreme and people demand more for pets than they are listed on the fair trade thread. I am usually capable of answering on whether or not a trade is fair. I can not say i am an expert when it comes to fair trades but i am quite knowledgable in the way that the Lists work for rarities of pets
I know how to edit profiles and also how to work with and change trade settings and find myself capable of giving step by step easy to follow instructions for a member on CS. I find making easy to follow instructions to be a big form of help for others.

More
I am currently the owner of a freeforum for my species, and am in charge of most of the control and I am the Administrator of the whole website. I have hired help with keeping people in control but i understand the complications of keeping things under order, and keeping people under control.

Breaking up fights
I have entered lots of Roleplays and other such forums and watched over them as i had fun with them, I have often seen them get into fights over characters and other things and can maturely handle the situation, tell when someone is breaking a rule, and make sure that the people of CS are child safe and keep themselves from fighting.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I have been on CS for a long time now and i have never ceased to be amazed by the hard working people that run this site, and also the people who contribute as members of this community. I believe that if CS should be a safe environment for everyone, then it will need to have people to watch over it properly to give good advice. CS is a kind of place where people with creative minds come to do many things whether it be to simply have fun and meet new people, talk to people with common interests, or to get away from the real world for a little while, and deserves to be protected by responsible and capable people. I am volunteering to help out with the rest of the community and keep Chickensmoothie a safe, and wonderful place to be.

Oh my, I spend as much time as possible, whether it is on my iPod or computer, I am on every day of every week.

I usually devote 2-3 hours of my time on weekdays, and 3-4 hours on the weekends.

Well, I am currently learning French, I know just the slightest bit of Spanish, and I was a peer mentor in middle school

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Well, there are many reasons.

I have always looked up to people who are on staffs, and I have always dreamed of joining some type of staff. I love this wondrous site ever since I joined it, and when I first saw the first application post I saw on here (2 months after I joined) I wondered, "I wonder what it's like to be on the Chicken Smoothie staff. It must be incredibly busy taking care of a huge site such as this." I have loved helping out others, and my friends from school always called me "The Silent Helper" because I would silently help out others (but not the silent helping like cheating) but I would help out like cleaning a mess up without being told, and when there were new people in my class, I would help them privately. I enjoy the rush of excitement when I help others.

I hope to be a part of the Chicken Smoothie staff, but I don't care if I don't make it. You can't always get what you want in life.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? All seven. There is rarely a day I do not visit for at least a couple hours.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Two hours is the minimum I spend daily on CS specifically. A tab is usually always open, and I am consistently checking in throughout the day, even if I don't log in.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position Apart from fluent english I also speak a bit of spanish. My knowledge isn't complete, but I have enough to be able to converse. I also have some knowledge with basic HTML coding. I have the coding of CS down, and have been learning the coding for projects such as smart phone apps and websites. I have had experience with peer mediation, and have been apart of speech and debate groups. I understand how to keep calm and reasonable throughout an irritating confrontation, and how to reason my own point correctly and proficiently. I consider my trade value knowledge to be rather high, as I have been following the fluctuations and working with the rarities and helping others with rarities for quite a duration now. I also frequent other sites such as FlightRising and am familiar with the conversions between the sites if there are questions relating to that.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I would like to be a general helper to aid the expansion of CS in a way that I believe I could correctly fill and help with. In the past, I have been matched with two new users who had requested a more experienced user to help them learn CS through the new user program, as well as many that were not through the newbie program but asked for my help separately. I taught them the coding, the rarities, the oekaki, everything that I would have loved to have someone teach me when I was new. I would have felt so much more comfortable faster, and wouldn't have lost many of the pets I had while in the process of learning and making mistakes. I look at the general helpers and see teachers, people with kind hearts and open minds that are always willing to help. I believe that with my skills and mindset, I would be an addition worth having to the team. I have the patience and knowledge of CS, and am just waiting to be able to help a bigger audience.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Up to 8 hours, sometimes a bit less or more, depending on school.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required): I have been on CS since late 2008, and I can help with anyone asking about the forum and how it works, especially to the newer CS members. Most new players do not understand how the trade system works, or what is considered "fair", so I'd like to be given the chance to help them, especially in this.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? Being able to help out with Chicken Smoothie and the members is a great honor, and it has been a while since I have been in a position that requires some form of discipline, and I think that being a General Helper is a good place to start. I remember being a new player here, and how General Helpers have helped me in so many ways, and I'd like to give that back to the new players.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) I have made a total of 5515 post (though it may seem like a low number, because I only post when I feel the need to post or something important happens). c:
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Everyday. Though I might have something come up (like my job and whatnot) and have to visit CS at later hours of the night.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? At least three hours on weekdays, most likely more (around 4-5 hours). On weekends, I'm on all day, not matter if I'm on my ipad, tablet or phone. ^^;

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum?) I can fluently read Hebrew (though I do have trouble understanding it at times) and I'm currently learning Chinese. I can usually hold a conversation in Japanese (though I'm learning that language as well).
I have CS coding down to a nutshell, and I know quite a bit of HTML coding as my brother likes to continuously talk about how to do this and how to do that. It's interesting to say the least c:
I'm also a writer. I love to write and create my fantasies so I have a pretty good grasp of grammar and a decent knowledge of spelling (I have spell-check for all those mistakes that I miss).
I've been hanging around on CS for a while, so I know about the rare-list rarities rather well, even if I don't really post around that part on CS as much. I try and answer and many questions on forms as I can, and be as clear as I can c: I know what it's like to get some questionable answers, so I try and say things as simply as possible but at the same time, let everyone know exactly what I'm talking about.
I'm also (in my opinion) nice to everyone because I know that there are people behind those screens with feeling and it ticks me off when people treat them differently. I try to set up a generally happy atmosphere so the person knows that I'm not as scary and serious as I might seem c: (Though I am serious, I just don't want to intimidate people incase they might be one of the people who can get nervous easily).

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I want to help out, mainly. I already try and help out as much as I can, but sometimes I know that I can do more and this is my chance to help the CS community grow! I'm a rather chatty, peppy person, so I like so chat with people/answer any and all questions they might have concerning CS in any way.
If I became a general helper, I would be able to help a larger portion of CS, not just hunting down those who need answers. I'd especially stick to the introductions board to help with all the questions that newbies have (I would've loved if someone did that for me) because I know that this site can be confusing at first, but once you have someone there to help it becomes a second nature to you, just like it has to me c:

All 7, no exceptions. If I can't get on from a computer, I'm constantly checking up on CS through my phone.

Normally anywhere from 3-8. You could say I have no life on certain days. ;P

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
--I know enough of French that while I may not be perfectly fluent myself, I can understand what others are saying fairly well.
--I can deal with any "hate". I'm a mod for a species on here, Makoatls, and we have an ask blog for any questions about the species. I'm used to getting blatant hate directed at me for whatever reason, either petty jealously or the flat out hatred of me as an individual.
--I do my best to be polite to everyone I meet, the only chance that I show a bit of vulgarity is with users I truly know, and that's always through PM or offsite. (The only real "vulgarity" is words like "crap". I seriously cannot bring myself to say anything worse than that or possibly "oh my god".)
--I'm able to speak to users in a clear and easy to follow way. If I for some reason receive a PM that annoys me or is just rude, I do not reply. All other PMs are normally responded with fairly polite answers with correct grammar/spelling, except for the rare occasion when it's with a friend, in which case I may let my grammar drop a bit.
--I have the habit of lurking around the forums, meaning the places I post aren't the only places I go. These days, it may appear that I only hang out around character-related boards, but I spend a great deal of time just hunting around topics, reading but not often posting. However, this could easily be changed to posting in order to help out users who need it.
--I know what it feels like to be a newbie, as I still remember my first days on the site. I'm also a newbie on several other sites at the moment, and I know exactly what I can do to make newbies feel at home from what I want users to say to me on other sites.
--I'm not perfect on rarities, but I'm fairly good with them, and can easily teach a newer player about trading, rarities, some things about the rares list, and how to avoid scammers.
--I'm an actor, and can pick up moods fairly easily based on some of the parts I've played and characters I've had to interact with in the past. This has also greatly increased my sense of empathy so I'm able to relate to users and help them out.
--I don't currently post on many help threads due to the fact that there are many others who try their best to be "out there" and helpful members of the community, and I didn't want to take that from them. However, as a General Helper I would do my best to welcome as many people as I could, answer any questions that I could, and complete any other duties without a single complaint.
--I really like to get to know different users, so I have no problem PMing different users who need guidance or just want someone to talk to.
--If I end up becoming a General Helper, I'll just be me. I'm not going to suddenly consider myself high and mighty, instead just do my job and try to be a common face with a reputation for being polite and helpful. In short, I know that I won't be any better than the average user. :)
--I'm experienced with roleplay on here, so I can guide users through the roleplay boards and perhaps help them find a few to join.
--I know my way around Oekaki as well, so I can answer questions on that.
--I'm also experienced with BBCode, HTML, and some CSS, so I could help in coding help threads as well.
--Lastly, I'm not a robot. I'm not going to copy and paste the same message to numerous newbies on their introduction threads, I would take the time to welcome them all individually.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I'm already on CS for a huge portion of that day, and I'd really like to spend it making others happy, as well as getting to take part in some boards that I lurk in, but don't normally post in, such as the introduction and help boards. Plus, being a General Helper seems like a great way to get to meet many different faces on here, which I'd love to do. :)
