An "Advanced" board has been added to the oekaki!

Why does everybody care about having their art in Advanced category right away?
The advanced artists have worked a VERY long time to get there. Nothing happens overnight, you have to be patient and practice.
After reading most of the replies, I think it's a great idea to sort out drawings, so not so many get overlooked.

ps: how many people actually buy legit copyrights (obviously other than the famous)?

All artwork is copyrighted from the moment of creation, you don't have to buy copyrights on it.

Personally, I'm very confused. Whenever I try my best on the Oekaki, I'm almost automatically bumped down to beginners because "it didnt fit the list".

I think this whole "Advanced" board will make me feel a bit worse knowing I'll never get there because I cant even get to intermediate.

This whole situation is confusing, and honestly I'm not to mad about the whole thing. I just know I wont be posting on the Oekaki again.

No, I don't think you understand. Intermediate won't contain amazing works anymore, they will be Advanced. Technically, Intermediate will be down-graded.

That means that your art just might fit there once the change is made.
