If Tess was going to do whatever she liked regardless then I highly doubt she would have even bothered to ask at all.

As to what my post gives the impression of, that is completely up to your own speculation. I never intentionally focused on any one member NOR did I say they were being selfish. Putting words in the mouths of others is not nice, nor is assuming.

My point still stands. I was merely stating that what is best for this site is the most important matter, not the wants nor needs of the few or many. I'd rather have line art I don't like then no line art at all.

We never accused you of calling out any one member, just that you made it seem like you thought people who disagreed with you were selfish (Read: putting their wants before what you see as whats good for the site) and we suggested you change your wording if that wasn't what you meant. Omg no.... D= i love the old horses they are the coolest! Not a big fan of the newer ponies, never have been... I always took a liking to the old ones they were and still are the coolest!

Apparently, they were notified and that is why it is happening now, instead of back then.

Art theft and plagiarism are considered big crimes in the modern world.
since equimagines pictures were obviosly plagiarized/traced, the photograohers have an opportuiny to sue or do something else to help stop this.

There is a vote here because if enough people want the horses to stay the same for their 'selfish personal reasons' it becomes what is best for the site.
If it's that important tess will do what she chooses regardless of the vote.

No, it does not just become what's best for the site. It simply becomes a site that caters to everything the members want. Which is not always a good thing.

Why not? Isn't the site supposed to be for us? If Tess and the other leaders of the site didn't want us to be happy, they wouldn't make a site like this. There are other ways to share art for your own fun, like deviant art.

I'm not saying they should do everything we say, but this is such a major change that will make a lot of members unhappy, so they should consider this carefully.

Yes, the site is for us. Yes, I'm sure Tess wants us to be happy. But wouldn't you rather feel safe, knowing the pets you collected, spent time in getting, adore, were always going to be there while CS is up?

If the copyright file is put through, then those horses are going to just disappear completely. I am sure that'd make a lot more people unhappy then a little line change.

I stopped stating my opinion on it long ago, and really only agree due to the fact that I'd rather not loose the horses altogether.
If there is a better way to phrase it then, please, by all means let me know. c:
But from where I stand all I see is people wanting the lines to stay the same either out of their own wants or out of respect for an artist that left us long ago and gave up all her rights to these pets/designs/lines.

Guys please stop bring up the copy right issue, this is a place for people to just say what they want, so don't try to change there mind. Sorry just everytime I come on here that's all I am seeing when all people said was they like the old lines better. Even if the lines change they are maybe keeping some of the rarer ones, so for the 'copy right' issue everyone is worrying about won't matter which way. The ones they are keeping are ones that everyone is saying is 'copy right' can we just stop this now, please or at least leave other alone about it who are just saying they like the older lines better?
