Do you love it so much that you are willing to risk losing all the horses with that particular lineart?

Sure, why not. Because I'm not concerned about a risk that doesn't exist right now. If this was a big valid risk, something Tess was worried about, we wouldn't have a choice in the matter. And they wouldn't be considering keeping some of the horses in the old line-art. Because if it was an issue and they had to remove the horses now or risk getting in trouble, keeping even one horse in that line-art would cause trouble. I trust Tess in this. I also trust that they're smart enough to have back-ups of the images, so if they're forced to remove them immediately, they still have the designs saved and can then convert them onto the new line-art. So they wouldn't be lost.

Hmn, I'd be tempted to get some drafts if the lineart change goes through.

Yeah we just collect them for no reason. I'm tired of posts like this. I've personally never liked the new pony lines. They aren't natural looking to me.

You are part of the minority who collect them out of true like for them.

Oh my god; all if this is so, so, SO well said. I think those who have voted 'no' should think over it again. ;w;

Thought it over several times. Sorry these comments seem very rude to me. To me it's the value of the history I have with these pets considering I've been a member since '09 and I've grown through CS with these lines. These general statements you guys are making aren't very... Well they're kind of rude.

just thought i'd say that i agree that art theft is a serious issue, but i'd let the photographers decide for themselves. the majority of them have been contacted [by multiple people, in multiple different ways], and i think it's best for them to decide. in the mean time the only thing we can really do is vote and hope they'll reply.

also, how will this be judged? how will it be decided which side wins, eg. what would happen if the vote was very close, only one side winning by a couple votes? i asked a while ago but it never got answered.

I've seen this too. Hell, all I ever heard before the whole topic came up about switching was "I don't like equi's lineart" and things like "I value equi's lineart less". When it comes to trading, it is so much harder to trade off equi's pets for fair pay because a lot of people just don't like the lines.

To be honest, I only collect them because I need them for a complete collection.

In all honesty guys we should be looking at this in a manner that asks: "What's good for CS as a site?" not "What would make ME happy?"

Exactly. I feel as if the arguments against the change, no offense meant to anyone who argues against it, are more self-centered, describing their love for the look and how much they'd miss the lineart, etc. I haven't seen much, if anything, argument-wise that focuses on the good of the CS website as a WHOLE.

This!

and, of course, the obligatory comparison post.

Okay guys. Cut it out and read my stinkin' post before you attack me. People.

That's the problem: the risk does exist now. Someone has contacted the photographer of the foal, and if they see the lineart and get upset over it, it could mean bad things.
That's really selfish. Just a little instant replay from what it looks like from a lot of others' eyes?
I like this lineart better and if I don't get what I want then you guys can't have what you want either.
Reminds me of one of Aesop's fables, but I won't go into that.
    It's good to be back.

Do you know that if I offered a rat for a dog to about 90% of people, I would get the trade cancelled? So let's just get rid of the rat line-art too, since obviously ~no one~ likes it.

That is the exact same thing as your argument. I'm going to put in something I learned from the rares list here: You can always find someone willing to trade fairly for your pet. You just have to look. And, unfortunately, you will have to deal with people who are idiots along the way, and with people who don't like certain things. Such is the nature of trading.

Because the equimagine lines a worth a little more since they are older and are much different than the current ones, and I also realky want to keep those, since I have a collection.

(pleasenforgive me if im wrong about the rarity part)
But thank you for your consideration! <3

It will change all the horses with that lineart, but the rarity will stay exactly the same. In fact, I think their demand might go up a bit because from what I've seen, the majority of people like Yul's lines better than equi's.

Thank you for your opinion!
But i do rarher like the PPS equns <3
