is there any way to get these files for different programs? i use ibispaint for example, or is it gated off for anyone outside of photoshop?

You need to be able to work with PSD files as an artist, so this is what you're working with here too.
There are several free programs like GIMP you can use.

We've received heaps of stunning entries so far!
We have also had a few entries without image attachments. If you have entered, please look over your submission to check that all your pics were uploaded correctly

There are several free programs like GIMP you can use.
Thankfully lot of programs can open PSD files so it doesn't need to be photoshop specifically, though I'm not sure about ibispaint but you can give it a go. CS linearts are PSDs so it's important to have this step figured out before becoming a CS artist.

I dreamed of being an artist for CS. But my art is too poor for cs. I can't even color lol!.. And I never had a fancy art program or the skill to use it. So congrats to whoever gets the best chair*** on the CS petsite!
*** I consider this best since you only art and not have to mod for a shot at a custom pet. Aka ez win chair! Lolol!!***
