Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

1. I am very good at formatting with BB code;
2. I can read some Spanish and Italian, though I cannot write in those languages very well;
3. I have taken courses in counseling and peer mediation;
4. I am especially familiar with the RP rules and often volunteer information in the fair trade thread.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

This is a community that I have been a part of for almost a year and a half now. Though I am an adult I enjoy this website as an escape from daily life and I think that it's a great community with a lot of knowledgeable people who are helpful and generous. I want to give back to this community. I already do in small ways, such as answering what questions I can on the Suggestions and Problems board and helping anyone who PMs me or posts on a thread that I see but I would like to be more involved and have users know that they can come to me for assistance. Thank you for the opportunity.

Every day. 7 days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
I spend a lot of time on CS. On weekdays, usually 6+ hours on the computer, but I'm generally on and off the rest of the day on my mobile, so I can regularly check the site. I'm on at least 5 hours straight on weekdays. On weekends I could be on up to 12 hours a day, though if I'm out for any reason I still have regular internet on my mobile.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I'm a very resourceful person. I do speak base French and German, and I speak fluent English, but if it is a language I am not familiar with I can easily use a translator. I'm very calm and collected and it's not in me to use foul language or make any spiteful retorts. I know a lot about the forum in general, as I've been here a long time. I know how to use the Oekaki, how to use the 'My Account' theme, as well as other general things such as trading, locking groups, changing settings, putting the accurate time up, as well as many other things. I know all of Chicken Smoothie's rules, as well as all of the helpful guides and tools there are. I'm good with fair trades and I know my rarities well. I also know how to use basic coding and I could support those with questions about how to insert certain things (e.g. pictures, named links, etc) into their posts.
I also have a lot of patience. If somebody does not understand an explanation, I don't snap at them. I simplify my words and break it down step-by-step. I'm happy repeating the same thing over and over without getting frustrated. I am also a very dedicated person, to this site and many other things, and I have a lot of spare time to answer questions and support those who need it.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
Truthfully? I want members to enjoy the site. I've joined many sites such as Wajas and Howrse, but I've quit them because I have got myself stuck and can't un-stick myself. When I get confused, it leads to irritation, and in the end I just quit. I don't want to see members quit. I want everybody to enjoy the site in the way that I do. I want them to feel as though they can ask and get a fast and friendly response, somebody who is willing to listen and explain into further detail if they get stuck. Nothing is worse than being clueless. When you get confused, and stuck, it takes the enjoyment out of the site. I'd like to be able to support those who need help and assist them into getting back into the routine of enjoying the site, as well as making sure that they feel comfortable speaking with me and asking me questions. I enjoy helping others.
It's also nice for newbies to get a feel of the site. I believe that they should be encouraged to join in on forum posts and know the basics of the site, and that General Helpers are there to help and support them if they're not sure about something.
I'd like for members to know that I am a friendly and open person to speak to about anything that they're not sure about, but I will support the site the best way I can either way.

I can usually get on every day of the week, except on certain(rare) occasions.

I usually spend almost all day on CS during weekends, and on school days I am usually on for three-five hours
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I know how to work Oekaki, and have basic trading knowledge. I've learned my way around the forums, and can also help with any questions regarding setting up threads, coding stuff, signatures, and avatars. This upcoming year, I will be learning a bit of basic Spanish and maybe Japanese. I have also worked as a camp counselor for almost three years now, and know how to keep my paitence.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I've spent most of my free time in the past few years on CS, and would love to help out around the site. At first, I was unsure about it but it soon became a regular part of my life. I feel that I want to help others become comfortable with this site, and learn to love it as well. It's also enjoyable, in my opinion, to help others.

Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?) I Have answered my 2 friends questions about the oekaki. After all, we all learn from you :3 I Don't speak another language but if someone PM's me one day in another language I WILL look up what EVERY single word that person said in the dictionary so i can reply while looking at the dictoniary so i can tyoe back the language that is used. I Am also good at french, btu i'M NOT an expert. I Do consider a trade-value expert since I visit the rares list alot and I CAREFULLY look at the rarities.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? : Well, I would ABSOLOUTELY LOVE to be a general helper for your website. You couldn't believe how much i am dying for this job, any job even! I Really want to be a general helper also since I really appreciate you making this and also because I'd love to help out CS. Really. I Also want to be a general helper too because I want to help out people by answering questions. After all, getting questions and answering them is really fun!

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Everyday, unless I am super duper busy with work and school, but that has only happened a couple times so I should be on between 6-7 days (but mostly all 7)
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: Well I usually spend about 1.5 hours - 3 hours (lately though I haven't had much to do so I have been on a lot more), usually about 2 hours (the amount of time I spend is scattered out so I will be on for 30 minutes and then leave and then I will get back on later)
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I love using oekaki and I understand how every tool works because I have used each one at least once (except for the clear history button, but I know what it does). I am good at using BBC codes and I know how all of those work too. I am really great with people and I hate to get on people's bad-side. If I cause any trouble with anyone I have fixed it, apologized and learned from it. I am polite and know my manners. I am in a couple role-plays and I have helped one person create a Role-play. I have read through all the rules of CS and understand them. Half of my family is from the Netherlands so i know a lot of Dutch. Right now I am taking a Mandarin Chinese class so I guess you can count that language too. i wish I could say more, but if this counts I am also very determined and hate disappointing people.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: Why wouldn't someone want to? This seems like a great opportunity and a good experience. I have been on CS for quite a while now and I love it so uch, I enjoy it. I have been doing a lot of taking and I would love to do some giving back. Plus I have always wanted to work for a site/ create a site but I just never found the right opportunities/ something I wanted to do until now. I always love helping others, it makes me feel good (I mean literally, after I gift/help someone I can't stop smiling). I am not that great of an artist, so I could never do that, but this is perfect because it is something I am good at and like doing.

Seven days a week, with exceptions (school, home work, other)

I spend from half an hour to six or more hours a day on chicken smoothie, depending on the day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position

I have skills with working with children from working at an all day children camp, and know how sometimes kids(also adults) don't understand what you are saying the first time you say it, and need to repeat it over a couple times. Also I am able to explain thing clearly, and show new users how to do things using Join.Me. I am able to use Oekaki to a great length, and try to help out new Oekaki users already with the transparency settings and Join.Me. I am also quite adapt to using BB codes, and I tend to not use text speak so I can let my full message through to who I am talking to. I always lend a helping hand to anyone I can whether it is helping judge forms, or doing a breeding for someone.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I want to be a General Helper because I think I can bring my skills and help to those of Chicken Smoothie, and I enjoy making people happy. I also like to help people out, making it quick and simple, so the player will be able to return to having fun with a little more knowledge. I am against bullying, swearing, and foul language, and tend to look on the bright sid o things. One last reason is it has been a dream to help out in the Chicken Smoothie community in any way.

Everyday. Im always on as much as I can, unless there is an emergency or issue..

Usually ranges from 2-8 hours. o3o School is also starting for me in a week, so probably will be 2-4 hours on weekdays and more during weekends. I always try to get on to check stuff, and now that I have an art shop I tend to get on a lot more. I may be gone at certain times, like this September Im going in for mouth surgery and I dont know how much I can get on while Im all.. Sickish.
But I do get on even on holidays and special occasions. Ill be on on my birthday and during christmas break and such. :D
5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Well, I know a lot of things about CS {like the rules} so I could answer a lot of the questions, and I dont get angry or frustrated easily, so I wouldnt be raging out at everybody over nothing. I also know a lot about trading and that such, value of pets, matching up dates, seeing if the trade is fair, and how to.. trade. :3 I know my way around chickensmoothie and know a bit about oekaki and how it works {but still ask a few questions on this subject from time to time}. I'm honest and friendly and I'm always ready to help others. I always try to help people as efficiently and fast as possible, and Im just a friendly person. :3
I'd say my strong point is helping with conflicts and arguments, as I have three other siblings and we fight a lot. It gives me learning expiriences and I know how to deal with those things.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I think it would be a good oppurtunity to actually help some around chickensmoothie. I feel like I've been on chickensmoothie long enough to know a lot of the basic things and feel like I have good expirience for this job. I love to help others, even if it takes an hour to complete the task. I never really give up and it would be an honor to be able to be more a part of this internet community. :3 I also enjoy meeting new people and I would like to be more involved in things here.
I would just love to be more apart of this community and be able to help more, and even get to know more people. {Yay friends! xD}

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

Very good with BBCode when setting up sigs, Trades pages and general forum pages.
Know the Oekaki page inside out, and how to set images for other users.
Always answering questions either through the forums, and I get PM'd questions regularly. I have a lot of newbie friends now that I help a lot.
I own my own guide page so when asked, the answer to a question gets added to it, as I help the members by typing out a lot of instructions, so instead of saving to drafts, I now post there! I also know how to explain things in simple terms.
I like to search through the forums as break from trading or Oekaki and I find myself reporting mis-posted posts a lot.
I have a lot of ideas in general for CS, but with that I explain why the ideas have come to me, as well as the solution and how maybe to set the idea out.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I'm 27 years old so I have the adult influences. I think I'd be a great help to both Staff and Members. I tend to volunteer my help, and when asked, I enjoy helping those that need it. I actually don't mind people PM'ing me questions, it gives me a great sense of well being!! And I have helped someone to the point of explaining again, which I actually enjoyed. I like to make sure they are happy with what they are doing.
