Thinking of a design....then a trip to Winco to get powdered sugar!!! I thought there was going to be a gallery of entries (don't worry, I have no interest in copying someone else, I just like getting the gears turning by flipping through cake magazines/pictures of cakes :3)

Need to find my camera too. This is convenient timing. I can make this cake, then cut it up and give it to people, including my mother who is visiting this weekend. She taught me all I know about cake

EDIT: nevermind, I reread the contest stuff. They'll post a gallery AFTER. Yay! I like checking out other peoples' cakes

OMG! Im about to enter the photos. My hands were shaking when i was decorating the cake because ive never decorated a cake before. It looks like a 7 year old made it! I have a feeling that some 34 year old proffesional cake person is going to beat me.

Okay, the home page is nagging me to enter, so I'll ask a question I've had since the start:

I get that the cake has to be 'edible', but does it actually have to be eaten afterwards?

I'm lactose intolerant, cake isn't something I consider edible.

No, you just have to bake a cake and enter pictures of it.

I highly doubt CS would make people eat the cake, even if they did, how would they know?
