How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: I'm usually off and on; if I really added it up, it would probably be a few hours depending on the day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I have answered questions that my friends have asked me before about trade advice and know a fair amount of knowledge about trading and the pet value. I do occasionally sweep past the help forum and topics about people asking questions, and I sometimes do answer questions on the forum.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I want to be a General Helper because I love to help out others and I think it would be fun and heighten my activity with the CS community. I wouldn't want it just for the bold pink name and "more respect".

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: Every day.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS: About two, three or more hours. Two is pretty typical now though.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I speak Chinese, German, Polish and English. I am most fluent in English and Chinese, but I can speak a quite a bit of German and Polish. I had lots of experience in peer mediation in junior high and my early years of high school, as the schools offered hall monitoring positions, lunchtime paras and a sociology class. I also went to the elementary school quite a bit to socialize with children and monitor their behaviour. When I was younger I baby-sat and was a very popular baby-sitter. I can work with younger people and older people as well, as I am very patient and like to interact with others. I do program as well as roleplay fluently and can help out with questions on other forums besides the typical help questions. I trade very well and often help people if their trade is not fair, as when I was a junior member I was very interested in trading/rarities. I do search around the forums and find a lot of questions, as well as greet people from time to time to Chicken Smoothie. I mostly linger around the discussion forums and talk to others about various things.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I want to be a General Helper so I can help people around the forums as well with the Help Ticket centre. With the salmon name, new members can notice me better and ask me questions easier. I can respond really quickly and get the job done faster than some others. I am very polite to others and if I was labelled a General Helper I could help more people than I do currently. I do not want to moderate on the forms like other positions or make pets on CS. Personally I would be happy if I just helped other members. I enjoy CS very much, and I would love others to have a great stay as well.

I visit CS everyday of the week for a big chunk of time.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Every day I usually stay on CS for around 2 hours, however I may visit and stay for a longer time during weekends.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Although I may not be the best value expert, I do have a lot of experience with trading, either normal trades or list trades. I would be able to answer questions in the forum and cover all the rules, trading, forums, and basic information for any members. I've had quite a few users who sent me unfair trades and also PM-ed me for advice. I'd always gladly help them out. Often times would also offer help when the user seems like they are quite confused with how everything works(trading, account settings rules etc.).


Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Throughout the whole time I've been on CS, many members have offered me their time and knowledge to help me. I'd love to pass that on. The CS community is amazing, friendly and helpful and I think every member should feel this way. Which is why from the beginning, I decided that I want to help the CS community in any way I can. I'm willing to offer as much as I can, I'm really willing to give up to push this community further. For several years, I've always "fantasized"(XD) about becoming a general helper, because really, getting the opportunity/being able to help lots of users out is just a huge honour for me. It's really something I LOVE to do!

Seven days a week unless I have made plans or do not have a computer to use. I try to at least visit everyday but sometimes do not post everyday. I'm usually on my iPhone at least every thirty minutes just checking. c:
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Usually ranging from 2-5 hours a day. With school and (sometimes) lack of internet access. As said before, I try to visit as frequently as possible.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Besides English, I can speak Spanish, and even though its not very fluent I still find myself advancing in it and being able to have a conversation with someone. I also know my way around CS very well. I know how to edit almost anything, how to fix pen pressure within the oekaki, all the different brush types in the oekaki, how to display an image/gif, BBC/(some)HTML coding, etc. I also know my rarities and sometimes help at the "fair trade thread". Not only that but I basically stalk the suggestions/help forum, answer questions on the boards and through PM, and try to welcome new members when possible.
I also have been involved in peer mediation for a little bit now. I used to be in a group that helped improve leadership skills and I often helped others resolve problems. I'm also involved in a lot of band activities that also practice peer mediation and leadership, since I'm first chair in the baritone section at my school. Besides that, I consider myself to have a rather calm composure and rarely get mad at anyone.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I want to be a General Helper because I think it would be a good experience and I love to help people. I am an experienced member of CS and know my way around very well so I can help members with almost anything. I love greeting the new members of CS and answering others questions (through the forums and PM), even if its the same one. I want to be able to make CS a wonderful and enjoyable place, and I know that if I become a General Helper I will devote the majority of my time helping others and making sure everyone feels welcome here. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I'm on seven days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I visit about 3-5 hours a day.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I can speak some French. A couple years ago, I was also a group leader for incoming fifth graders in middle school. There would be groups of people with two leaders and about ten fifth graders in each group, and the leaders would help them get around school for the first few days.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I would like to be a General Helper because having the experience to help the younger children was great for me. It made me more confident in helping others from simple tasks to hard situations. I have also been on CS for four years, so I know my way around here and I know all of the rules. When I was a new member, I mostly figured everything out for myself, which was difficult as times. If I was a General Helper, it would be nice to give someone the guidance they need. I wouldn't want this position for the color name or the recognition.

• I have experience with other adoptable sites along with other websites in general such as deviantART, and tumblr
• I've been told that I was the sweetest person on Earth and I'm very approachable so if anyone had any questions they should not hesitate to send me a private message!
• I have a lot of experience with BB Code/Coding, Oekaki, and other drawing programs such as Paint Tool Sai and Fire Alpaca
• Art class has helped me become unique and creative in my own way so I could pitch in with ideas at any time in case of special events happening

6. Why do you want to be a General Helper? I would like to be a General Helper because I particularly enjoy helping others out, even if it's a simple act of kindness. I remember when I first joined a kind user sent me a Welcome Trade and gave me a couple of free pets. Ever since then every so often I'll scroll down on the Index Page and send the newest member a Welcome PM to CS, just saying Hello and that if they have any questions that can always ask me. When I was still new to CS I made a topic on the 'Introductions' thread called King For A Day where new users could feel 'special'. As quoted from the topic, "You will make new friends right here with the Helpers, and then they are going to show you some really cool things about this website! They will show you the Forums, which are fill with all different things, Oekaki, where you can draw for different reasons, Trading, and Much Much More!" I see moderators on adoptables here on CS and they seem to really enjoy their job. I would love to have a similar experience along with them and enjoy working along side others and we help users new and old here on CS. Overall, I would really like to help out others and give them a great experience on Chicken Smoothie!

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I've usually spent at least three hours a day on CS, perhaps longer.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I usually have a lot of patience, and I enjoy helping out other users most of the time when it comes to things such as how to group pets, how to set up trade rules, how to get things from the events, things like that. I'm not too good when it comes to trade rarity knowledge, but have basic understanding of how the rarities go. And I'm not too familiar with all the Oekaki Tools either. But when it comes to the things I've listed above, related to setting up things, etc, I'm comfortable with helping out in that pathway.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I really appreciate being able to help out newbies and users as much as I can when I have the chance and the knowledge. It may not really make a difference with the name color or not, but I like being able to have this opportunity to help out the community<3 Thank you for giving us the chance!

At least two hours per night on week nights, and about five on weekends.

There are a few skills that I would be able to bring to this position. First of all, I have experience in mediation. Online, I am a moderator on the Holibombs thread, and have been for two years now. Also, I have experience working with people. I spend time working with special help children around the area. When it comes to Chicken Smoothie itself, I have more beneficial skills. I am quite experienced in many fields. I know how to work one's profile. I am skilled at explaining programs and tasks, such as writing one's signature. I am also quite skilled with Oekaki and would be able to benefit players who might need help with the program. Also, I am a skilled trader and would be able to help those who need help with trades or pets in general. Overall, I am quite patient and always willing to help others.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I would like to be a general helper because I adore Chicken Smoothie and would love to be able to help out. I am on it each and every day, and it has become a part of my life. The site has provided me with a sense of belonging for years, and has helped me meet many great people. Now, I feel as if I am ready and able to give back in any way possible. I would like to be able to use my skills to help the community, and by becoming a General Helper I will be able to do just that.

How many posts have you made in the forum?:
1051 posts in total. Not as many as others, though my lower post count does not mean I don't lurk the forums actively.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?:
I am online everyday, excluding some holidays, though I will be online this Christmas time when possible [most likely still everyday].
I sometimes may not be posting actively, though I am actively browsing the website.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
I am actively browsing and posting on ChickenSmoothie for perhaps a total of 2-5 hours depending on schedule [sometimes 3-8 on weekends], though I am casually online for much longer than that.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
Though I am not a native speaker nor very fluent, I have taken some years of Spanish and will try my absolute best to communicate to those Spanish speakers that have difficulty speaking English.
As for techy things, I am familiar with BB coding, and know a basic amount of HTML coding.
As for personality wise, I can lead when necessary. I am an officer in most of the school clubs I take part in, and I am a naturally calm person, though I am not a pushover. I do not often let my self get mad, and should I, I am quickly able to calm myself down and get back to the situation maturely.
Lastly, I know most things about the site such as the Pound, Adopts, terms only relevant to this website, and much more. I can assist people with posting in forums, teaching them terms like threads or oekaki, etc, and I can answer any questions they have. Should I be unable to answer any question a user has, I will no doubt do my best to find an answer, whether that means doing researching or referring them or myself to someone who does know the answer.
My inbox will be and always is open for any confused or curious members that have any questions regarding this site or anything relating to it.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I would like to be a General Helper because I feel like it would give me something good to do with my freetime. I also feel that being a General Helper will not only benefit me by giving me something to do, but it will benefit users, old and new, that need any questions answered. I am on everyday, and I see no reason as to why I should not at least apply to this position.
