How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Well, I'm on all day. I have a smart phone, so with a couple clicks I'm on CS on my phone.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: Well, I speak English, Dutch, and German. I have had a lot of experience in leading my peers and I volunteer with helping out people with disabilities. I adore helping answer people's CS trade questions, and although I am not a good artist, I am familiar with all the tools of oekaki. If it counts, I am also very patient. I know that that is a very good quality to have if you are helping others out.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? Well, I always want to help others out. And the thing is, sometimes people don't take me seriously, or don't believe that I know a lot, because I am a member from 2011, or because I don't have a colored name. I have looked through your whole CS staff, and saw that you only have people from 2010 and later. No 2011 players. I'm not saying that that is unfair to the 2011 players - it is completely fair. You obviously only want reliable players and I agree with you there 100%. So, I know that me applying for this is a shot in the dark and that a lot of older players are also applying. Anyway, another reason I want to be a general helper. I always thought that this would be the perfect job on CS for me. A global moderator would be a lot of work, and very stressful. I would not be a good oekaki moderator or a good roleplay moderator, because although I hang around in both forums I am not good at either roleplaying or drawing. But being a general helper really stuck out to me. Just being able to help players out, that's what I would really love to do. And I know that even without a colored name, I can still help people. But, with that extra boost, helping players, for me at least, would be taken to the next level. I think it would be a really great experience. Anyway, I know that even if I don't get this job I know that I will still continue to go on CS everyday and continue to help players out.

I speak French and Dutch so for any foreign users, I can answer questions to those users. I'm currently a moderator for Cyska Siberians and I answer a lot of questions each day and I do very well at my job. I handle trolls and confused users everyday. I also understand the oekaki well enough to explain how it works to another.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

The tricky question, right? Nah. I mainly want to be a General Helper to offer my services time to this site each day. I'm a very committed user with a great vocabulary and excellent grammar. I am well old enough to hold the responsibilities of a General Helper here on Chickensmoothie. I'm never a problem with lacking in doing my job - actually, when I have a job on a site, I get it done when needed. I'm a very friendly, nice person (I have people who can vouch for me). I'll be honest, I don't usually answer questions on the CS forums but sometimes, I get pms asking for help and I can answer it immediately without a problem and I do know how CS works, the rules, etc. I'm a kindergarten teacher and I enjoy helping others and being kind - it's my job and what I love to do.

Chickensmoothie is one of those websites I dedicate my time to, also. I'm here when I'm needed and I'm usually found answering questions about HTML, websites and stuff like that. I have, however, visited the introductory board on the forums to welcome a few newbies to CS and offer my help if they needed it. I'm not harsh or rude, either. I'm always found being nice to others. My attitude is kept to a distance as well. Thank you for your consideration and good luck with choosing!

   It Can be around 3-7 hours depending on the day, it could even be more.

   Well I can speak good Spanish, French and Polish. Also if I need any help with my languages then I could always check on google translate :3 I can use all the Oekaki tools quite well as I fiddle with it a lot .

   I have always loved CS, since the day I joined. Evereyday and hour that I came on I would learn something new.ilike to browse the forums a lot and as I see questions I would answer them in my head but wouldn't post in case I was wrong, but as orders posted I Realised that my answers were correct. Ihave always wand to be just part of a little bit more of the CS community, and I love to help people to. The last hiring job, I had only been on CS a few months and wasn't old enough to try. But this time I can and since I am very active on CS I would just love to be a helper. Once I have checked everything I am currently involved in that is usually me done and I would browse the forums so I think that I would be quite eligible and fitting for the job.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7 days a week, unless I have some important things to tend to.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? On summer break, I stay on all day, I always have a tab open and check it regularly. When school starts, however, I'll go on less frequently. It will definitely be well over two hours, on a good school day it may be up to 6 hours.
I always check CS on my ipod every morning, and before going to bed.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I speak and write fluent Polish, so I can communicate well. I do fairly well deciphering chat speak and quirks. I often help my sister and friends with any problems they may have, and I can answer a vast amount of questions. If I don't know an answer, I know how to look for it. I can help with trades, but only to a point. I am glad to help with any trades, but I am better with more straightforward trades. I usually browse the help forums, and I try to answer questions to the best of my ability, and those that aren't answered yet. Although I do browse regularly, I usually don't post too often, because another kind user answers before me. If I don't find any questions that I can answer, I often read the topics anyway, and hopefully learn something new.

I am pretty experienced with oekaki, I know very well what the tools do, but I prefer not to use it myself, as I have become used to using different tools that are not available on oekaki.

As for peer mediation, I do not need to use these skills too much, but when they are needed, I know how to handle it. I do handle things between friends, and sometimes between my sister and myself, and we always come to an agreement. I do try to reason with any fights/arguments, and it works out quite well in most situations. I never show anger, and If I am having a bad day or am losing my cool, I try my best not to show it. I address the user patiently and calmly, until things are settled. I can be very patient when necessary, and I do not get offended very often. I am a moderator on a minecraft server, and occasionally I do get nasty comments thrown at me. Through this I have learned the responsibility of being part of a team, and how to handle things calmly but effectively.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? Once in a while, I receive PM's asking for help. I have realized that I really enjoy answering and helping people in need. I would love to get more involved in the Chicken Smoothie community than I already am. To give back to the community, for helping me when I needed it. Chicken Smoothie is such a wonderful site, and I want to give my thanks to it. Colored name or not, I will continue to help, no matter what.

   Currently, 7580

   I'm almost always on CS, unless I am out of town or at school.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
   Usually around three or four but it varies depending on if it is a week day or weekend. I'm on more during the weekends, by about one or two more hours than regularly.
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
   Personally, trades are not my thing. If I received messages about trades and such, I might forward to to another general helper or someone I know to be good with trades. I am currently taking Spanish classes, and can speak the basics. I have had little experience as a peer mediator, but with time I could always improve. Short and sweet, the only thing I'm not good with are trades.
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?
   I've been a member here for three and a half years, and I guess I've always kind of wanted to help others. I suppose it would be a nice way to give back. Even if I'm not chosen, which I could totally understand, I will try to help other members more and more.

While I'm not a trade-vaule expert, per say, I would count myself as someone that you could turn to in the situation that you don't know what to do with a trade. I mighty not actively seek out questions to answer currently, though I'd be willing and ready to do so, and always welcome a question or two. We were all new people to this site at one point, no? As for Oekaki, it's not really a section of the site I'm familiar with, considering I just got a computer that would allow me to use it. If someone came to me with an Oekaki question, I would probably end up directing them to another member who knows more about it than I do until I am more familiar with it. I am actively learning the French language, and taking a trip to France during Spring Break for this school year. In the field of peer mediation, a few years back, I was in a class in which I volunteered to aid the mentally...retarded is the correct dictionary term, though with today's language, it's a bit on the put-down side...which I had a great time with. I've been in situations where I'm more of an expert than others plenty of times, and have always been willing to answer any...reasonable questions asked.

I have been on Chicken Smoothie for a while now and I know my way around easyly. I speak English, Japanese, Italian and a Spanish. I know how to work the Oekaki and I think myself as a fair trader. I dont get mad easyly but Im form when someone has broken the CS rules.

I enjoy making new friends and I want to help others. i am never knowen but i now have one chance to really help others.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 2-8 usually, 1 hour if i'm on vacation and around 2-4 for school days c: The rest of the time i am almost always on chicken smoothie

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I help out a lot at the "Is this a fair trade thread," I would consider myself good with rarities, every now and then I need help myself but that's usually with higher up trades, I don't like to help out if I am not sure about the trade C: I get messages from my friends and sometimes I even get them from other users asking me for help with trades (probably because they have seen me on the thread). Whenever I get a "bad" or "unfair" trade, I try to explain to the person why it is unfair and provide them with a link to "the rares list.”
I also know the tools of oekaki and how they work (I have helped out my friend with this once c:) so if someone has a question about them I can help them with it. I can provide them with a visual if necessary as I have done before ^^. I do take Spanish at school so I can understand some of the basics in conversations, but with languages, I don't think I can help as much.
I am also pretty patient and if I notice an argument starting I try to cool it down by letting them know where each other is coming from ^^ (I have done this on the TRT) I notice people get overworked there sometimes over small things that someone might not have intended to be rude but sounded it. I feel that if I am a general helper, they will process it more than they might from a normal member.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I would like to be a General Helper because I feel like I have enough experience on chicken smoothie to be one and I like to help out players because it simply makes me feel good^^ Chicken smoothie is one of the few sites I never get bored with, in fact, it's the website I spend most of my time on. I think the community here is great and would love to be able to contribute to it C: Even though I try my best to help out by letting people know what is wrong with a trade or helping them with coding/finding threads, I feel that if people know I am a general helper by seeing the colored name and label, I can do this more, not to mention having access to the new help messaging system so people don't have to message me directly, but none the less get help from me. I have been told I am a really nice user on here, and it is really flattering^^
It makes me feel so good, and that is one of the best things about helping others.

I love to help people, plus, I've seen how nice the General Helpers are, and I would love to be one of them. I am sorry if I have not given enough information about why I would like to be a General Helper, but that sums up most of it.
