I'm not happy about this change unlike most. Especially donkey's - I was so happy to collect most if not all of the old donkey's, and I don't want them changed. Maybe it's just me, but to me it seems like digging up a grave. I'd leave them be. I guess I can't change anything, though.

I think the donkeys should be left alone, also. I can live with the horses and ponies, but I love my old donkies too

There's really no debating it at this point. The Transformation is already going ahead guys. All of equimagine's lines are being replaced ^^' Sorry

As it says on the first page the donkeys will be put on the lines Yul made for Christmas 2011's donkeys, and Unicorns and Zebras get their own special lines. That's pretty cool isn't it? C:

I have said this before ... I understand the reasons for the change, I really do. I just kind of feel like the donkeys are seen as inferior a little bit. Unicorns are getting their own lineart, as well as PPS horses, and PPS ponies, and even zebras and the rainbow horse. (rainbow something.. I don't have it so I dont pay that much attention)

The old donkeys are just going to be turned into a lineart that was simply a pony lineart edited to look like a donkey for Christmas one year. I don't have a problem with Yulynh's art at all; don't get me wrong. I just think the donkeys are getting shafted a bit. The lineart is very pony-like and the heads wont even be facing forward anymore. They will look like long eared ponies basically. And those of us that love them are so few (it seems) ... and there are only five donkeys... so we have very little say in it. ..

I know.. I know.. uniformity....all the same.. blah blah blah. I will force a smile through this... but uniformity is not why I over paid for them. They are different and should remain so...

Now I know this is on the negative side so I may get blasted for saying this. All is ask is that you be nice in your response or don't respond at all. I would really prefer a CS mod or artist respond and just let me know you have heard us..... even if nothing will change... just some acknowlegement, ya know..

Well, guess what? Equimagine reused her pony linearts to make the old zebras, even though real zebras look nothing like ponies, but you don't hear anyone complaining about that. Not trying to be mean or anything, I'm just saying. It's not like this will be the first anatomically-wrong pet. However, both equimagine and Yulynh did a good job making the zebras/donkeys look right. ^-^

She used her pony lines for the donkey as well. She just put a new head on it, as well as edited the tail. So really, having the donkeys in the same lineart as the new ponies, just with a few line edits, will be just like what equi did. Yes I would prefer them to have their own unique lines, but I don't mind that much to be honest.

Guys, it's not yet 100% sure donkeys wont get a new lineart. If admins cant find the donkey lineart (read the first page, it's missing), they'll have to make new one. ^^'

Actually, without meaning to... you just made my point for me. If Equimagine reused her pony lines to make zebras... and if these zebras were being treated the same as the donkeys... they would be tranferred over to the pony lines with a few edits such as stripes and long tail for example. But that is not what is happening... The zebras are getting their own lines.

I am okay with them not being anatomically correct and I am okay with the change. I just would prefer for them to stay different.. just as the other ones are staying different.. such as zebras, unicorns, etc.

Note: I would like to add that I am happy with the change in general. And I think the artists are doing an excellent job. Please do not misunderstand what I am trying to say.

Personally, I'm fine with the donkey/pony lineart, and I'm pretty excited to see them change. I hoard them, so I'm really hoping I'll love these guys as much as I did on their old lines. (which shouldn't be an issue, all the transformations have been amazing so far!) A unique lineart would be fun, but the edited ponies looks enough like donkeys for me to be content with it. I like how scruffy and bouncy they look in the pony lines, and that they took the time to change the face instead of slapping big ears and a mohawk on the ponies and calling it a donkey. (and I just noticed that the hooves are smaller on the donkey lineart!)

We already have an existing lineart for donkeys, so I don't think there's much reason to create a new one. The zebras, rainbow manes, and PPS' are all very valuable pets that a lot of people were concerned about.
The donkeys are pretty awesome, but they're not worth very much and people aren't as concerned with their fate as they were with the others.
