We have noticed that it seems like the main concerns so far are about a few favorite pets like the PPS ponies and the rainbow mane changing. If the opinion remains divided then we may re-vote with new conditions such as keeping the PPS ponies and have special line edits for things like the rainbow mane horse so that it still looks good on the new lines.

I for one think that the issue of the traced lines is one of the biggest reasons CS needs to move forward with Yul's fresh lines. Equi provided us with many, many wonderful designs but the fact that her lines look like they're traced poses a moral and ethical dilemma for me. I think that by switching her designs [which are her own work and deserve to be preserved] onto a more uniform as well as honest lineart would be a very smart move for CS. While many of you may be opposed to losing Equi as a part of our history, we won't. We have her beautiful designs to stay around which will just be moved to a lineart which doesn't make many of the members feel ill at ease and possibly put the staff in a strange situation.

And adding onto Hekomi.. why would we want this lineart a part of CS history anyways? Equi herself as well as her designs and other contributions are something to be remembered. But if she traced the lineart, wouldn't it be best to not have art theft as part of CS's history? Art theft no matter the magnitude is always (or should always be) frowned upon, and just because she was an official artist, or because some of us may like her horses more shouldn't excuse this.

I'm sure if this never came to past, plenty of new members would find out about this one day, and when seeing Equi's linearts still present, I don't think they'll be too happy.

Thank you Hekomi.
Some people might take it a little more seriously coming from a mod.
I for one, think that keeping the lines could jeopardize the site as well as cause issues in the future.

Hekomi, perfect, I can't say anything better.

This is a really cool idea!
I really don't care one way or another, but the new drafts are just so cute, I had to vote yes. XD

I agree with hekomi.
It's best to settle the dilemma. Your not losing the horses completely. And the the new lines would put many many CS members at ease.

I think that (from tess' update) if everyone is worried about how only a few specific designs wouldn't be good to change that something else would do ok.

Going a bit along with this but in the other way, just because you change something does not make it go away in the past. I am one for things to stay how they are now as it shows how much CS has grown and changed over the years. If you are putting it this way it is like we are trying to hide it in a since when we can prove nothing was done wrong. There are only so many ways a horses can stand or lay and if you look hard enough I am sure you can find or make pictures that look like all the different lines. But I did not really make this post to bring up the old lines but to keep them. It's part of how CS has grown and changing them to make everything the same just does not seem right, it would seem like CS has changed. When we are voting here we are voting not just for our own pets but everyone elses too. I understand that have three is a bit much and they want to try and make everything the same, but thats just it the difference shows the growth of the sight and how much the lines and the works of others has changed us. Yes I understand that the design is the same and all, but it still does not look like the same horse. The theeme is the same but if you look at the design it is not and it can not be as they where made by others. Sorry for the rant by the way, I just kind of feel strong about keeping the old lines.

Did you forget me so soon?
The one who made you,
turned you into this monster?
How sad.

Though I guess it's to be expected,
you always liked to block things out.
If it didn't make sense in your mind,
you just forgot about it.

But maybe it's because I didn't,
make you into a monster that is.
You already were a monster,
weren't you?

Anyway, I really dont want this. Many old horses ndponies will lost their personality, especialy the pps pony I mentioned. Oh, and think about hoarders, what if they spent much time to get them? And if they DO care for linearts? Brrr!
