This is a horrible idea. Equis designs belong on her lines not Yulnyhs. I mean no offense to our resident horse artist but the designs being transferred into her lines feels like your ripping away beloved CS memories. One of my very first pets was an Equimagine horse a pound grab from a friend as a welcome gift. I don't see how messing with the linearts is easier than fixing the items to work with all of the horses not just the new ones or old ones depending on what item your referring to.
Please don't rip away beloved CS memories it's not fair on those who don't want the change. can;t we have a choice on whether or not we have the horses changed? Instead of the poll deciding on the outcome. I do not want my old horses changed just because we have a newer artist whose lineart I don't love anywhere near as much.
Actually, it's a lot easier for the artists to redo the designs than to redo the items. I believe Sorren posted awhile back mentioning how the lines on items are extremely small and are difficult to do.
Also, this "fabled, forbidden" subject isn't fabled and isn't forbidden. There's pictures that show some pretty striking similarities between photos and her linearts (above). And you voting in this poll is your way of deciding if you want the line art changed. If you're so attached to Equi's lines then save all the pictures of your favorites to your computer, or start a thread in tribute to her line art :]

I have 2 questions.
1. If the lineart changes, does the rarity change?
I have an equimagine horse for a contest prize, and nothing that matches the date and year, that's all.
2. Will the equimagine fitting items be converted?

1. Nope, nothing will change but the picture
2. I believe Tess said they would.

1. The rarity will stay the same :]
2. I'm not entirely sure, but I'd think they would
EDIT; Whoops, I got ninja-ed.

No it isn't. Tess said it was a mistake of Equimagine's, she didn't say it didn't break copyright laws.
If it was an issue, they would be changed without a poll.
Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

I also have a photo of my horse in a similar pose. However, not everything was the same.
Look at all of the shapes and placements. Look at the legs, the angles. Everything is about dead on. You can't say, "Hey, the nose is a bit different, it must not be traced!" when the entire image speaks otherwise. The nose is strikingly similar anyways.
Everything, even the tail is dead on. Coincidence? I think not.

odin wrote:READ THE FIRST POST! THE ISSUE REGARDING THE LINES WAS SOLVED. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT ISSUE. IT IS WHETHER OR NOT YOU WANT THE LINES CHANGED FOR CONFORMITY SAKE.
I do not want them changed. I like the variety. Having them all be exactly the same, would be boring. I love all the different poses of the old horses and ponies. I don't care if some items don't fit the old horses, I love their poses, and designs and IMO they would not look right on the new horses. I, personally, think the old ponies are way more cute than the new ones. I don't want them changed.
The issue regarding the lines was not "solved", the staff is just trying to save face and they're not acknowledging the problem at all (when they should because it's extremely important). Changing the lines most certainly DOES have to do with these issues, I just wish Tess would come out and say it. Instead, posts about it are getting deleted left and right in some sort of attempt to cover it up, I'm guessing? Either way, the problem with tracing is EXTREMELY important to this decision and EVERYONE should realize this. The lines are traced, this is art theft, and they should be changed. This is far more important than having ~variety~ or ~better-looking designs~.
