I don't see the new horses being much easier to trade. :/ I end up gifting most of my extras just so I can be rid of them.
Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

But do you really want all the pets to have the same lineart? That would be dull. The different linearts are what gives the site character, they make it what it is, they make it special and unique. Take away those different linearts, and what are you left with? The same lineart, over and over again. The site loses some of it's character for the sake of looking more modern and organized.
The different linearts also show how CS has progressed over the years. They hold history. And even if you make a section of the archives for them, it's not the same thing as actually having them.

I agree completely! It will NOT be the same without them. Not one bit. If you have an archive, how does that help anything? You can't dress them( yes, you CAN dress them, I have. You just have to be creative), you can't name them, you can't really enjoy them. I know lots of my friends prefer these horses, and I do too. I personally don't like the new horses as much. They're too real in my opinion. I like how the old ones have character and personality.

And, even if I didn't like the old line-art so much, I would refuse to vote yes without knowing what they plan to do to the other line-arts that they're changing. Without an image I'm just assuming the unicorns will be the new horse line-arts with a horn shoved on their head. I love how original and out there the unicorns are now. They are mythical and magical creatures, they should all look different, not like some uniform boring mess.

I have to disagree on the draft. It looks fine- just like a draft should. :3 Thick and powerful!

And they haven't shown any unicorn designs crossed over to Yulyn's lines because they're still working on them. ;3 If it was just a 'horn shoved on their head' type deal, I'm sure they would have already given us an example!

Try looking at the new one next to the old one. It looks small. It looks square. It looks like it's posing. Draft horses should be powerful, built for working. I like something I can imagine throwing a harness on and having it haul with no problem, not something that looks like it was made to stand pretty for cameras.

And that's exactly my point with the unicorns (and donkeys and zebras, for that matter). They aren't done. How are we supposed to vote on something that we don't know if we'll like or not? It could just be a minor edit to an existing line-art, or something totally different. Until I know what it will look like, that's the image stuck in my mind for it.

Even when this draft is working she still looks "posed". Horses do stand still, not all of them are working 100% of the time.

It's better to focus on the lineart change as a whole rather than wondering about the unicorns and zebras.

I like the old lines as much as the new ones, and would personally be sad to see them go :C

Posting another big "Yes" to the change from my daughter, Posie, who is unable to post for herself. Although she generally hates big changes, her personal preference is for the new lines.

The more we see the Equi designs on the Yul linearts, the more we like them.

I've never had a problem trading Yulynh horses. I do the same as you, but I gift Equimagines.

Its the headless horsewoman!

I wouldn't mind seeing the unicorn lines when their done. I've already voted yes tho. I am fully supporting this change, mostly because I just never liked Equimagines stuff.

I also think compromising a couple of pets is just silly.
If we keep say the buckskin PPS and the RBM, and the Dice PPS and so on and so forth, then where would it stop? If we keep putting pets on the list not to change, then its just going to get longer and longer, and soon, there wont be any pets left to change...
The only pet I can really think of, that changing might not work, is the roadkill PPS...

I can only vote yes, and a big yes, on this matter. I quite like the new lines over the old ones, and can't wait to see the RBM! Those draft lines are absolutely fabulous as well! Cannot wait to see the new unicorn lines c:
