The Fennec Foxes have been heavily referenced/traced as well, so they will have to be changed along with the horses and ponies.

i understand where you're coming from, but if you're going to nitpick something as small as hoof color

Hoof color is just one tiny aspect of things... telling people to stop complaining is just rude. This thread is for discussion about the changes and both sides are allowed to discuss it as long as they do so with respect.

I have many things to "fight for", but I never intended to fight in the first place... it would be nice if those attacking the ones who are saddened or upset with the changes would understand that we have every right to be upset and express it as long as it is done in a respectful manner.

You love the changes... that is great.... we miss the unique positions of the old lines and notice changes in areas of some of our favorites when they are changed over and we are supposed to "get over it".



We are not "fighting" the fact that the changes have to happen... just openly mourning the loss of old pets we were very fond of.

exactly. but honestly, i'm completely for the change, and i always have been - i am extremely happy to see the line arts being changed. i just really wish that certain pony was a bit more true to the original design, that's all. the artists are doing wonderfully, and it is a really great design in itself - it's just kind of unnecessary to change such things and seems a bit too different from the original design imo.

personally im fine with it all now, but i see where you are coming from - you lost something you loved, but were promised something to try and make it up (that you could keep the designs) now you feel the promise wasn't kept and thats not fair. i can only say the artists are doing what they think is right for the colouring and sometimes can't find the correct colours, they can't be exact, but i agree changing the head an hoof colour can be annoying, but its still amazing and we still have the horses right?

I was wondering about the malk dogs, wolves, foxes, and cats. Are they going to change? It said that the malk horses and the warriors wouldn't, but what about other older pets that weren't mentioned?

The unicorns were changing, and i don't remember reading about a problem with those designs, so i was just wondering. I hope they don't change. I feel like it would be a pity to change them for no reason.

Unfortunately, all of the old Equi lines have to be replaced because once the 'integrity' of an artists lines are questioned and one found to be an issue then all of the lines become suspect and it is safest to remove all the lines to prevent future issues.

I would love it if they managed to keep the "Medieval" feel to them, that 'tapestry design' quality they have (they have always reminded me of the way they were depicted on a coat of arms or tapestry) but we will just have to wait and see.

The changes I am least looking forward to are

My innocent little pony PPS, he has such a shy innocent look to him... and

These feisty PPS... to see them move to the current horse PPS lines will be sad (for me)

Yes, that is a CS horse copied from a photograph. (Thanks Harpalyce(?) for the comparison image.)

This is just one of the examples, I know there are others floating through the different threads but I am not 100% sure where XD I just know I have seen them. Hope that helps!

But only one stage will be changed! ^_^ The adult lines will remain the same. I think it's a middle stage that's getting a revamp. C:

hmmm, it surprises me to see a photo here. I'm almost certain I've seen a medieval tapestry with a unicorn in exactly that pose.... it seemed so familiar.
