Equine Transformation - The Rainbow Mane lines (please read)

One word: Amazing! Yulynh has done a great job!

I can not wait for my Rainbow Mane to change now (Well, I couldn't wait before but now I am even more impatient for this change)

I may be wrong here lol but I am wondering if the unusual pose for the new RBM is because Yulynh was trying to keep the same generalized pose as the original RBM to try to keep people happy. Like, to me at least, the angles to the front legs look similar to the original though the new one lacks the bone-bending curvature to the front right cannon. Same with the back legs but with a slightly more pronounced bend in the off-leg and legs flipped to the opposite side.



I am not pushing that it is or isn't a proper canter/gallop motion here, just speculating that that was maybe why it was drawn in that way. Either way, I like it significantly over the older lines even if it isn't 100% right, it makes me smile which is what a site where you adopt pixel pets is supposed to do no? lol
I think maybe Yul tries to make it so people who had been upset get something that they want to see happen. Obviously for many that hasn't worked but it is imposible to keep everyone happy. Jump on me if you want lol but I won't reply, that's my 2 cents on the matter

Good job artists! To both of you who are spending the hours colouring and to Yul for all the lovely work XD You guys are awesome

I absolutely adore the new lines for the Rainbow Mane, and strangely enough(I loved the old lines), I believe they are great. I am happy that Yulynh kept the lines very similar, which is great, but I feel that the lines could use some more 'umpth.' I was expecting something grand, like the unicorns, but they are the same, a little more excitement would be wonderful.

Has the Rainbow Mane's litter changed yet?

I was really, really disappointed in the new drafts and unicorns, since I don't like cartoony/comic-style-horses. I fancied Yulynhs original horses and ponies more.

Thus, for a moment, my heart skipped a beat while the pictures of the new RBM loaded.
Only saw a bit of the mane and ears, the lineart was just as thick as on the unicorns and OHMYGAWD DON'T WANT ;w;

... then I saw the full image and oh. Oh. <3

It was my dreamie way back when it was released. Traded for so many spares but none of them turned into the RBM. I finally, finally got it in... 2011? 2012?

I honestly didn't expect them to be this great, I simply adore the new RBM <3 These are my absolute favorite horse lines now. I think the artist did an amazing job and bumped the RBM to my 3rd favorite pet on the site Now I can't wait for the new buckskin PPS's lines!

I was so worried about my buckskin pps, but the RBM looks so good, that now i am getting excited for the buckskin! And I love the eyes on the RBM, I really like that they are bigger and you can see the colour more clearly.
