:( I love the old linearts, especially the pony art used in the blue pony example in Tess's post and the "prancing" style horses. I'll be sad to see them go, but the poll seems to be leaning that way.

The new heavy-horse lineart(draft) is absolutely amazing, but could it be given a tail?

Depending on the horse breed, some larger drafts like percherons do not have a full tail. ^^ They are supposed to be work horses, so they do not have as much of a tail at the back in order to not get into machinery/work.

The ones I've seen(mostly pet Clydesdales) have their tail left as it is, my thinking being that technically CS horses are pets? Maybe some with and some without would work, I know working horses often have them cut/plaited.

It's gorgeous either way though, the only one of these changes I'd really like to see

My Bessie had a full tail and she was a Clydesdale.

Is there going to be a " lineart archive " or some sort of nostalgia corner so us nostalgic people can still view the old linearts if Tess really changes them? :3

it seems to me a lot of people voting for the change don't care because the horses are not their main focus. Those of us with extensive horse collections are the ones this is going to hurt.

I agree. Horses are one of the less popular species it seems, but those of us who do love them will be sad to see the old designs go.

I know it's been proposed, but I'm not sure if it's for sure. I would like to see one though.

Paula [the horse] is a pet and lesson horse but she doesn't have a full tail. cx Though my cob has a full tail.
