Equine Transformation - Going ahead - please read for info!

The arab lines might be used for the rainbow mane [no confirmation yet] but since they were used as store pets, people might not like that.

The new horses and ponies look awesome. c: I think they really bring out what Equi was trying to go for with her work and they're lovely.

I honestly dont think that the point is to make them look as they did before, if you look at them none of them look the same at all.

They are doing their best to recreate the designs with a new flare lol, they do look very similar to how they did, but they aren't identical cause that's impossible <3 No matter how many times I draw someone's character, it would never look the same as the ref cause the artist isnt the same lol

The artists are doing the best they can and I applaud them for that You guys are working really hard for us and I appreciate that!

I'm sorry you feel that way. There are many people however that disagree <3 I think a lot of the new designs look amazing, and like Hekomi said, more like what Equimagine had been trying to convey in the first place lol

Either way, whether you like it or not there isn't any reason to say the artists have ruined the designs, its hurtful to artists who work hard to try to make people happy. I don't envy the artists and all the work they still have left
Keep up the awesome work you guys I love all the new ones coming out and can't wait to start adding them to my collection rather than letting them rot in a trade group

Agreed!! The staff have a huge job ahead of them and they are doing so well so far!! :mrgreen: It is really hard to recreate a design exactly as it was, I think they have been doing fabulously so far ^^ Can't wait to see more lol

I disagree. Aside from a few of them, they look fairly close to the originals, they're just more detailed, and well, updated. The gummy ponies for example. Their designs look almost exactly the same, they've just got more shine to them like a gummy should. It's still easy to see which pet they were previously.

And to Hekomi about the arab lines, while it'd be an improvement from the normal horse lines for that particular pet (a huge improvement actually), honestly I was expecting to get an even more unique lineart for such a rare horse. I'm grateful they're being updated at all mind you, but I won't lie about the fact I was expecting a whole different pose and such. I guess I just had too much wishful thinking.

At least the unicorns, roadkill and hopefully some of the more noteworthy pps's will get very unique lines though..

I think Tess said she wasn't really keen on using the Arabian lines because the Arabian set was fairly basic as far as colouration went, and the only really special thing about them was the lines so it would be unfair to people who paid real money for them.

I think they're just going to make new lines for it. Or a regular horse with longer fancier mane. They're def doing a line edit anyway.

I am sad about some of the changes but overall I think it's Goidelic for CS pur current artist (I can't spell her name but ut starts with a Y. Sorry) Works very hard and has brought us beautiful line arts for us to enjoy the old designs.I'm wondering how the PPS will change and the unicorns as we'll but I'm excited for it and I love the new drafts I think new line arts are a wonderful addition for fun and to get chicken smoothie ouT of legal issues I hope everybody finds a new favorite amongst the changed ponta and horses and I'm happy to see many peopke have put lots of hard work and thought into this

1. The fennec foxes will not change; only 1 growth stage will change as it was just that 1 stage that was traced.
2. While most of us (including the newbies) loved the old line-art, it has been stated, and made very clear more than several times, that it simply cannot be kept. Art theft was done, so a wrong must be righted.
3. Quit fussing about the horse accessories; Tess has already stated that all horse items will be redone to fit all horses.

Who knows...mayhaps the team will make items to fit our newly updated drafties. I'd love to see a harness set for the ones that look like the huge teddybear, the Clydesdale. <3

Tess has already stated, again, that the PPS foals, the Rainbow Mane and a few others that are quite special will get their very own line-art done. It'll take some time, but never fear...they will get it. ^.^
