I think we all need to take a step back here and look at this situation the way it is. It is an update on pixelated animals to help make items available to every horse/pony rather than just some. You are not losing any history, any value on the pet, you're not losing something sacred. It's just an online horse. I don't think a line edit for the greater good of the efficiency of the website's item system is not a bad thing whatsoever.
That said, I'm entirely for this idea and hope it goes through.

No, it is a value on the pet. A value that we, as owners of said pet, put on that pet. I think the old ponies are cuter than the new ones. I like the pose of the running horses. I like the old draft horses. I love the PPS versions of those lines. I don't care if items don't "fit" them, as I don't really dress them up. But that doesn't mean that I don't like them.
I could go through and post ALL my pps horses and ponies... lol

In my opinion, having every horse the same exact line art would be boring. Same with the ponies. I love the variety, and much prefer the old ones to the new.

I'm torn. Mostly about the pps buckskin which seems selfish to me, but at the same time it's one I adore. I also really love these pps lines. Then there are these guys
So there are some things I'd like to have more information on how they are going to be changed. The problem with the foals is that there are so many lines to discuss. There are less variations in the adults. (*ha! Odin, I was just typing those guys into here ^_^*)

Whether it's foals or or adults, I prefer the dynamic poses of the older lines when it comes to the horses. On the other hand, the ponies I prefer the newer lines. And I'm loving those new draft lines. Simply loving.

I honestly think its going to be great to see the designs of most of the horses translated onto the new lines. There's a depth there that makes them fit better with the rest of the site that is fantastic. It's those small twinges of nostalgia that make me feel torn.

It WILL be? I just woke up and I'm assuming that was mentioned loads of pages back. Do I really want to dig through or do I want to continue being lazy...

I don't think that this is a very good idea. Obviously there will be users who feel differently, but some users have spent quite a long time trading for the older styles specifically. Personally, I lost interest in the horses once they changed to the new style. I enjoy the variety of this game, and I believe this change might unfortunately be the start of my end on CS. Obviously one user "threatening" to quit isn't going to change anything (and I will probably get a lot of hate replies just for saying that), but I have seen this happen many times in different games. The old features are FINE! If people want to add accessories to their animals, let them trade for the items that work with them, or trade the pets away for the new ones that work with more items. But leave the members who love these old styles to have a choice.

Now I'm not any kind of website expert, in fact I know practically nothing about how this will work, but maybe you could do something different instead of a mandatory change for all the horses. For example, including a button on the old horses that could switch them to the new ones if the owners desired. This change would be irreversible, but the ones that are left alone could be traded for as a specialty by those of us who really like them. I am not sure how difficult this would be to pull off engineering wise, but I believe it would be worth it.

Trust me, the people who really like these horses/ponies won't care a bit about the difficulty of obtaining items for them.
Well that's all I have to say, and I really don't want to get into an argument or debate about this. People have their own opinions, and they have a right to that, so don't bother trying to "challenge" mine, you won't change my mine, you'll waste time, and this will become unpleasant.

People obviously like the PPS lines a lot better, and I've seen this suggested, but maybe make new lineart specifically for the PPS'? Because I actually agree there, the PPS' horses and ponies with the old lineart is definitely a lot cuter, and if new lineart can be made to keep that cuteness, I'd be all for it.

I'm not a fan of the adult lines at all, so change them at will.

No, it's not for sure, but with the majority still being yes I think it has a good chance, that's what I am hoping for at least. As long as Yes stays above 50%

I'm not sure if you were referring to my idea, but I had a quick comment about this. This is just my individual personal opinion, but really, who cares about time consuming? This is a change that will affect a great deal of CS, and it doesn't seem like its a good idea to rush into anything and leave a great deal of CS upset or disappointed in the process. It doesn't look like this will be an issue however, as most of you are voting for the change anyway. I am very, very disappointing in Chicken Smoothie at the moment.

Honestly, there is only a handful of people who probably cared about Equimagine horses before this came up, now everyone is up in arms. Everyone has them for trade and only a few collect them, so it is just that this was mentioned that got everyone's hair up. It's not that major, it's just like when Malk changed her lines, except she didn't ask.

I like the new pony lineart better and wouldn't mind having it replace the old one. I don't have an opinion as it comes to horses. However, both pony and horse PPS look better on the old lines.

I'd love Drafts to be introduced, but I just wish they had longer tails.
