I saw this one earlier on in this thread, but I think some Myers-Briggs personality type stamps would be cool.
I totally agree that those would be awesome and I would like some as well! c:
But I think there might be copyright issues with that? I think there might be an official Myers Briggs foundation that wouldn't want their typology system mentioned/used just anywhere without proper credit or payment or whatever (I have no idea how copyright and stuff works for a website like this)

On the 14th I opened up a stamp collection rating thread, if anyone is interested. It is located
here!I suggest more "stickers" maybe stars, swirls, borders, stuff like that. It'd help let people customize even more! c:
I also suggest the first nation [native American] "zodiac"
Pecan wrote:How about cancer stamps?
Like "I survived" or "I know someone with it" and "I know a survivor" or "Hoping" with all different cancer ribbons?
Or just the ribbon as a small transparent graphic that sits in your stamps like the country and language "stamps"
Maybe some ribbons like migraine awareness, diabetes awareness, autism awareness, etc.
Or even some diet stamps, like "Carnivore" "Omnivore" "Vegetarian" "Vegan" and a cute one, "Sweetetarian/Sweetivore"
Adding on to my suggestions!
Maybe we could put the zodiac graphics from Chinese zodiac as stamps; mega graphics then small versions?
Maybe "against inbreeding animals" stamp, "against puppy mills" etc.

If people have freedom of expression over
their sexuality and religion in their signature,
what difference does it make in terms of
stamps?
khal wrote:yes, this is a good point. people put all sorts of stuff in their signatures about who they are, i'm not really sure why it'd be any different in stamp form.
The difference is that in a signature, you can write what you want, but stamps have to be premade for you to to choose them. If Chicken Smoothie decided to include religion-identifying stamps, the would have to include every single possible religion, or else they'd face users claiming discrimination since theirs was not included.
To my knowledge, there are over 120 recognized religions. It would be cool to have a stamp available for each one, but the work required would be tremendous, and it may simply result in more harm than good. Unfortunately, this applies to other things as well, such as sexualities and gender-identifications; instead they added stamps for preferred gender pronouns (he, she, they, etc.), which avoids that issue.
(I wonder if Nick still took me off of the moderation queue list anyway)
Just a curious question or idea. Couldn't they maybe do religious symbols such as crosses, doves, pentagrams, buddist sunwheel, majis and things of that nature? Often time symbols belong to more than just one religion. Of course this wouldn't be specific, but it's just a thought.
