You should be making a cake, not a cookie. And any decorations you make should be made by hand (see Tess's cake on the first post.)

I went to my local grocery store today to check out the marzipan icing, but the ingredients stated the icing was 26% almonds.
Unfortunately, I cannot use the marzipan icing since I am allergic to nuts.
Does anyone know a good alternative for marzipan icing (another type of moldable icing) that does not have nuts?

Some baking stores sell modeling chocolate. You can use that but you it's not easy to color it with food coloring (I believe it comes in diff. colors)
