Fennec Foxes - update for the 2009/2010 Shima Fennecs

I am sad to see them changed, the artist did a great job but I can't see them as special anymore. They are missing the long curled fluffy tail and the long hair at the front.

When they brought the foxes out in July I thought they were going to be special ones so we would only get them occasionally like the events, Christmas. When they come out of the other species box and they didn't change the name to foxes I thought that meant we would get different types of pets over the year, if that had happened then I think the Shima foxes would still be seen as must have pet.

I would like to see the blue one with at least a happy birthday on it so it would look more like the original.

Thank you to the artists who worked hard to change them and I do understand why this had to happen.

Why do they have to turn what was a amazing pet into a common unwanted pet?!

They could of just made the sprite special like not fennec,like different pose,malk like style etc

I'll be honest, I'm gonna miss the old lines a lot.
Now don't get me wrong, I love the new lines. I really do. I have a fennec fox hoard of over 450. But I fell in love with the old lines and I knew they would be changed and knew they would be on these lines but I just kinda hoped they would be made a little more special. Just a little more different than all the other fennec foxes. I still love the fennec foxes i just feel a little disappointed.

The line art is beautiful, hate to see old lines go but happy to see new ones.

This looks nothing like it used to. It was so pretty before, but now it's just a regular blue fox that we already have three of. This saddens me greatly. Where did the pretty fluffiness go and the design is all wrong and the background's also gone D:

It was one of my favourites pets before, but now I don't really like it at all.

I'm so happy with this update! Even though the old art was more detailed, now I can put last month's Halloween jackets on my old foxes

Was the fur pattern markings hard to replicate? That how it looked like clouds?


I wonder how many who wanted the traced art, are also the kind who go on the warpath, if they had a tiger fursona with collard lizard markings, when someone has a lion with the same markings and one color difference. I had seen people on deviant art go nuts over a dog in a scarf. So, if they are the kind. It's almost ironic.

As for the fox tails, fennec foxes tails are not that fluffy in reality
